Feelings and emotions both stem from thoughts, and can both cause actions. When someone has feelings for someone else, people can have many emotions at one time. What if someone thought they were in love but there was someone else out there that was waiting for them, but the two never met? What even is love? It's a strange concept, isn't it? Why has everyone come to believe that humans love from the heart? Do we think that love is such an overpowering existence that it deserves to be looked at from a perspective and dimension where impossible events occur? Is it not obvious that we love from the mind? The heart is simply an organ which pumps blood through the body, and therefore has no ability to have emotions in any way. Maybe it's easier for humans to blame their heart for the stupid things their brain does on the quest for love. How do we even know what love is or if we've felt it? Is there a sign that says "Welcome to Love"? Such a weird thing love is.

Why does the complexity of the human mind haunt us?
Fellow organisms that live here on Earth with us also have the ability to feel and think certain things. However, the human mind is the most complex organ on the planet. It controls everything we do. Other living things, like worms, for example, do not have a sense of sight, like humans do. Their mind doesn't even have the complexity to understand what their lives would be like if they could see. They aren't in a world of sight. Some worms have been born with a genetic mutation that allows them to see. This concept makes me wonder. Perhaps some humans, rare humans, have mutated to have another sense; love.

Love makes me really sad too. It seems to make most people happy, but when I know I can't have someone, it's like I know I'm going to get hurt so it just tears me up instead.
