Soo Emi
"Um, do I take a left here?" I questioned the roads as I go down an unfamiliar street. "Or was it the next stop light?"
"See, you don't know how to get to the police station." Hoseok teases with a poke on my cheek.
"I do, but your bickering with Seokjin was distracting me and I couldn't focus!"
"Hey, he was the one that cheated on the game!"
"How does one cheat in iSpy?"
"He was saying things that were passing by in half a second!" Hoseok whined.
"Um, you guys."
"You were just too easy." Seokjin mocks with his tongue sticking out.
"Who sees a blue car wash sign that was in the street before we turned? You had me looking for a whole two minutes!"
"Quiet down, you two!" I shouted. "I will stop this car and hit both of you on the head!"
"Hey, you guys."
"Hoseok is just a sore loser." Seokjin says like a little child. "He doesn't know how to fairly play a game."
Hoseok gasps. "I wasn't the one cheating! And do you not hear him being so immature? You call me the baby when he's out here acting like the baby......butthead."
"Hello, guys!"
"Did you just call me a butthead?"
"And what if I did?"
"You guys!"
"I can flip you over right now and you'll break a lot of bones!"
"YOU GUYS!" Lucas screams from the back, his silent shell suddenly bursting open.
We all shut up.
"The black car behind us has been following us since that stop 20 minutes ago." He points behind him. "It's getting weird."
Hoseok looks out the rear view mirror. "I think you're right. Why didn't you tell us that earlier?"
Lucas squints his eyes. "No one heard me."
My heart quickens. "Ma-Maybe it's a different car? There's a lot of black cars around here."
"That car doesn't have a license plate!" Seokjin gasps. "That is definitely not a good sign."
"W-What do we do?" I stammered.
"Pull over." Hoseok suddenly orders.
"Are you crazy, Hoseok?" I trembled.
"Pull over and let's settle this with whoever those people are."
Hesitating, I pulled the car over to an empty parking lot and as expected, the car behind us did the same.
"This is terrifying." I breathed out loud.
Hoseok strokes my thigh. "It'll be ok."
I park and the car behind us does the same.
Before any of us could do anything further, two men exit their vehicle and marched to us.
Hoseok instantly reaches over and holds an arm in front of me, protecting me in some way he can in our position.
One of the men motion for us to exit the vehicle.
"They want to us to get out." Seokjin breathes.
"Emi, stay-"
"No, she has to come out with us."

Jung Hoseok
Seokjin, Lucas, and I stood in front of Emi with our arms crossed and our heart beating rapidly.
I ordered Emi to stay next to the car while we handle these guys. It was terrifying knowing she was outside and exposed, but I won't let my guard down.
"Who do you think they are?" Lucas leans over and asks me.
"I don't know, but it definitely has something to do with Seokjin's father."
Seokjin leans in too. "You're right, butthead."
"You're the butt-"
"Another thing too, I think those were the people the neighbors were complaining about last night." Seokjin explains.
Lucas and I gave each other a look.
"Hey, you three!" One of the beefy men called as they both walked towards us.
Our heads snapped towards them.
"You guys are sticking your asses in some dangerous business. Do you know that?" The other spoke with a finger pointed.
"Do you think we don't know that?" Seokjin speaks for us.
"Look what we have here! It's the son." They laughed and smacked each other's chest.
I watched them with disgust.
One dude steps closer to Seokjin, causing him to visibly tense up in fear.
I quickly look back at Emi and find her trembling against the car door. She was watching us with immense fear in her eyes.
"What are you doing, huh? Why are you doing this? You were gaining so much from this and now you want it to end? Especially like this?" The man jabs Seokjin in the chest.
"I've never been a huge fan of what my father did." He growls back, pushing his finger away. "And I don't need you repeating those same stupid things."
"What stupid things? Money? If you hated it so much, why did you let your father push you around and basically brainwash you to do what you've been doing?"
Seokjin's jaw tightened. "Just leave."
"Hmph. You don't want to have a conversation with me?" He starts cackling and his friend behind him starts laughing too.
"Look at him! He doesn't want to talk! Isn't that surprising?" The other man laughs out loud.
"Look. We all," Seokjin motions towards us. "Don't want any trouble."
"You don't want trouble? That's funny because if you didn't want trouble then you would've kept your stupid mouth shut!"
The guy holds up a fist and was about to punch Seokjin, but I stepped in before he could.
"Can we handle this like adults?" I hissed. "Let's just talk this out."
"And who are you?"
"I'm H-"
"He's someone you shouldn't care about." Seokjin interrupts and pushes me back. "You're here to talk to me and me only."
"Seokjin-"
He turns his head towards me. "You've done your part. Now I gotta do mine."
My mouth parts as I watch him protect me.
Lucas grabs my shoulder and holds me back.
"This isn't a movie, you big bunch of cocks!" The man in black screams out. "Why are you all being dramatic?!"
"We just want you to stop following us and leave us alone!" I stepped past Seokjin.
"Oh, wouldn't that be nice? Getting what you want. Ok, let me tell you what I want." The big guy comes face to face with me. "I want you and your gay friends to stop what you're doing and tell the police to stop their investigation."
I immediately shake my head. "You're pretty damn ignorant to think that's going to happen."
He leans away with a laugh.
"Hoseok, let me handle this. You and Lucas just get back to the car." Seokjin shoves me away.
I don't budge. "I'm not leaving until these fools know their damn place."
"You know? You're really getting on my nerves. All I ask is for you to stay put and do nothing. I even asked nicely. What is so hard for you?"
The anger in me rose. "Because you all deserve to go to jail for your decisions! You don't deserve to drive that car or wear the clothes you're wearing! You deserve to be in a dirty cell with no air to breath!"
"Hoseok-"
"He's got a gun!" Lucas shouts and grabs me by the shirt.
The other man who was standing in the back was holding a gun in front of him, pointed straight at us.
My eyes widened.
Our hands instantly went up.
"This is why you don't yell at people." Seokjin whispers to me as he stand by my side.
"Who knew he had a gun." I whispered back, keeping my eyes on the weapon.
"Look who's scared now." The talkative dummy crosses his arms and motions his friend to come closer.
The man with the gun approached us and was now standing so close that the gun was almost touching our faces.
"You've made a stupid decision...then another one...then another one...then a couple more." He continues to speak with the power he now has. "And now you have a gun to your face."
I swallowed the lump in my throat.
"I'm going to shoot someone." He smiles creepily. "And you all don't know who I'll shoot."
He lifts a finger and points forward.
Unexpectedly, the gun triggers, sending a bullet flying past our faces.
My heart leaped at the deafening sound of the bullet that thankfully missed our bodies.
But my heart stopped when I hear a body drop from behind me.
Everything was silenced and all I could hear was the sound of a heart beat and a sound of a flatline.
I turned around, almost in slow motion, and saw Emi's body on the floor.
