Nickels POV:

Balloon and me left the sand castles cause we were bored, for some reason, I just can't stop thinking about how what I was thinking earlier-

"AugahaugHh"

"Woah are you okay!?" Balloon said with his cute eyes, STOP, great god. I should just ask him out, there is that restaurant I really wanted to go to. I look at Balloon and realize I haven't answered his question.

"Uh- yeah im alright just annoyed by something!" I say rapidly.

"Oh alright!"

We continue walking around trying to find something to do, when I look at him and get ready to ask him, ... yeah not doing that today. Either way, we continue looking around until we find something.

Balloon's pov:

Nickel and me were walking around trying to find mit what to do, I can't look at him anymore for obvious reasons. I'm not going to ask him out anytime soon so I just hope that he does it soon. He probably doesn't like me though, sigh.

"Hey Balloon, does it look like it's about rain? Nickel states randomly"

I look up to decide my decision and the moment I look up it starts raining, Nickel and me serves into the nearest house which is coincidentally his.

"What now?" I say
"Well, I'm going to sleep, hope Mephone doesn't make us go outside now." Nickel says

"Do you have a sleeping bag or something so I can sleep?

" Nah, I don't really have visitors." Nickel says as he lays down on his bed and turns around

I sit down next to him and lay down do, ... wait why the fuck did I do that, I say as my face turns warm and bright red, I turn around and see Nickel blushing a little.

Yeah I ain't blind.

Anyways,

We kinda just sat there, hugging each other as I was about to fall asleep I heard Nickel say

"I love you."
