Taehyung sobbed softly. He put a palm on his mouth to muffle the sounds in order to not wake Laurance or his sister up. That'll be embarrassing as hell.

Why was he crying though?

Sure, the letter was very touching but this was not the reason he was pouring rains from his eyes in the middle of the night on an almost stranger's bed.
The reason is what the letter made him feel about the writer of the same.

He always knew he loved Jungkook.
What he just discovered was that he was in love with jungkook.

Jungkook would freak out!! Hell, Taehyung was himself freaking out but the other would sure have a panic attack!
The way he reacted only knowing that taehyung liked men should be a foreshadow enough of what will happen when he comes to know Taehyung is in love with him.

He would end everything they've ever had let alone return his feelings.

I'm so screwed.

Taehyung wailed one more time, now louder, forgetting he was not at his own place. Not like he can cry loudly at his own place. Jungkook would never let that happen.

A soft knock was heard on the door before it opened slowly revealing Laurance's face peek in slowly.
"Hey I heard someth- Hyung oh my god!?!" Laurance quickly locked the door after getting in and ran to Taehyung and engulfed him in a hug. No questions asked.

Taehyung cried his heart out for a good ten minutes and then calmed down. Never withdrawing from the hug.

When he regained his composure, he got up from Laurance's shoulder and wiped his face with the back of his hands.
He sniffled one last time before looking up at the younger.

"Laurance.. I'm sorry I.. "

"Call me Laurie. Everyone I've ever liked has been forced to call me that. And never apologize for your emotions hyung. Only you know what you're going through and only you will decide how you wanna react to it. "

"Are you still sure you're 23?"

"Unless my mother lied to me, yes."

Taehyung nodded looking down at his lap at the, now folded, letter and placed it back into the envelope as his eyes start to water again.

"Laurie.. I... I've ruined everything. He's gonna run away. I'm gonna run away. This is the end of the best thing in my life. This is the end of the only thing in my life. I.. I don't.." he covered his face with both his hands.

"Hey.. sshh.. Wanna go out for a drive?"

"huh? "

"Come-on take your keys and coat. We're going for a drive."

Taehyung didn't argue and silently picked up the mentioned things and his phone.

It was windy outside making both the males wince. Laurie entered the location on the GPS and asked taehyung to follow it. He did.

"I don't get it. You realized that you love Jungkook. How is that the end of a friendship." Laurie stuffed his face with the potato chips he brought for the drive and then brought one in front of taehyung's mouth, which the other took.

"He's straight."

"Yeah okay, you said that like, i don't know, one hundred times. But that would result you being sad about your feelings not being returned. Take left. Not you worrying about your friendship of more than half of your life ending."

"That is how Koo is. He reacts to such things in extreme levels. He didn't even take me coming out to him well. Imagine what he'd do if I tell him that I'm in love with him."

"Is he homophobic or something?"

"No, no. We.. More like he.. Has more than a few friends who're gay. One of them got married and koo was the cupid behind them getting together."

"Okayyyy. What do you plan on doing about it."

"Hide in your den as long as I can. Avoid his existence. Avoid my feelings."

"So you're gonna make him suffer without even telling him why? Are you sure you're 26?"

Taehyung looked at the younger

He was right. Damn it! Why is he always right?

"What do you propose I do?"

"Just drive."

And he did. Silently driving to a location unknown to taehyung with only the sound of both of them munching the crisps. No music, only the loud orchestra of thoughts running a marathon in older's head.

"A cliff? Really?" Taehyung grimaced getting out of the car when the cold breeze slapped his cheeks.

"It's therapeutic. Come-on that's our spot." younger enthusiasticly pointed at an area.

It was a rouge cliff, probably abandoned from the preying eyes of the world. Uneven patches of grass with solutters of luttle lavender, pink, yellow and saffron flowers that taehyung didn't know the name of, botany not being his strong suit. One of them is little daffodil bulbs though, he thinks.

The wind was chilly, but not numbing. Just the right amount to cool down the agonizing thoughts that were burning his inside.

Breaking out of his thoughts he turned to see what Laurance was upto and got surprised at how the younger had now spread a blanket on the ground that was damp from dew.

He took out another from the little bag he was carrying and gestured taehyung to come over.

Taehyung took off his shoes and climbed on the blanket. "How often do you come here to have a bag already packed?"

"This is my escape zone. Oli knows I go somewhere when I'm down but even she hasn't seen this place. I must like you way too much to bring you here."

Laurie put his head on taehyung's straightened out legs that were crossed one over the other, his own weight on his arms that were placed beside his hips.

Taehyung looked at the night sky and noticed how there were more stars than the sky in the city. The moon, which was full today, the only illumination in the green.

"You have pretty feet. Makes me want to touch them." Laurie interrupted taehyung's thoughts.

"Do you have some kinda foot fetish?"

"No, only beauty admiration habit."

"I think I'm gonna have to move out from the house. That's the only solution I can think of." Taehyung's hand instinctively went to finger comb through Laurie's hair, younger sighing with a light smile and closed his eyes.

"Don't be silly. You just have a truck of emotions that hit you and left you overwhelmed. Oli noona will be gone one week, come back for two days then be gone again for another three weeks. You can stay at mine for as long as you want. Just calm yourself down and peacefully figure out whatever you want to do."

"Are this nice to all the strangers you go on a blind date with? "

"Blind date. Right." Laurie snickers lightly, eyes still closed as if relaxed from taehyung's hand in his hair. "You remember the annual party at my office four months back? "

"Ofcourse, it was a horrible night. Hobi hyung couldn't go so i was Yoonie hyung's plus one, who very courteously ditched me the moment we entered. I spent the entire night sitting alone, because I can't talk to new people, at the bar stool with a-"

"-with a single glass of scotch all night. I was right across. Looking at you the entire time. Creepy, i know. But i couldn't help it. I didn't even know something so etheral as yourself existed in the world. I was mesmerized by your handsomeness, so much so that i couldn't take my eyes off of you. I still can't." saying this he gently opened his eyes looking into taehyung's who was blushing so furiously that even the dim moonlight reflected on the beautiful coral pink of his cheeks.

"Stop saying such things. You're making me blush. And so this only a blind date from one side?"

"Yeah. Next day I looked every department of my office to look for the embodiment of godly and someone i was crushing on so bad but couldn't find you coming to a conclusion that you were somebody's plus one, hence taken, which wasn't a surprise. But when I saw yoongi hyung's instagram post with you a month later i ran to him asking about but was crushed the second time when he told me you were straight."
Taehyung chuckled in his deep voice reminiscing about how he thought he was but it only took ome date to wash that off.
"But then last week Yoongi hyung asked me if I wanted to go on a date with you. And I'm gonna be honest with you, i almost passed out."

Taehyung gave a big laugh at this throwing his head back continuing to stroke gently and Laurance's hair.
"Even Olivia was kinda worried for me when i was freaking out before the date. I ruined my room finding something to wear."

"Okay stoppp" Taehyung's blood rushed to his face and he covered it with his hand.

Laurie took his hand away and looked him in the eye. "It's sad you don't realize what you are. Someone who is the luckiest guy in the world to be designated with your love deserves to know. You should tell him, but even he doesn't want to return it, know that you are worth having the world at your feet. I would do it gladly."

Taehyung heart tugged at his words and he interlaced thier fingers, slowly bending down towards his lap. Laurie moved upwards, meeting halfway.
Their lips touched in the most innocent kiss. A kiss filled with thankfulness from the older to the younger for saying everything he didn't know he needed to hear, and thankfulness from the younger too, to the older for well, existing.
