Madara

It was late at night as Stone slept next to me. He had had another dream about his brother and didn't feel comfortable being in their room anymore. The two of us talked until he fell asleep curled up next to me. I couldn't help but smile down at him and gently brush his chestnut hair aside.

He looked so much like his papa it wasn't funny. He hasn't mentioned it but I know he misses him. He just doesn't talk about it because he's afraid it'll hurt me.

I promise you I'll find your papa and siblings and bring them home. Just give me a little more time

There was a knock at my door soon after. I gave him one more look then headed downstairs. I was surprised to see his sister there. "Inuama". "Hey, Madara. Can I come in"? "Of course". I stepped aside and closed the door behind her.

"I'm sorry to come by so late. I just thought I'd stop by and check on you and Stone before heading home". "Thank you, I appreciate it. We're as good as we can be. Stone still gets nightmares from time to time and I let him sleep in my bed when it happens".

"What about you"? "Stone is the only thing that's keeping me going. If it wasn't for him I would've given up hope a long time ago". "Are there still no leads"? "None. It's as if he just disappeared". She came and hugged me. I hugged her back right away.

"Don't give up. I have faith the two of you will be reunited again". "Let's just hope he stays this time". "I have a feeling he will". "I wish I had your optimism". "Your grieving, it's perfectly fine to feel this way".

Ryuko

I was in my office working late. My brother Izuna had left to go home to his husband and three kids. I didn't have a significant other or kids so I had the luxury of being able to work late.  I had to work late to help my brother.

There's no telling what's happening to Hashirama and his kids right now. There was a knock at my door. "Come in". The door opened and I looked up to see Hashirama's sister enter. "So I may have lied to your brother and told him I was heading home after checking on him and Stone".

She said as she made her way over to my desk and sat on top of it. "You know you don't have to check on us daily right". I asked smiling. "I have to do something. I feel useless just sitting around waiting. Are there any leads"?

"No". "I see". "Changing topic, do you know anything about the Grave Feild Orphanage"? "No not really". "Apparently all the kids that get adopted from there end up dead before their able to go to their families". "That's awful". "I know".

"What did the person in charge say"? "That's just it, no one knows who they are nor are we able to get in contact with them". "Maybe their boss could tell you". "We would have to know who they are as well". "I have a bad feeling about this". "You and me both".

Itachi

Deidara and I were running in the forest playing together. He was only one so I wasn't able to run as fast as I wanted to. He ran behind me as I ran a few feet in front of him. The tall trees made everything cool so we didn't have to worry about getting hot.

Everytime he would get close to me I ran a little faster. I looked back and was expecting an annoyed look on his face but all I saw was a smile that made me smile back. We continued like this for a while until he eventually jumped on my back.

The two of us rolled on the ground for a while until we ended up laying next to each other on our backs. He laughed happily while I had a gentle smile on my face. I always enjoyed playing with Deidara. I loved playing with Obito, Shisui, Kakashi, Sasuke and Mashi as well but for some reason it just felt differnt when it was just me and Deidara playing together.

I would do anything to keep that happy smile on his face. "I like playing with you a lot ita". "I like playing with you as well dei". "More than you like reading those boring books"? "Hey, their not boring". "If you say so". "I know so". "Mhm, sure". It went quiet for a while.

"I hope we're able to get adopted together". "I would like that as well but I doubt it. Only one kid gets adopted at a time". "Oh. Have you noticed Kakashi and Rin acting weird lately"? "I have. I think it's because one of them might be getting adopted soon".

"But Obito's going to be sad if that happens". "I know but he'll still have the rest of us to keep him company". "Mhm. If we are going to be adopted separately I hope it's at least to the same people". "You and me both Dei".

Hashirama

I was in the nursery with my three youngest children. A new baby had arrived this morning and I was helping him settle in before introducing him to the others. His name was Naruto and he had spiky blond hair and dark blue eyes. To my surprise he was the same age as Sasuke and Mashi.

He was a handful though. He kept twisting and turning while I tried to change his diaper. I had to end up lifting him up a little by his legs so he would stop. I cleaned him, put powder on him and finally was able to put him a fresh new diaper. I pulled his shorts back up on him and he started laughing.

I smiled down at him, lifted up his shirt and started blowing on his stomach that made him laugh more. I wanted to continue but was interrupted by the phone ringing. I picked Naruto up and placed him in his crib.

"Papa will be right back". I leaned down and gave him a kiss on his forehead before heading to the hallway. I picked up the phone and put it to my ear.

Hashirama: Hello sir

??????: Kakashi and Rin we're at the gate last night. Take care of it

Hashirama: I'm sorry sir but you must be mistaken. My kids would never break the rules.

??????: Either you fix it or I will

Hashirama: I understand

???????: Good

He hung up and I let out a sigh.

I want to hear it from them myself.

I thought to myself as I walked off to look for them. I saw them both heading down the stairs together. "Kakashi, Rin, can I ask the two of you something"? They stopped in their tracks. "Of course papa". Kakashi said. "Did the two of you go down to the gate last night"?

"Of course not". Kakashi said. "Why would we"? Rin asked. "Don't worry about it, it was silky of me to ask. I do however need the two of you to help me gather everyone. You have a new sibling that arrived today. He's in the nursery with Sasuke and Mashi right now".

"Yes sir". They said in unison. I made my way down the stairs and and the three of us headed outside together. I stood next to the big oak tree and rang my bell while Kakashi and Rin left to gather everyone. Most of them came to me pretty quickly but I couldn't see Shisui, Itachi or Deidara.

I was about to gather the kids inside and go looking for them myself when Shisui made his way up the hill crying. I immediately made my way to him and kneeled to his level.

"What's wrong love". I saw Itachi and Deidara playing in the forest earlier and wanted to play with them but I couldn't find them anywhere". I gently whipped his tears and smiled warmly at him. Don't worry I'll find them". I kissed his forehead then stood up and headed into the forest.

I walked for awhile until I saw them both sleeping side by side near a tree. I smiled down at them then gently picked them up in my arms and headed back to the others. Everyone was relieved when they saw me walking up the hill with them in my arms. Especially Shisui.

He ran over to me and hugged my leg. "It's ok Shi, they just decided to take a nap after getting tired". "I was so worried". "I know but I have something that will make all of you happy. Come with me". I took them all inside and led them to the nursery. I smiled as their eyes lit up looking at their new brother. "His names Naruto".

Kakashi

Rin and I ran out into the forest when no one was looking. We took a few table clothes with us and hid them in trees. "You know, this is a great idea Kakashi. Now we have a way to climb over the wall". "Mhm but we still have to figure out the hard part.

How to figure out how to take everyone when we escape". "I think it would be best to tell Obito and get his opinion on things". "I was thinking the very same thing. He's also the least likely to panic plus he would be a good assist to our team but". "But what"?

"I think it would be best if I talked to him myself". "Talk to me about what"? "Obito"! We both said shocked to see him. "Yo. I'm sorry for following you but it's been bugging me all day. Tell me what happened at the gate. You know when you tried to take little bunny to Connie. You both came back empty handed even though you didn't see her".

"Your so sharp". Kakashi said. "So I assumed something must've happened now spill it"! "Connie was killed that night by the people that were supposed to bring her to her family".

"I see, this is bad". "I'm suprised your able to believe it so easily". "Of course I am. Kakashi wouldn't make up a lie about that, he's not you Rin. So if we're really going to make a break for it we need to address a few things. First is the number of kids. We should narrow it down to those who can make it".

"Wait"! "Huh"? "We're leaving here and taking everyone with us and to make that happen we need you". Everyone? Your kidding right? There's thirty eight kids here and most of them aren't even six yet. Not to mention papa and the killers. Those factors make the situation worse. Your asking for the impossible".

"I know it'll be tough but I don't think it's impossible". "It can't be done, you don't get it do you". "Obito hang on". " I see, that's why you said you'd talk to me but you have to be upfront about something this grave. Rin". "Yeah what"? "We can't just worry about escaping, it won't be enough. We don't know what's on the other side of the wall.

The fact that there's a farm and a buyer should be enough for you. There's no telling what their doing with the bodies after their killed. There's no place for us to live. All their doing is giving us false hope. So it's impossible to take everyone, if we do then we'll all be killed. We leave them behind, that's the best option".

"No way, even if it's impossible their all coming. We can figure it out". "What"? "I don't know what's on the outside but leaving everyone behind isn't an option. I want Connie to be the last one they take. Never again. I don't want to lose anyone else like that. If there isn't a place for us out there then we'll make one ourselves. Thank you for helping me understand Obi.

We're planning an escape were we get everyone out. I'm not bending. It's best you come to terms with my plan". "Your plan is suicide". "No it not"! "You need to talk some sense into her". "You didn't see the way she was crying. I thought she was crying because she was scared but she was actually crying for her family".

"But it's a loss cause. The three of us could make it but trying to take everyone, it's like trying to make a boat out of mud. You should see clearly, there's nothing wrong with being scared. Don't let feelings cloud your judgment".

"Iam seeing clearly. I want to build a boat out of mud as well". "Don't be an idiot! You're supposed to be different. Your the cool headed one that should weigh out the best option"! "I've always been able to accomplish what I set out to do. If you bake mud you can make a vessel. So a boat that's made out of mud wouldn't necessarily sink".

"You've gone mad". "You think. Maybe rin and I have both lost our minds so you can't necessarily let us do it by ourselves". "You jerk. What kind of friend would I be if I did".
