Adora's POV

I could barely sleep last night so Glimmer let me sleep in her room, though I slept on the floor.

"Morning Adora!" I rubbed my eyes & looked up.

"Morning Glimmer," I muttered before standing up.

"Thanks for everything."

"It's no problem." She said hugging me. I hugged back before grabbing some clothes & showering. I went downstairs & toasted a bagel.

"Ready?" Glimmer asked & I nodded before following her outside. We drove to school & went inside. Glimmer went off with some of her friends while I walked alone.

"I'm so sorry for you." Some kid said I think his name was Jewelstar.

"Ok," I muttered continuing my walk. I took my stuff out & going to math.

"This must be really hard for you. I'm so sorry." The teacher whispered when she put the test on my desk.

"No actually it's quite easy," I said & she shrugged.

"Oh, ok then." She said walking away. What is with everyone today? I finished the test early & carried on with my day until lunch.

"Hey, guys!" I waved sitting down. They looked up & they seemed sad.

"What's wrong?" I asked & Bow sighed.

"Look we know you're upset, but you don't have to hide your pain under a fake smile-"

"What is going on!?" I asked while everyone looked at each other.

"Adora... Catra committed suicide yesterday."

"What!?" I asked as tears appeared in the corner of my eyes. Glimmer nodded & I felt horrible.

"I..." I couldn't talk. I felt a lump in my throat & my stomach felt like knots.

"Adora-"

"I have to go!" I said running out of the cafeteria. I ran all the way to her house & pushed the door open. Silence. I sighed before closing the door & going upstairs. I opened her door & saw that she hung herself.

"Hey," I waved slightly before closing the door.

"I-I know you can't hear me b-because your dead but... I am so sorry. This is all my fault! I didn't know how much you depended on me & now your dead." I cried before I held her hand.

"I... I still love you, more than friends. I just couldn't take it anymore, you were locking me up from everyone. I'm sorry, again." I said looking up. To my surprise, I noticed a faint blush on her face.

"Wait-" Suddenly her eyes opened up & she took the rope off.

"These people are idiots. Pays to look stuff up sometimes," She muttered unzipping her jacket & taking the rope off her stomach.

"That's all I needed to hear, welcome back babe." She said opening her arms. Shit. I ran to the door until she grabbed my waist & pulled me into a tight hug.

"You still, love me. Don't resist babe."

"I'm not your babe! How are you alive!?" I asked kicking her shin. She stumbled back before grabbing my hand & we both fell. I tried to get up but she wrapped her arms around my waist.

"Catra please stop!" I said trying to get up. She pulled me down & smiled.

"Why? You love me, do you not?" She asked as I elbowed her face.

"I don't think people lie to dead bodies babe." She whispered making me blush.

"I-I... I'm an idiot." I said letting my body go limp. She stood up & helped me up.

"What's wrong?" She asked putting her hand on my cheek.

"You're just going to lock me up, I can't do anything," I said before she smiled widely. Is she really falling for this?! I'll just run away while she tries to convince me to stay.

"Oh! Didn't know you'd give up so easily! Anyways, basement time babe-"

"THE HELL!? I WAS JOKING!!" I yelled & she seemed taken back.

"I-"

"You're a fucking psycho!" I shouted & she sighed.

"Well, if you won't go willing... then I'll take you myself!" She said coming towards me. I screamed & ran outside before she grabbed my arm & we fell down the stairs.

"Ow~, seriously babe?" She asked before I pushed her away. I ran into her basement & looked around.

"Aw babe~ Now my arms are sore~" I swallowed nervously before going deeper in. There were weapons on the wall & a huge cage in the center with a picture of me on it.

"Don't hide from me~" I looked around until I felt some hands on my face.

"Found you!" She said before laughing. I felt my eyes water while I thrashed around.

"Aw~ how cute. Don't run from me." She whispered & laughed until I elbowed her chest.

"Ow!" She dropped me before I pushed her against the wall. A loud thunk was heard before her body slid down the wall. I ran back upstairs before I turned around. She started to wake up before rubbing her head.

"Ugh, babe wait!" She stood up & came after me before I started running. Then I got tackled on the floor.

"You can't run forever." She whispered with the most terrifying smile I've ever seen. I closed my eyes before gripping her shoulders & rolling over.

"That was so hot." She said with a dark blush on her face. That's when I realized the position I'm in.

"I-I uh thank you?" I said before she smirked & gripped the top of my shirt.

"I know you can do something else that's hot." She whispered before I pushed her head against the ground & ran.

"P-Please, why are you running from me? I love you!" She said & I stopped near the door.

"Because you're crazy. I don't know how I didn't realize this earlier. Goodbye,"

"O-Oh, bye... Adora." She said sitting down.

"I thought... you loved me." She muttered looking down.

"Why did you do this?" I asked standing close to the door.

"Because I wanted you to be with me, so you wouldn't catch feelings for anyone else." She said closing the basement door.

"You thought I would cheat!?" I asked & she nodded slowly. I took a step towards her before pulling my leg back.

"You won't try anything if I come over right?" I asked & she shook her head. I slowly went over before sitting next to her.

"Catra, I would never cheat on you. My heart tells me to be with you." I said starting to blush. Her blush darkened before she looked at me with a sad smile.

"That's t-that's good to know. But it doesn't matter now, you can leave. Tell people how crazy & psychotic I am." She said hugging her knees.

"I won't do that... but would you take a second cha-"

"Yes! Yes yes, thank you ba- er Adora!" She said hugging me. I chuckled before hugging her back.

"I believe in you Catra."
