It feels like I've been in this hospital for ages.

The doctors said that I lost quite a bit if weight and needed to be monitored.

All this time passed and still won't tell me anything about Kenyon, not if he lived, not if he died, nothing.

One thing is for sure I was glad to see my family again.

"Mom!" I shouted and wrapped my arms around her.

"Hey sweety."

Ever since I've come back she did everything, she even slept in the hospital a few times.

I apologized numerous times, because none of this would've happened if I had just listened to them! They dismissed it several times saying that they were just glad to have me home.

I told them about Kenyon and about how he's changed so much as a person over this experience, and how he risked his life for me.

"Have you heard anything mom, have they told you anything?"

Her face instantly dropped.

Tears welded up in my eyes.

"What happened mom? What happened to him?"

"Katie baby there's something I have to tell you."

4 months later

I placed my hand on the doorknob nerves cascading through my body.

"Come on Katie! You can do this, you can do this, you can do this." I reassured myself and opened the door.

I didn't look for the bed right away, my eyes wandered around the room for a bit.

"Wow when they said I am having a visitor, they never told me that I was having such a beautiful one."

My eyes shot up and there he was smiling his usual movie star smile.

"Well I thought it would be nice for you to see something beautiful looking after you've been asleep for five months!"

"As much as your face is hard to forget I'm sorry I don't remember you, see apparently I've been in an accident and I don't remember anything from the past year so if you go to my school and we're friends excuse me if I don't remember."

"Oh yeah we were friends don't worry, we would play long games of Monopoly, talk for hours, you even took me on a date one time."

"Oh yeah?!"

"Yep, we went to the boardwalk and you won me a teddy bear. His name is Kenny."

"Well I must've had good sense within the past year to go after a girl like you."

"Oh you aren't so bad yourself."

"Oh I almost forgot where are my manners!" he said.

He held out his hand and gave me the brightest smile in the world.

"Hey I'm Kenyon"

I smiled back and took his hand.

"Katie"
