ugh pls kill me

    It's been a month. It's been a whole month since she had come out to her alliance.

//Omg, Bubble, you're a lesbian!?//

//That's so sweet!//

//I never would've thought...//

//Well, took ya long enough to come out!//

And, to her surprise, her friends took the news pretty well, and accepted her for who she was. And, boy, was Bubble ever so happy.

Although, out of all the FreeSmarts alliance members, Ruby was the one who had the most interesting reaction towards Bubble's big surprise.

//Bubble, that's so sweet! I'm happy that you had the courage to say something like that to us!//

Now, yes, that is a nice thing to say, but the tone, the way it was spoken just intrigued Bubble even more.

"Strange," Bubble had muttered to herself. "how Ruby could say such a thing like that. But why should I worry? As long as she accepts me, I'm fine."

No, she was more than just fine. She was definitely  more than just fine.

Other than the fact that she was a lil' gay ball of pride, the dark skinned teen had another secret. Which, was that she had this major crush on Ruby.

Who ever thought it'd be possible to be so gay towards your best friend? And with the thought of Ruby accepting Bubble for who she was, it just raised her hopes even more.

"Oh gosh, she might even like me in return," Bubble would always remind herself, which made her heart race faster than a cheetah, and her face burn to an extreme.

Once, Bubble even told Pencil about her crush on Ruby. Oh, what an answer had she received.

"OH MY SHIT, REALLY!!? Bubble, that is so cute! Ah! Ok, there has got  to be way to pair you two up! Like, seriously, I kinda low-key wondered if you had a thing for her, but I never thought to be proven right. This is great! I just gotta-"

"Pencil! Please, keep it down!"

"Oh, sorry!"

After calming herself, Pencil gently explained to Bubble how she could tell Ruby that she had feelings for her. Bubble listened, but was a bit skeptical on the idea.

"Uh, Pencil, are you sure that's necessary?" she asked the blonde, blushing just a tad bit as she thought more and more about the idea.

Pencil gave Bubble a stern look. "Of course! Do you have any other idea of catching someone's attention?"

So, Bubble just rolled with it. She followed Pencil's idea.

But, damn, was it an embarrassing one.

Alright, so Pencil's idea was broken down into steps, which Bubble carefully followed.

//Step one- leave Ruby a note saying that you gotta meet up with her somewhere. Anywhere works, really. Just include a specific date and time.//

Bubble had thoroughly thought out and wrote down the note, making sure to give out a specific place to meet out. Then, she quickly proceeded to hand over the note to Ruby.

"H-here, Ruby," Bubble had stuttered, as she passed the note to the redhead she loved.

Ruby grasped the note. "Oh, ok, thank-"

Bubble had sped off, without even glancing back.

//Step two- wear something... revealing, captivating. Naughty. It will be able to catch Ruby's attention, and she'll be more focused on you.//

Now that was the part where Bubble had second thoughts. But, there was no arguing with Pencil, so she just went with it. Although, of course, she needed help. So Bubble sought out for Match; the expert in clothing.

"Oh, you want revealing, eh?" Match questioned deviously. "I can totally help you."

In no time, Match had given Bubble some of the most attractive pieces of clothing ever. Or, at least, that was Bubble's opinion, since she had never wore anything like what she was about to wear before.

For the top, a long sleeved turtle neck crop-top, with shoulders exposed. For the bottom, sleek low-waist jeans. And for shoes, a pair of heeled boots. Match even tossed in some accessories, like matching earrings and a ring.

But, to make things much more interesting, all of that was colored black. Of all colors, she chose black.

"It is said that the color black can make you look thinner, so, like, I had to just, like, get everything in black!" Match proudly explained, making Bubble feel kind of uncomfortable.

"Oh, and by the way," Match added on. "I can provide you with a laced bra and panty, just if things get kinky~."

Bubble furiously blushed at that comment, and just went off to change.

//Step three- spark a random conversation, before you tell her you like her. You want to make her feel comfortable, not awkward, so you can't just jump straight to the point. Come up with any conversation! Just don't let it be a weird one.//

Bubble practically spent all day thinking of a good conversation, but nothing worked. Eventually, she asked Book for help.

"What you want is a decent, casual conversation," Book began explaining to her. Bubble carefully listened.

"You need a conversation that can keep her interested, something that'll want her to continue listening. Like, per say, some dramatic news, or a spreading rumor."

Bubble then understood what she could bring up. Thanking Book for her advice, Bubble walked off, and prepared for the final step.

//Step four, the last step- put everything together, wait for her to arrive, and just start talking. Finally, after some time, let the truth come out. How will she react? Well, I don't know. But, I have my fingers crossed for you. So, good luck!//

It was around eight at night, and Bubble was dressed to almost perfection. She even had her hair down for such an occasion. She was patiently waiting for Ruby behind the FreeSmarts Super Van, which was parked outside their mansion. (A/N: yes i gave them a mansion, now please shut. thank)

At first, Bubble was nervous. All her confidence had faded away, and the doubts flooded in.

"What if she doesn't like me? I could be making a big mistake..... Oh no, something like that better not happen-"

"Hey Bubble!"

Ruby had arrived. And Bubble was startled by her sudden appearance.

"Oh, h-hey Ruby! So uh, you came here pretty early.."

"Yeah! I mean, the time you told me to come was kinda late, and I was sorta getting impatient. So, what do you have to tell me? Oh, by the way, I love what you're wearing! You look so cute! Are you headin' off to a party or something?"

Bubble was blushing madly, but luckily it was dark, so Ruby couldn't notice. Might as well get things over with..

Taking a deep breath, Bubble began to talk with Ruby. "Well, I wanted to talk to you about something. Have you heard that Flower actually asked out Blocky? Like on a date?"

Ruby let out a surprised gasp. "Seriously? Oh my oxygen, that's grand news! How do you know that?"

Bubble began to relax a little. "It's something that started to spread, all thanks to Snowball. He kept on running his mouth about it. Which tells me that his funeral might be planned soon."

That little joke made Ruby giggle, which Bubble thought was cute. "Wow, that's quite the shocker. I can't believe I never heard about it, until now of course. So, is that the only thing you wanted to talk about?"

Shit. The conversation was too short, Bubble had realized. Now was the time she could improvise, but she had no ideas.

"Uh, Bubble?" Ruby had a worried look on her face, which stressed Bubble out even more.

But, finally, Bubble caved in. "Actually, Ruby, I..... I have to confess something."

Ruby's gaze seemed to adjust in a way to show that she was now deeply interested. Bubble was glad that her crush was listening, and actually cared about what she was saying.

"I.... oh god, how can I say this? Ruby, I-"

"You like me? I know, Bubble."

That's when her heart nearly stopped. Bubble was dumbfounded, looking like if she was just struck by lightning. "B-but.. But how?!"

Ruby smirked, and then chuckled. "Well, for starters, the note kind of gave me a clue to where this was gonna head towards. Next, look at what you're wearing! You are obviously trying to impress me. Lastly, just sort of just dropped hints at me, oblivious ones towards you, but obvious ones towards me."

For some reason, Bubble felt like crying. She had teared up already, and was feeling weak. Ruby had noticed this.

"Hey, hey, Bubble, you ok? Are you about to cry?"

And that's when she broke into tears.

Without any hesitation, Ruby hugged Bubble tightly, and gently caressed her hair. "Hey, it's ok... but, what's wrong?"

Through sniffs, Bubble lightly muttered, "Well.. i-it's just th-that I... I tried so hard to t-tell you.... but you just saw right through me... so easily..."

Suddenly, Ruby pushed away from Bubble, and gave her a soft smile. "Bubble, I know you tried, and I'm glad you did, because now I can say that I like you back."

The tears then stopped coming down from Bubble's face. "Wait... really?"

The kind redhead nodded, and then settled herself closer towards Bubble. Now things were getting more interested.

"Actually, I take back on what I said," Ruby spoke. "I love you, Bubble. 'Like' is such a weak way of putting it."

Bubble gave Ruby a smirk, and then slowly began pushing her backwards. "Well, I love you too."

Now both females were blushing, but never parted their gaze from one another. Now up to this point, Bubble had Ruby pinned against the FreeSmarts van, and wasn't planning on losing her grip.

And that's when Ruby did the brave act of kissing Bubble first. To the both of them, it was such a good feeling, like seeing the Fourth of July fireworks going off for the first time.

But, that wasn't enough, for either of them. Attempting to spice things up, Bubble went for the famous french kiss, which surely heated things up.

About 3 minutes had passed, and that's when they finally decided to push apart.

Gasping for air, Bubble stared at Ruby, as Ruby did the same. Then, they both snickered, which grew into a giggle, which grew into laughter.

"Oh wow, I never thought I'd share my first kiss like that," Ruby blurted out. Bubble agreed with her (though she kept her arms around Ruby's waist).

Suddenly, a thought came into Bubble's mind. A mischievous smirk grew on her face. "So, how many rounds can we pull off in one night?~"

Ruby blushed at such a dirty idea.... but she never disagreed. "I guess we'll have to find out."

BONUS:

    Ice Cube was watching Ruby and Bubble make out from a distance, writing down, in a notebook she had, repeatedly, "wow that's gay".
