Hashirama

Kakashi wants me dead. The little boy I helped nurture and cared for since he was a baby actually wants me dead and it's all because he thinks I'm a monster. I thought to myself as I sat alone in my room.

He thinks I'm actually capable of killing a innocent child who's done nothing wrong. The idea makes me sick to my stomach. All I want is for my babies to go to good-loving homes. Why would I kill them after they've been adopted?

I hid my face in my hands and wept.

Don't cry love, everything will be fine. I promise you that

"Who are you"? I whispered.

Ryuko

I arrived home late that night. I took my shoes off at the door and let me hair loose as I made my way inside. I smiled as I was immediately hit with the smell of food cooking on the stove and knew my boyfriend was here. I smiled as I made my way to him, wrapped my arms around him from behind and rested my head against his back.

"Welcome home Ryu". I could hear the smile in his voice. "Mmm something smells good". "I'm making one of your many favorites". "Can't wait". "Are you allowed to drink tonight"? "One glass won't hurt". "Yes ma'am".

I took my seat at the kitchen island and waited until everything was ready. He fixed us each a glass of whiskey and we talked while the food cooked. "How was work my love"? "Stressful. We're still trying to find Hashirama and the kids as well as trying to find out who's behind the child murders at Grace field and to make matters worse I think Madara's reaching his breaking point". I said taking a sip.

"What makes you say that"? "I can see it in his eyes when I look at him. If it doesn't involve Stone his eyes are lifeless and dull. Hashirama was everything to him. He can't go on much longer without him". I said looking down into my glass.

He placed his hand on my knee and smiled gently. "I know you're scared for your brother but we can't give up hope just yet. I know this case has been a stressful one for you that's why I decided to help". "Help how"? "I decided to adopt one of the kids from there". "Thank you Jellal". I said smiling warmly.

Kakashi

"But even if Obito manages to keep papa busy what about sister Mito"? Asuma asked while the four of us walked through the forest together. "Yeah if she finds out we'll be shipped out immediately right"? Kurenai asked. "Don't worry I have an Idea". I said. But as soon as I said that sister Mito popped out from behind a tree and stood in front of us.

"I saw it you know". Rin gasped. "That's right children, I saw everything. All of of you were talking last night in. The. Dining. Hall". She said with that creepy smile on her face as always. "The ones who know the secret about this house are Kakashi, Obito, Rin, Asuma and Kurenai, five of you total. So, you want to join forces"?

Neither of us said anything.

"Are you aware of the management systemem here? Girls who meet certain conditions and live till the age of twelve are usually presented with two different paths when their about to be shipped out. Continue and die or aim to become a mom"? She said while walking around us.

"What conditions"? Asuma asked. "High test scores and the mom's recommendation. Meet those requirements and it's possible to survive without escaping, if your a girl". "Only girls? What about papa then"? Rin asked. "Your papa is a special case although I don't recommend it.

They make it so you're never allowed to leave the premise. They have cameras constantly watching you and have snippers ready to kill you on sight if you step one foot outside without permission". "We were right about not being able to kill them". I said.

"That's why I wanna live in the best way this place has to offer, even if it's fake. Being a mom means you get to feel human but to achieve that I have to remove Hashirama. If all of you escape he'll be the one who's blamed for it.

Trust me I won't stop you if you make a run for it, it actually benefits me". "You won't ship us out"? Kurenai asked. "Of course not. So let's cooperate!

Papa's a special case? What does she mean by that?

"How about it"? She asked offering me her hand. I was about to offer my hand as well but Rin stopped me. "Kakashi, wait a second. I want to make sure of something first". "What's that"? "How can we be sure you won't betray us in the end?

"Are you saying you don't trust me"? "Answer the question"! "Alright, if Obito goes and tattles on me to papa you can destroy me. Meanwhile if I tell papa that Obito's acting as a double agent then all of you will go down with him. So you see, neither of us will snitch because we can't. Do you trust me now"?

"Yeah, sure". Rin said. "I guess we have a deal then". We shook on it but what she said about papa still bothered me. "I know a lot about this place that may be helpful for you to know and I'm willing to share it with you all. It's proof of my goodwill, if you're interested why don't you drop by my room tonight". She said as she walked off.

Obito

"She was one of us and this is all so she can have a better life. What a monster. She dosen't care if any of the kids here live or die at all". Rin said as the five of us watched sister playing with our siblings from a window. "She said she won't ship us though". Kurenai said.

"What she meant was, she can't". Kakashi said. "If she really wanted to help us then she would've quietly helped us". "The only reason she's showing us her cards is to try and gain our trust". I said. "But what's the point in doing that"? Asuma asked.

"It's all so she can get solid evidence of our rebellion". Kakashi said. "In other words she's in a position where the higher-ups won't trust her unless she has proof. She dosen't have the power to ship us out like papa does". "Wait, what happens if she finds the rope we hid in the tree"? Asuma asked.

"It's fine, explaining the rope is easy. We can say we were gonna use it for a game. I'm sure sister Mito would believe us if we played our cards right". Kakashi said. "Hold on, why are we coorperating with her"? Asuma asked. "Does it give us an advantage"? "If we use her effectively we might learn something valuable.

Additionally it'll keep her out of the way so we can focus on the inspection". "We'll be fine, we have to use every opportunity we can". Rin said. "Obito, can I talk to you in private? I wanna discuss the investigation with you". "Sure thing". The two of us left and headed to our room

Once there he sat on the bed while I stood in front of him. "I think you might be right about papa". "Why the change of heart"? "Sister Mito said something that got me thinking. She said that papa was a special case". "What do you mean by that"?

"Only women are supposed to become moms apparently". "So what makes papa special then"? "I'm not sure. I was thinking of sneaking into sister's room when she's not there. I know it's risky but considering how you feel about papa and what sister told me I thought it was worth a look at least". "Thank you Kashi. I'll also see if I can find out anything from papa".

Hashirama

"Smile papa". I turned to him and did as told. He took a picture of me then took it out and looked  at it. "So nothing shows up first huh"? "Mhm, I'm kinda surprised that the last gift you would ask from me is a camera". "I don't wanna forget you". He ruffled my hair and smiled.

"That will never happen. I'll always be with you in your heart. Have you told Kakashi yet"? "No but I will soon, is it ok if I ask you something"? "Of course, you can ask me anything". "Are you really the only male caretaker"? "I am. I don't know why that is but I'm grateful I was given the opportunity".

"Do you remember what they said when they hired you"? He thought for awhile. "No come to think of it". "I see". "It feels like somethings missing though". "What do you mean by that"? "It feels like I'm supposed to be somewhere other than here".

"I know what you mean". "I hope you find the answers your looking for after you leave from here". "Try not to miss me too much". "To late, I already do". The phone in his room soon rang.

Hashirama: Yes sir?

??????: Change of plans. Get the boy ready tonight he leaves tomorrow afternoon. Also, there's a package at the gate for you.

Hashirama: Yes sir I understand

He hung up and looked at me sadly.

After I told Obito what we were talking about he hugged me then left. I went to the gate, retrieved the box and headed back to my room with it. I used a box cutter to open it and was confused. Inside of it was a picture of a man with long black hair, kind eyes and a matching smile.
