"It is always the quiet ones, that make the loudest noise, without saying a word."

- Unknown

You jolt up, your sweaty body bumping into a muscular frame. Quickly glancing at him, you spot Jungkook snoring, deep in his slumber as his naked body traps you in a warm embrace. The heat radiating from him reminds you of what happened only a few hours ago.

How he took you upstairs.

How he undressed you painfully slow when the craving in his eyes told you that he wanted to rip it off in an instant.

How he lost patience and ended up ripping it anyway, along with your panties. You didn't mind him ruining your favourite dress. He has become your new favourite.

How he threw you on the bed and stared at you for what felt like hours. And when you asked him to come close, he took a deep breath and exhaled harshly, and said, "Give me a moment."

He wanted your body to be ingrained in his brain forever.

How after drinking you with his gaze, he jumped on the bed and gripped your hands above your head and sucked every inch of your body dry.

How he wined and tremored with the anticipation as he ate you out, his tongue lapping up your essence that made your toes curl and your eye roll to the underworld.

How you complained that it's not fair that he's still dressed, and he took off his clothes and your heart skipped a beat the moment you saw his girthy goodness. How it made your mouth water.

How you lurched at him, taking him in your mouth and sucking him till he cried in pleasure. He couldn't control himself when he pushed your head forward, making you choke. How tiny droplets of tears formed around his eyes and yours, making you grin in satisfaction as he came.

How you didn't want him to wear a condom and you reckon neither did he. It was when he reached for the drawer, you pulled his hand back to your chest and made him forget about protection.

How he entered you with so much of tenderness, only to ram into you the second time, contradictory to his gentleness.

How he was so rough it made you scream harder than you have ever, making you feel glad he doesn't have any neighbours. And the way he fucked you in positions you had never even imagined. He went on for hours and hours, till both of you were covered in each other's arousal and sweat.

How you came so hard to the point you blacked out, and he kept sucking the places on your skin that he bit earlier, soothing the soreness. You're sure they're all purple and blue by now but you want to wear it with pride.

How when you glance at his sleeping form you notice scratch marks on his chest and back, making you pepper light kisses on them. He stirs ever so slightly and you find your cue to leave the bed. He looks so peaceful when he sleeps, contrasting how he looked so tense when he met you in the bar yesterday. You don't want to wake him yet. His t-shirt feels foreign to you, but you like it. You like how big it feels on your small body, just like he does inside you.

You've been holding your bladder for a while now, but you don't want to wake him up to ask for directions so you take your phone and search for a bathroom to release the tension in your abdomen. His room is more on the modern side, with up-to-date furniture and appliances. The room itself is small in size and doesn't have an attached bathroom.

It's when you step outside and into the long corridor that the old and run-down infrastructure hits you. There's an ominous aura that surrounds the walls, it screams at you to run but you don't. Maybe it's just the house that scares you. Not the owner. He's nice. He's kind. He's caring. He's kinky. He makes your heart flutter, and ever since you've consummated your union, you feel like you're official now. It's as if you have a future together, a promising one.

After finding a bathroom attached to the adjacent room, you feel relieved. He definitely needs to up his game when it comes to cleaning but you understand. The house is big, he has not only his job but his family responsibilities as well. It must be difficult for him to balance all of them at once.

You sit on a made-up bed in the spare room as you scroll through your phone's notifications. It's almost three in the morning, the town is quiet and the darkness is slowly fading as dawn comes. Your parents had sent a message earlier telling you that they had reached your apartment and are tucked into bed, and sipping peppermint tea, with a smiley face. It makes you smile.

Then you see Wendy's message and it makes you miss her. You wanted to at least see her on your graduation day. You play, expecting another apology and a congratulation but it's something else, something sinister. You stare at your phone screen as her voice fades, making you press the replay button.

Jeon Jungkook.

He is exactly the man you are dating. She had attached a photo from the yearbook, and though one can't recognise him at first glance, his beaten face completely different from how he looks now, it's his eyes that strike an exclamation mark in your head. It is him.

How is it possible? The fact that Jungkook lived in the same town and never told you until your parents mentioned it did not sit right with you that day, but you let it slide because he was suffering. But he graduated from the same school? The same class?

You don't remember him. You have few friends other than Wendy and Jisoo, or rather acquaintances slash co-workers at the bar but that's about it. You've never been into socializing or even observing your surroundings all that much. And how that has come back to bite you in the ass.

You were right when you thought he looked familiar the day you met him for the first time, or not the first time.

Discomfort ceases your mental capacity to think, and it feels like you will throw up. Would it be right if you gather your belongings and leave? No, it'll be a dick move. It screams asshole behaviour; especially how intimate you were a few hours ago. You don't know what possesses you but you make a beeline for stairs and dash towards the main door but you find it locked, bolted with now keys in the vicinity.

What the fuck?

Are you overreacting? What if it's all in your head? What if Jungkook is harmless. The brighter side of your brain slowly connects the dots but your heart isn't letting anything make any sense as it thumps loud in your chest.

You run around, trying to find a backdoor or a room with an escape. You don't know what you're looking for at this point but all your questions are answered when you find a giant room in the back of the house, it's supposed to stay hidden from the ignorant eyes but yours were searching and searching.

There are three laptops propped on the table. You stare at your unconscious parents, through the screen, crammed in your not-so-comfortable single bed. Each laptop screen has a different view. One is showing the live surveillance of your apartment building's reception area, the other of your floor's corridors, and the most terrifying one is of your bedroom.

You are left frozen, your hands trembling when your minds deliver the connected dots to your conscious self. How and when did this happen? You're relieved to see them safe, but your safety has a huge question mark at the moment. You need to leave. Now.

When you glance around the room for a possible exit you find another proof of his insanity. There are sheets of paper piled on a table in the corner, you recognise it as its quality matches that of the letters sent by EAP, and baby pink in colour. You know the shade of colour was chosen to mock you. You find another sealed envelope by EAP, probably what he wanted to send you next.

You don't waste your time to read it and shove the envelope in your – Jungkook's shorts – that you are wearing. You'll read it later, even show it to the police when you apply for a restraining order and what-not against him. But now's not the time.

More sheets of paper fly and land on the floor when you messily try to gather proof. These ones have dialogues written on them.

"When I was on my way here, I saw an old couple arguing over ice cream. The old man wanted to eat scoops on scoops of vanilla ice cream, but the lady wanted to nope out of there. So, she kept his fake teeth away and asked, 'how will you eat now?' and he said, 'I don't need teeth to eat ice cream Velma!' and proceeded to eat the ice cream."

Another one reading, "You are treading on thin Ice. You might as well make me fall."

It's confusing at first, but once you read more of the dialogues you realise, they are words that Jungkook has said to you before. But they're written here with notes, on how to say it, when to say it, as if these lines were pre-planned. He hasn't said all of them, as they don't have a red tick mark on them. He has been waiting to use them in the future.

There's a death certificate—enclosed in a manila folder by the rest of the documents—of an all too familiar name, Jeon Da-Kyung.

Your head is spinning, the walls around you seem to cave in making you feel claustrophobic. You want to go back home. You want to be anywhere but here, under the roof of your stalker. How did you not see it coming?

All the red flags were right in front of you, from the timing to the circumstances. You were blinded by hope and trust. It's now crashing into million pieces and all you want to do is fall on your knees and cry. But you don't have time for that. Jungkook can wake up anytime now, you need to escape before he does.

You realise it's too late when you hear footsteps right behind you, your paranoia made you ignore his presence for many seconds when you could still run away but your body and your mind keep betraying you.

He stands by the doorsill, his bulky weight propped on the doorframe as he tilts his head, strands of hair falling on his sinister eyes.

He looks... disappointed.

The low baritone of his voice echoes in your ear, making goosebumps erupt on your skin when he says, "You shouldn't have done that, Buttercup."
