Catra's POV

I felt my insides crumble into a million pieces. Friends. Ugh, I want more!

"Yeah," I forced out before standing up.

"Ok! Still sorry though, let's go." She said holding my hand. We climbed outside before going to our lockers.

"So... can I still come over?" She asked shyly. I smiled & held her hand.

"Of course," She smiled before the bell went off. We parted & finished the school day up.

"Hey, Catra!" I turned my head before being embraced in a tight hug.

"H-Hey Scorpia, can you put me down?" I asked & she put me down. I felt my head & realized my beanie was gone.

"We meet again." I turned around & scoffed.

"Give it back Hordak," I said & he laughed with his brothers.

"I think that'll go in my collection of absolute shit! Take one of Adora's, add it to that room you have hm? Doesn't hurt for another artifact." He said & my brows furrowed before I snatched it back.

"Shut it! Go fuck another girl." I cursed before walking away with Scorpia.

"Too afraid to fight?" He called out but before I could turn around Scorpia held my hand.

"It's not worth it."

"Your right," I muttered before we left.

"Hey, Catra..." Adora's voice trailed off when she saw us.

"Hey Adora," I said before following her gaze. My hand was still linked. Eh, it's not like she cares.

"So Catra shall we go?" She asked pointing to my motorcycle.

"Oh yeah-"

"Wait Wildcat," I turned my head & saw Scorpia was beet red.

"Tomorrow uh do you want to hang out?" She asked nervously.

"Sure! Our usual coffee shop?" I asked & she nodded with a smile on her face.

"Great! See you soon!" I said unlinking out hands & going over to Adora.

"Bye Scorpia!" I said before giving Adora my helmet. We got on before I drove off with her hands around my waist. I know I should be used to it but I still blushed.

"Hey, Catra?"

"Hm?"

"What was with you & Scorpia?" She asked & I felt her legs against mine. I felt like I was about to faint. We are so close uggghhh- FOCUS!!!

"W-What do you mean?" I asked feeling my blush darken.

"You know... your hands." She finished quietly.

"She led me away from Hordak," I muttered before pulling up at my house.

"Oh... that's it? Like nothing er r-romantic?" She asked as I helped her with the helmet.

"What do you mean romantic?" I asked before she shook her head.

"Nothing!"

"You sure," I asked putting my hand on her cheek. She blushed before she smiled.

"I'm sure," I moved my hand & took my keys out only to realize the door was open. I looked up & smiled.

"Hey, Mrs. Weaver!" I waved as Adora approached me.

"Good evening girls, come in." She said stepping aside.

"I'll be in my office, you two have fun." She said going into her room. I closed the door & grabbed some Cheetos before going upstairs.

"Come on Adora!" I said & saw she was looking around.

"Adora?" We locked eyes before she grabbed some gushers & scurried towards me. We went into my room & sat down on the bean bags.

"Hey, you ok?" I asked before she faced me.

"Who me uh yep! Peachy!" She panicked & I slid off my bean bag.

"What's wrong? Was this about the romantic thing you mentioned earlier?" I asked & she lifted her knees, embarrassed.

"Let me guess... Glimmer?" I asked & she nodded.

"Ah, well you know how she is. Always shipping people & such." I said rolling my eyes. To my surprise, she laughed.

"Yeah, do you know that Bow likes her?" Adora asked before she slapped her hand over her mouth.

"Oh no, I wasn't supposed to say that!? Uh, don't tell anyone!" She panicked but I laughed.

"W-What's funny?"

"Because Glimmer likes Bow!" I said & she chuckled.

"Huh, that makes sense." She said before standing up.

"I gotta uh use the bathroom." She said before leaving. I stood up & started to set up the Nintendo switch.

Adora's POV

I tiptoed to the room next to hers. Wait what? That's such a small door!? I got this. I slammed into it & fell.

"Adora?!" Catra ran outside & saw me.

"Are you-" Suddenly the blood drained from her face.

"You ok-"

"C-Come out!" She urged holding her hand out.

"You-"

"Now." She said as I stood up. I turned my head & my eyes widened. I stepped past the broken woodchips as I looked around.

"Catra..."

"I-Its nothing don't worry about it!" She said but I approached the desk.

"Um, Catra, why do you have pictures of me? Are those notes!?" I asked before digging through her stuff.

"A-Adora those are private thoughts!" I heard her approaching me but I paid no mind until I found something.

"Catra what is all of this?" I asked facing her. She had tears in her eyes & she looked away.

"It was brainstorming. I-I didn't know how to tell you." She muttered before I looked back at the papers.

"Well, what did you want to tell me?"

"That... I- you-"

"Catra-"

"I love you!"
