Its tea! He loves tea!

"Anakin, I heard you kept being told off for smelling like a battlefield," Palpatine stated during one of their talks.

Anakin blushed, ducking his head as Padme's reprimands echoed in his ears. "Only sometimes."

"Well, I think I can sneak a bottle or two of this tea tree mixture I've been recommended onto your refuel crates," Palpatine stated, a soft smile against his face, "it helps with the smell. It will also break down anything left behind after the missions."

"Really?" Anakin asked, looking Sheev in the eyes.

"Yes, my dear boy, I keep getting far too many delivered," Palpatine smiled, "I'm sure they won't mind if you use some."

------

"Obi-Wan! Obi-Wan!" Anakin shouted as he barged into the man's quarters.

Cody sighed as he looked down at his half-fishing report. He could see Obi-Wan doing the same.

"You got to try this!"

"What is it, Anakin?" Obi-Wan sighed, placing down his 'pad.

"It's this tea shampoo! Amazing with hair, especially after a mission!" Anakin stated, rambling, "Sheev recommended it to me!"

"If I try it, will you allow us to finish the reports?" Obi-Wan questioned, holding back another sigh.

"Yes, of course," Anakin nodded, shoving the bottle into Obi-Wan's hands, "I know how important your appearance is to you."

Obi-Wan nodded, only releasing his sigh when Anakin had bounced out of the room. Resting his head against the table, he let the tension leave his body.

"General Skywalker seems- enthusiastic?" Cody stated, stumbling slightly over a word to use.

"Honestly, not sure why," Obi-Wan groaned, sitting upright again, "I just hope he won't become obsessed." He didn't believe even his hope.

By the snort Cody released, neither did he.

-----

Opening the bottle, Obi-Wan sniffed at it before continuing cleaning.

-----

Obi-Wan grunted as his hand shook, and he miss-typed again.

"Sir, you alright?" Cody asked, seeing the frustration build over Obi-Wan.

"My hand keeps shaking," Obi-Wan sighed, placing down his stylus to show Cody.

"Sir, that is not healthy," Cody stated, automatically leaning forwards and checking over and checking the hand and arm for any injury.

"I'm probably just overworking myself," Obi-Wan offered with a half-smile.

Cody sat up straight before snatching the datapads away from Obi-Wan, "then go rest."

"I'm sure it can wait until after the reports," Obi-Wan said.

"No." Cody warned, shaking his head, "if it is bad enough that your hands are shaking, then you need to now. Go, before I get Wrap involved, or worse, Tooka Squad."

"Alright, alright," Obi-Wan laughed, holding his hand up in surrender, "no need to be so drastic."

"Your hands are shaking, being that drastic is allowed," Cody stated.

Obi-Wan huffed, shaking his head.

-----

"General, your hands are still shaking," Cody growled as he came to stand beside him in front of the briefing table, "I told you to rest."

"I did!" Obi-Wan defended, "it just didn't work."

"Everything ok, Obi-Wan?" Anakin asked, noticing the Jedi and clone mumbling.

"Perfectly fine, Anakin, now, we need to  proceed with this briefing."

Anakin cast the duo another wary look before nodding.

-----

"Sir?" Cody asked, his eyes widening as he took in the whole body tremble that went through Obi-Wan. Reaching out, he touched at the man's shoulder.

Obi-Wan's knees buckled the moment Cody touched him, slouching loosely in the man's arms as he caught him.

"Rex, call Wrap," Cody ordered, taking off one glove to feel the General's temperature.

"He asked whether it was a code cresh?"

"No," Cody stated, slowly lowering Obi-Wan and himself to the floor, "warm, not cold."

"He said he's on his way," Rex nodded.

"What's happening, Commander?" Anakin asked, crouching next to the two.

"His hands shook earlier, and he took a break to see if that would help," Cody explained, "now his body has gone slack with slight tremors."

"He doesn't feel right in The Force," Anakin muttered, "almost as if he's been poisoned."

Cody's eyes widened as an idea came to him. Raising his comm, he almost growled down the line, "Book, is there anything that might be toxic to Tooka's that the General might have come into contact with?"

"Xylitol, found in toothpaste, mistletoe was on the planet we just visited the same with lilies," Book's voice came through, "why?"

"The General has fallen unwell, and General Skywalker mentioned he feels like he's been poisoned." Cody could feel the looks he was gaining from General Skywalker and Rex as he explained it.

"Symptoms?"

"Started with shakes in his hands, then tremors, and now he has gone weak," Cody summarised.

"That sounds like tea tree poisoning."

"That shampoo I gave him, one of the main ingredients was tea tree," Anakin butted in.

Book's end exploded with swears, "we need to start treatment straight away to flush it from his system, especially if it is in high quantity. Tooka's have died or got brain damage from the effects."

Cody swore, shifting so that he had a better hold on Obi-Wan as the others mumbled proficiencies alongside him.

"I tell the medics to be prepared," Rex stated, getting straight on the comm.

-----

"I've got him connected to a drip to help flush the toxin from his system," Wrap stated, "I'll be monitoring his systems to make sure they even out and stabilise. If he was left any longer, the General might have slipped into a coma or sustained damage by its effects."

"What?!" Anakin exclaimed, "it was only a bottle of shampoo!"

"That had a high percentage of tea tree in it," Wrap pointed out, "far higher than generally allowed for a shampoo."

"The Chancellor recommended it," Anakin defended.

"And I am not saying anything on it, sir," Wrap calmed, "but a Tooka can have reactions at lower percentages than humans."

"I'll bring that up with the Chancellor unless others less adept deal with the fallout gets affected," Anakin mumbled.

Cody turned from the conversation when he heard the General start to stir. "General?" He asked, his fingers brushing lightly against the Jedi's arms.

"C-Cody?"

"I'm here, sir," Cody stated, moving so he was more in the General's eye line.

"Why does it feel like I've been left in a desert for hours?" Obi-Wan asked.

"You got tea tree poisoning," Wrap explained, moving so the General could see him, "you've stabilised and expected to make a full recovery before we reach Coruscant."

"Coruscant?"

"The Chancellor indirectly poisoned you," Anakin stated, "even by accident, it has to be investigated."

"Oh."

"Get some rest, sir, let it flush fully from your system," Cody stated, resting a hand on Obi-Wan's.

"Alright," Obi-Wan mumbled, his eyes fluttering closed.

"He listened when you told him to sleep?" Anakin asked as Cody moved to stand next to him.

"The General's body is getting more used to sleep, and now he tends to listen when he is told to sleep," Cody shrugged.

"That's good," Anakin sighed.

-----

The council didn't even blink as the duo walked in. Obi-Wan was half draped over Cody as the man assisted him to his chair.

"I heard there was an incident on the Negotiator?" Mace asked.

"Yes, I was accidentally poisoned," Obi-Wan nodded, "seems I keep the level of Tea Tree toxicity that a Tooka has."

"What poisoned you?"

"Shampoo that Anakin gave me after being recommended it by the Chancellor," Obi-Wan explained, "Anakin has gone to warn the Chancellor so that no similar situation happens to those that are not prepared."

"Sir," Cody coughed, interrupting, "Wrap has just commed saying that you must eat."

"Now?" Obi-Wan sighed, looking over at Cody.

"As much as you need to focus on the meeting," Cody stated, "I think you'd prefer to be able to sleep without the risk of being attacked with a hypo."

"Very well," Obi-Wan nodded.

"Stab notified me they used a new type of fish, and he wants feedback," Cody informed, handing over the ration to Obi-Wan.

"What fish is it?"

"Surströmming."

Obi-Wan nodded, recognising the name as a delicacy to some people, before opening the packet. A stench filled the air almost instantly.

The effect was instant. Many members of the council suddenly went pail hands flying to their mouths. The troopers in the room toxic gas alarm went off.

Only Obi-Wan wasn't affected as he happily took a bite of the ration bar.

After shoving his helmet on and activating the gas filter, Cody turned to Obi-Wan in astonishment, "how are you able to stomach that?!"

"What? It's just fish," Obi-Wan shrugged.

"Obi-Wan, Surströmming is fermented fish," Mace pointed out as he kept releasing the nausea to The Force.

"So?" Obi-Wan asked, still eating the ration. "It is a delicacy for some."

"Please, never eat it near us again," Mace begged.

Obi-Wan huffed, rolling his eyes as he finished the ration, "fine."

"Here, sir," Cody stated, holding out a lavender flower, "this is catmint; eat it."

"Why?"

"Because your breath is the thing triggering the alarm now," Cody stated.

"Fine," Obi-Wan grumbled, chewing on the flowery plant.

"I do believe the meeting can continue now," Mace sighed, causing the room to come back to life slowly.

Cody was never going to be able to live down have flowers in his pocket by the look his vode was giving him.

-----

Palpatine grinned as he jotted down the newest piece of information. His list was increasing rapidly; soon, that Jedi was going to be gone for good.
