Draco stood at the stairs leading into the dungeon. He was waiting for you. He had been standing there for awhile and had lost all hope of you showing up. He should've known you weren't going to come. He turned around and started walking away.

'You better not be leaving without me.'

Draco turned around. He saw you heading down the stairs in the only dress you owned. He could see that it was old but it looked great on you. Tight in some places because you got it awhile ago. But tight in.. the right places.You looked at him. He was wearing a suit. Black. He looked very handsome in it.

'You made it.' He smiled. 'You look great.'

'Really? It's old. I was afraid it was too small.' You smiled while stepping of the last step of the stairs.

Draco caught himself inspecting you. He quickly met your eyes.

'Let's go?' You asked.

You started walking with him towards the party.

'Have you had alcohol before?' You asked.

'Yes. I think I've done a lot more things than you.' He laughed.

'On the hunt for ladies tonight then.' You joked.

'It's been awhile but no.' He grinned. 'I have more important things to do in my life, right now at least.' Draco smiled. 'I don't know who's going to be here, by the way. I know your friends aren't here.. but I don't know how many people you'll know.'

'It's alright. I'll manage.'

Draco took you to the party. It was a lot to take in. The room was decorated with a lot of Christmas decorations. There was silver and white Christmas garlands against the ceiling. A massive tree was standing the corner, completely decorated and lit up. Along the walls were lights with Christmas ornaments and the tables were filled with fake snow and Christmas centre pieces. Loud music was blasting and there was a massive table against the back wall with food and drinks.

'Draco! There you are.'

You watched as Pansy swung her arms around Draco and forced him to hug her. You didn't want her to see you with Draco so you decided to take that opportunity to slip away. You decided to wonder around a bit.

'Oh thank god she left.' Pansy laughed as she let Draco go.

Draco looked around. He didn't even notice you left.

'You're spending way too much time with..' She started. 'That.' She spoke with a face of disgust.

'I invited her.' Draco sighed. 'Excuse me, I have to go find her.'

Draco tried to get away but Pansy grabbed onto him.

'No! She's a filthy half-blood Hufflepuff, let's dance.'

She dragged him to the dancefloor. You were standing near the drinks table. They served very nice fruity drinks. You had 3 of those and some food as the night progressed. You didn't really know anyone here.

Draco had tried for the past hour to get away from Pansy. It was frustrating to him.

'I'm going to get a drink.' He said.

'Get me one too!' Pansy smiled.

Draco ran over to the drinks where he found you.

'Y/N.' He smiled.

Draco grabbed a bottle of fire whiskey and poured himself some.

'Got away from Pansy?' You asked.

'I'm so sorry for leaving you alone.'

'It's alright. The food is good and these drinks. Amazing.'

Draco looked at the cup you were holding.

'Y/N..' He said. 'You have never had a drink before, right?' He asked.

'No. But don't worry. This is very fruity.'

'Y/N.. that's a cocktail. It has alcohol in it. You just don't taste it very well.'

You looked at your glass in shock. You didn't know.

'How many-'

'4.' You just replied.

Draco started laughing as you finished your drink and put it down.

'As a first time drinker.. I'll give you an hour before that kicks in.'

'Shit!' You exclaimed. 'Shit, Shit, Shit.'

Draco laughed and grabbed himself another glass.

'Seems like I have to catch up.' He grinned while chugging his glass back.

Draco was right. Within the hour the drink started to flow to your head. You were dizzy and very jolly.

'Dracoooo!' You smiled. 'Let's danceeee. I want to see you moveeeee.'

Draco got up. You grabbed his hand and pulled him to the dancefloor. The music was very upbeat and great to dance to. You let yourself go completely. You also didn't have the ability to be embarrassed or think straight.

Draco smiled as he watched you. He was mesmerised by you. The way you moved, the way you looked. He wasn't even drunk. A little tipsy, yes.. not drunk.

You turned around and continued dancing. Draco couldn't help himself. He walked over to you and started dancing behind you. When you turned around he was very close to you. You  wrapped your arms around his neck and pressed your body against his while you continued dancing.

'I think it's time we get you to bed.' Draco spoke in your ear.

'Is it?' You asked, slurring your words a little.

Draco moved his hands onto your hips as he had to stop himself from doing anything you or him might regret.

Draco let you go and grabbed your hand. You were so drunk that you couldn't even notice Pansy who was fuming in the background while looking at you two. You used his hand to spin around and pushed your back against him. Draco grinned and just let it happen for a moment, before guiding you to the exit.

You kept bumping into him and moving a little from side to side as you walked. Draco tried to get you to walk straight by wrapping an arm around your waist.

'Thank you for.. inviting me.' You giggled.

'I owed you. For all the help.' He smiled.

Draco managed to get you to the hufflepuff common room.

'I can't go in. People will-'

'Yes you can. Don't be a pussy.' You laughed.

You dragged him into the common room.

'Y/N, I can't go into the girls dorm. The stairs won't let boys up.'

'Good thing that you're with me. Just use the steps at the same time as me.' You said while pointing at your head. 'Big brain.'

Draco couldn't believe that that actually worked until he actually made it up there. You took him to your room. Draco let you go and closed the door behind him. He turned around and you were standing there, close to him.

'You know you're very handsome for an idiot.' You laughed.

'Go to bed, Y/N. You're going to regret this.'

'No, no I won't. I like you.' You said.

You moved your face close to his. He was taller than you were, so you looked up at him with those damn innocent eyes. Before he knew it, your lips were against his. Draco held you tightly as he kissed you back.. but only for a moment. He pulled back and looked at you,  smile slowly creeping up on your face.

'Take of your shoes and go to bed.' He said.

You nodded and took of your shoes before sitting down on your bed. Draco helped you to lay down and gently pulled the covers over you.

'Thank you.' You smiled.

'No problem.'
