Adora's POV

Bow & I talked a lot during class. About schoolwork, games, his crush aka Glimmer & much more. That was until the bell rang.

"I'll see you later Bow!" I waved before going to my next class period.

"Hey, Entrapta!" I said sitting next to her.

"Hey, Adora! How's Catra?" She asked still invested in whatever she was tinkering.

"Oh, she's good! I'll be going to her house later on!" I said feeling my cheeks heat up.

"Nice, don't go into the room next to hers," Entrapta said & I titled my head.

"What room?" I asked & her eyes widened.

"Gah!? Nothing!" She panicked before class started. Throughout science I couldn't focus much, my mind only thought of the room Entrapta mentioned. My train of thought was cut off by the sound of the bell.

"Have a good day, don't forget the homework!" The teacher called out as we left the room.

"Hey Entrapta, what room were you talking about?" I asked & she pointed in front of me.

"O-Oh hey Catra!" I said before she glared at Entrapta.

"Hey, Adora." She said through her teeth. She grabbed Entrapta's arm & dragged her away.

"See you at lunch!" She said before I waved.

"That was weird..."

"She's hiding something." I jumped & turned around.

"Glimmer!" I scolded & she chuckled.

"Hey, Adora! Do you have beef with me again?" She asked & I assumed she was talking about this morning.

"What? Of course not!" I waved my hand frantically.

"Are you sure? Is this about the $20 I stole?"

"I'm sure- wait you stole-"

"Nothing! So~ back to what we were talking about." She said attempting to change the subject.

"Hmph, I'll figure that out later," I said crossing my arms.

"But, Catra wanted to walk with me-"

"How many times do I have to tell you she has a crush on you!" She said before I blushed.

"N-No of course not, that... that would be uh weird~," I said rubbing my neck.

Catra's POV

I felt tears appear in the corner of my eyes before I pushed myself off of the wall & went to the cafeteria. Of course, she doesn't love me. I pushed the door open before going over to Scorpia.

"Heya Wildcat!"

"Hi Scorpia," I mumbled sitting down. I felt the gaze of the whole table making me blush.

"What's wrong?" She asked putting her hand on mine.

"Yeah, what happened?" Bow added before I sighed & lifted my head.

"Adora thinks me liking her is weird," I said & Scorpia frowned.

"Don't let her bring you down, you know there are other people that are out there," Scorpia said making me smile.

"Thanks, Scorpia,"

"Hey, Catra!" I turned my head & saw Adora coming over with Glimmer. I turned back around & scooched closer to Scorpia as she sat down.

"You ok?"

"No, because you said-" I slapped my hand over Scorpia's mouth.

"Nothing! Right Scorpia?" I asked removing my hand.

"Oh yeah!" Scorpia said & I sighed.

"Did I do something?" She asked as tears appeared in the corner of my eyes.

"No," I muttered quickly wiping them away.

"Catra-"

"I said no!" I snapped before putting my hands on my face.

"Sorry," I mumbled before standing up.

"I'm full," I said before walking out of the cafeteria.

Adora's POV

I watched my best friend leave.

"What did I do? I should go after her-"

"Adora, I think she wants to be alone," Perfuma said & I sat back down.

"But, what did I do?" I asked looking around. Glimmer gasped before looking at Bow. He nodded & she looked back at me.

"You know?! Tell me!" I urged but she sighed.

"Remember what we were talking about?" She asked & I nodded.

"Uh, I don't know how to say this without exposing her but Catra's offended that you think it's weird for you two to like each other." She finished & I sighed.

"Oh... wait isn't that lesbian?" I asked & she face-palmed.

"Yes," She muttered through her hands.

"I'll be back!" I said running off.

"Catra!" I called out before going into the abandoned classroom. We go there whenever we want to relax or we feel sad.

"Hey Catra," I said sitting down. She scooched away & that's when I heard her crying.

"Catra I'm sorry for what I said."

"Y-You know!?" She asked, slight panic in her voice.

"Yeah. I wanted to say that I'm not weirded out at all."

"Your not?" She asked before I fixed her beanie.

"Nope!"

"Oh, so does that mean we are..." She used her hands motioning towards us.

"Huh? What does that mean?"

"Together." She finished quietly before I hugged her.

"Aren't we already together right now?"

"Um, no Adora do you have any idea what I'm saying?" She asked pushing herself away.

"Glimmer said that you were offended when I said it's weird for you to like me. But I realized, with her help, that I hurt your feelings. You can like me because I like you." I said & she blushed before a smile appeared on her face.

"I didn't know," She muttered before I stood up.

"Yep! Wait is it normal for friends to like each other?" I asked for confirmation.
