(TW for a little bit of implied pen x pencil btw,for the angst)

Pen was sitting on the grass,watching blocky play a prank on woody for the 70th time,before he noticed eraser sit next to him

"Hi eraser! What's up?" He asked cheerfully,always happy to see his pal.

"Hm? Oh nothing,just wanted to sit with you." He replied.

"Alright then!" Pen said,crossing his legs.

Eventually though,Golfball walked over

"Eraser! I had a question for you." She said,pointing a foot at him.

He rolled his eyes,and looked at her "what?"

"Why do you only care about pen? You never hang with anyone else expect pen."

"Uh,what do you mean?" Eraser crossed his arms,annoyed. Pen was also curious what she meant

"Well,I've gathered research,and discovered you definitely are with pen more than anyone else,and you don't seem bored to talk with him...so I concluded You probably have a-"

but before Golfball could continue,blocky kicked her into the sky. Eraser let out a small sigh of relief. "Thanks,blocky."

"No problem eraser." Blocky replied,before he walked off.

Pen was confused "what was she about to say? You have a what?"

Eraser thought of an excuse "oh uh...who knows what she was about to say? Haha..."

Pen thought for a second,before shrugging. It couldn't be super serious of eraser said it wasn't...

The two just sat there together. Pen didn't notice,but eraser got slightly closer to him.

(Later...)

[POV: Eraser]

I was walking around the grass,when I noticed pen talking with...pencil. 

I wasn't jealous of them,I couldn't care less. I just didn't like pencil that much. She was slightly irritating. But I felt my eye twitch when I notice her kiss pens cheek. Why'd she do that? And pen giggled and blushed from it...

I didn't like it. Not one bit. I also noticed match watching this happen,and she seemed just annoyed as me at this. We both walked over,and grabbed our best friends,pulling the two away from each other.

Pen blinked as I pulled him away from pencil,and match pulled her away from pen. When we were a little further away, I stopped and looked at pen.

"Why'd you do that,eraser?" He asked, confused.

"Because I don't trust pencil. She probably wouldn't treat you right."

"How would you know?" Pen raised an eyebrow,crossing his arms*

"Because of her...personality. You've seen how she treats her alliances,she's bad news."

Pen grumbled a little "I thought you didn't care about that...so why now?"

"Because...-" 

I started,before Golfball showed up and cut me off. "Eraser! There you are!"

Oh no. She was gonna ask the question.

"So,earlier,I was trying to say I concluded...

You have a crush on pen."

Pen stared at Golfball,his mouth wide open. "Pff,what? Eraser doesn't have a crush on me!...eraser?"

[POV: Pen]

"...eraser?" I looked at him. He was sweating and blushing slightly.

"Uh...no." Eraser laughed a little,trying to play it off "I don't have a crush on pen! That's ridiculous! We're...just friends."

Golfball raised an eyebrow,before she replied "you're very clearly lying. But I'll let you two sort that out." She walked away,as I looked at eraser.

I...did he...really like me like that? My heart fluttered slightly when I thought of it.

"...eraser..."

"No,no pen...don't say it." Eraser replied,rubbing his arm.

"No,eraser..." I grab his hand,and hold it in mine "it's okay if you have a crush on me...I...like you too." I smile.

He took a moment to process what I said,before replying "wait,really?"

"Yes really! I like you too!" I reply,a little more enthusiastically.

He smiled at me a little,before me and him sat on the grass together,as he held me close to him.

"...I'm glad." He said,closing his eyes as we embraced each other.

(Wow. I actually took longer than I thought on this one.)
