     SHE WAS ONCE alive. She remembers life - tenderness and warmth etched into her skin. She remembers feeling safe in a world gone mad. That was before the darkness swallowed her whole. She no longer felt safe as needle after needle fed nameless fluids into her bloodstream, setting her veins jumping and organs alight. She no longer felt safe when she watched her friends disappear one by one like clockwork. She no longer felt safe when they sent her up to die. She became hollow, housing a distant memory of a radiant little girl within her shell.

     Ria is now surviving. Stone walls conceal her freedom - but what lies after them? The Glade is her temporary safety. The Glade is her temporary home. She uses temporary because a deep yearning stirs inside of her for something she's forgotten. She knows must fight to take back what's rightfully hers. She must fight to save herself and her friends. She must fight to feel alive again and release the trapped soul inside of her. No matter what it takes.
