Decided to publish some poetry from like 2 years ago...so XD here it is

Everyone writes poems in dark
And always forgets the light
But then I found a philosophy so stark
One simple and serene night.

Optimism; it's really a thing
Just take a step outside
Feel the breeze and let your heart sing
And in the earth's nature confide.

The grass is green
The sky is blue
Don't let stress go unseen
Shout out your worries and I'll listen to you

And if you cry?
So what?
As do I.
Don't let the door of faith shut!

We all get down
But we're capable of standing up
We can reclaim the crown
Isn't that enough?

And when apathy creeps in
And you're recalcitrant about that somber thought
Optimism isn't a sin
Don't stay distraught

Know that I'm here for you
Know that I care
I may not know what you've been through
But I'll listen if you'd like to share

Come cry on my shoulder
Don't be shy
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
And there is optimism In my eyes.

Don't be afraid of the dark
And please don't run and hide
If you're as lost as Lewis and Clark
Well even they had a guide.

The world isn't that bad
As I hope I have shown
And I believe we can change this world for the better
Through acts of optimism alone.

Optimism isn't so bad
Poets should give it some sight
But all I have to say is I'm glad
You're all listening to my voice tonight
