Kakashi

Obito, Rin, and I were cleaning up along with the rest of the kids. Obito and I were washing dishes when we heard a loud scream coming from the dining room. We immediately rushed over and realized it was Rin. "What's going on"? I asked.

"Connie forgot little bunny". "There's still time, the light to the gate is still on". Obito said. "But papa said were not allowed to leave the house at night". "Well, then we'll both just gonna have to get in trouble". I said giving her a reassuring smile which made her smile.

The two of us left and headed down the hill. I could see papa making his way back and immediately grabbed Rin by the arm making a detour. She was surprised at first but followed me regardless. There was an open field leading from the house to the gate so we had to use the shade from the night to cover us while we ran around him. It took longer than it was supposed to but we eventually made it there.

The lights were still on and I could see a truck in the driveway. I could hear a man talking but what concerned me the most was Connie crying, before I had the chance to try and see what was going on I heard a loud gunshot that shook me to my core.

We both stared in disbelief as Connie's body fell from the corner and blood leaked out of her. Rin let out a small squeak but I was able to quickly cover her mouth. "Hey did you hear something"? One of the men asked. "It sounded like it came from the truck". The other man said. I took Rin by the hand and quickly ran back to the house with her.

The two of us sat quietly in our room together and talked softly while everyone slept. "What we saw wasn't real. It couldn't have been. Papa loves us. He wouldn't give us away just to have us killed". She said in a low voice while hugging her legs. I went to her and took her in my arms.

"I'm afraid it was. They killed Connie after papa left". "Have we been living here this whole time just to end up dead"? "Let's escape Rin, we'll get out of here. That's right, between you, me, and Obito-". "And the others. What about them? We can't leave them. If we do they'll all be killed for sure.

I can't take it. I don't wanna lose any more family". She said crying softly. "And you won't have to. Try not to worry. We'll flee, all of us". I said smiling. "Really? But how? How can a whole bunch of kids run away from those monsters"?........"Strategy"? "Like when we played tag". "Mhm, we'll find a solution where all of us survives".

Madara

It was early in the morning as I cooked breakfast for me and my son Stone. He was eleven years old and the most important thing to me. Originally I had six kids all together but the other five had went missing along with their papa, my husband Hashirama.

Hashirama pops up and comes back home every now and then but before we have the chance to talk about everything he disappears on me again. Some of the other officers have accused him of kidnapping our other kids but I know that's not true. Hashi would never do that to me. I know something happened to him.

I just hope him and the kids are safe wherever they are. "Morning dad". Stone said coming downstairs. "Morning Stone. Do you have all your homework finished"? "Yes sir". He said taking a seat at the table. I fixed both our plates and sat down with him. He drank orange juice while I drank a hot cup of coffee.

"How did you sleep"? "Not good. I had another dream about Obito". Obito is twin brother. "Why didn't you come wake me"? "I didn't want to worry you plus I know how late you have to work sometimes". He said looking down into his plate. "Stone listen to me". He looked up from his plate.

"I don't care how tired I am from my job. Nothing and I mean nothing will ever be more important than you". "Thanks dad". "You're welcome".

"If you need me for anything just call ok". "Ok dad, love you". "Love you too". We said hugging each other before he had to head into school. I watched until he disappeared through the doors then made my way to work.

I got there fifteen minutes later and immediately headed to my office. I wasn't surprised at all to see my brother and sister there. "Izuna, Ryuko". "We've got a new case chief". Izuna said. "What's that"? "A six-year-old girl was killed late last night after having just been adopted". Ryuko said.

"What's her name"? "Her names Connie, we're not sure of her last name but before the incident she was living at Grace Field". "That's the orphanage that has a good adoption record right"?

"It is but the strange part is that no one has heard from the previous kids that were adopted from there". Izuna said. "There's a change the orphanage may know something about this". "We thought so as well but when we tried to look into it we couldn't find the person in charge of it". Ryuko said.

"That's odd. Did you try calling them"? "We did but we couldn't find a phone number anywhere either". Izuna said. "How far is Grace Field from here"? "Two-day drive". "I see. We'll head out this weekend to investigate. In the meantime try to see if you can't find any of the parents that adopted from them". "Yes chief".

Obito

I jolted awake from my sleep. Sweet was dripping from my forehead as I tried to slow my breathing down. It was the same dream I always had. I was playing with a brown haired boy around my age but I couldn't see his face. There was also a man with long black hair their but I couldn't see his face either.

I placed my hand over my heart and took slow deep breaths as I tried to get my breathing under control. I slowly looked around the room and saw that everyone was fast asleep. I slowly got out of bed and made my way down the hall to papa's room.

I opened and closed the door quietly then slowly crawled into bed with him. He turned over and held me close to his chest. "Was it another nightmare"? He whispered while gently stroking my hair. "Yeah". I whispered back.

"Try going back to sleep. I'm right here". I closed my eyes and did as told.

Kakashi

"Listen Rin, we have to pretend like last night didn't happen. Sure we might've broken the rules by going to the gate last night but that doesn't mean we saw anything". I said while we stood in an empty room together. "But we left little bunny there". "That's right and we have to assume papa found it but that doesn't tell him anything about who left it behind".

"Papa was laughing at breakfast. He doesn't show it on his face at all". "And that's what we have to do too. Otherwise he'll notice that something is wrong. We can't let that happen so smile".

When no one was looking the two of us went into the forest together to see if we could come up with an escape plan. "When we made it to the fence I grabbed a stick and started drawing. "We'll start by making a rudimentary map. The house is in the middle lined up with the gate and the forest encircles the rest of the property. So which exit do we choose for our escape. The gate or the forest"?

"I'd say the forest. The gates always closed except for when they're shipping and when it's open". "The killers are their. So when do we try to escape? During the day when we're able to get out of the house freely or during shipping when pa-". "We can't do it during shipping. That plan means that someone we love dies".

"Your right and I'm also worried the younger ones won't be able to stay awake during the night. It's decided. We'll escape during the day through the forest. If that's possible". "That depends on what things are like beyond the forest".

We jumped the fence and ran until we came across a huge wall. Rin was the better climber so I let her climb one of the trees to get a better look. "Is there something there"? "Nothing. It looks to be about two or three meters thick and the top of it is pretty high up".

"But there are no guards". I said examining the wall from the bottom. It's quiet. What do you think Rin"? "It was built sturdy. I don't see any rough edges or seams and the surface is smooth, there's no way someone could climb this". She said while placing her hand on it. "Should we give up"?

"That's what it's meant to make us think but if it was you, me or Obito climbing this wouldn't be a problem with a rope".

After coming back from the forest Rin and I decided to split up for a while. Needing to relax I immediately went looking for Obito. I know he can be a little harsh and distant at times but that's because he doesn't like to get close to others. He's scared they'll leave him if he does. I'm the only exception to that rule and sometimes Rin.

I found him in the back yard sitting next to the pond. I couldnt help but notice the distressed look on his face. I sat next to him and waited for him to talk. "I've been having nightmares. Their about a brown haired boy the same age as me and a man with black hair.

I can't see either of their faces though". "Can you hear their voices"? "Sometimes". "Do you think they could be your family"? "That's a possibility. People have been known to suppress memories but that doesn't change the fact that I was still given away". "Maybe the reason for you being here isn't as bad as you think?

There's always the chance it had to do with finances". "I suppose you have a point. Do you think they'll ever come back for me"? "Hopefully everything will turn out good but in the meantime you can think of me as your family since I'm the only one you talk to".

"That's not necessarily true. I talk to Shisui and Itachi a lot". "That's good". I scooted closer to him and as a result he moved his hand closer to mine. "I can tell there's something bothering you". "There is but I don't want to bother you with it just yet".

"You are eventually going to tell me though"? "Of course I'am........Obi, I want to talk to you about what you said yesterday". "What about it"? "I'm not going to tell you your wrong for feeling the way you do but are you sure you don't have some idea for what the perfect family for you would be"?

"Two parents, a few uncles and aunts and surprisingly a few siblings". "I hope you're able to get it one day". "What about you"? "I don't mind just as long as they're loving". "I hope we're still able to see each other after we're adopted. I don't want to lose you as a friend". "You never will. I'll always be with you even when we're apart".

"Thanks kashi". "Your welcome".
