Title: Social Butterfly ꕥ Part 3

"Oh heh um, Jimin where was home again?" Taehyung asked with unsureness filling his vice and his shoulders are scrunched up against him smiling cheekily. "Omg Taehyung it's right over this way you can spot a bit of the outskirt just there! But we have to hurry before Queen Clarion sends the guards to start checking out dormitories!" Jimin explained swiftly and so we were on our Mary way!

Your Perspective

As we were walking through the obstacles of large sticks, pieces of leaves and such I couldn't help but wonder, how will their queen react? I know my queen won't react so fondly since I'm close to Nod and she considers him a brother.

"Hey, Jimin? How I'll Queen Clarion was it? How will she react to me? A wingless fairy in your terms." I asked this question has been bugging my mind.

We weren't that much experienced with fairies since both species never really crossed each other's paths in thousands of years. I was surprised when they didn't learn about our species in their schools, we had to learn about our surroundings and the different species there are. It helps us to navigate our way around and to know how to react if a species was harmful or not.

"I... haven't thought of that. But I'm pretty sure she will welcome you with open arms! Queen Clarion is very nice she welcomed the winter fairies with ease and other fairies too! Relax you don't have to worry about anything!" Jimin tried to logically reassure me with his reasoning.

"I wouldn't count on that, our wind fairies are very temperamental and are 99% of the time angry and viscous plus Queen Clarion didn't really greet with open arms in the first place, so stop sugarcoating stuff Jimin." Taehyung argues back speeding up his pace and heads nearer towards the outskirts nearly reaching their destination. He had a hardened face on and his jaw was clenched, this topic clearly affected him.

"Taehyung is right but he is always grumpy about me trying to 'sugarcoat' as he says, but what I'm trying to do is just shorten things for you. He's just sad cause he lost his sister to one of the stupid rules that were made a long time ago, luckily they were quickly taken down due to many problems. Now hurry we just entered the outskirts and by the looks of it it's starting to darken!" Jimin pressurized towards the end, I hope Taehyung isn't as sad when we arrive at Queen Clarion.

We arrived by this fancy looking tree that spilled out lots of sparkling yellow dust.

"Queen Clarion is checking up on the fairies working here today so we can catch her! Oh and also this is the Pixie dust Tree it provides us with the magic so we can fly and do other magic!" Jimin explained answering a majority of my questions that were swimming through my head.

But Jimin hadn't explained how I would go up there it seemed pretty high, even if I tried to jump I wouldn't be able to reach. Just before I could ask Jimin, Taehyung stepped and answered for me.

"Just hop on my back I'll fly you up, plus you don't look like you weigh a thing." Taehyung said with a lightened look, his eyes filled with sparkles reflecting the moon with them.

"O-oh ok!" I answered in a rush and hurried to climb on his back and he held me tightly as I wrapped my hands around his neck for more safety. Taehyung and Jimin started with a kick from the ground and quickly speeding up. I could feel the air slapping my skin, I clenched my eyes tight and snuggled into Taehyung's back afraid he would let go.

I accidentally peeked, but it was worth it. The view was beautiful, the moon shone brightly creating a great contrast for the far-seeing stars that shone not-so-brightly in the night sky. I looked back at Taehyung, the moonlight complimented his clear skin with such grace, his focused gaze on the path he is flying in, making sure I'm not slipping from his tight grasp on my legs.

I continued to gaze at his moonlight beauty that I didn't take notice that we have already made it to the top of the Pixie Dust Tree. Taehyung places me down gently on the ground whilst still maintaining a straight face, but his eyes were betraying him they had a look of affection and curiosity in them.

I had to force myself to look away and as I did, I took in my surroundings. I have never seen such beauty on the top of a tree before. The Pixie Dust has everything glitter and shimmer, the yellow glittering dust complimented the dull dark brown wood it had been surrounded with.

With the moon out, it had everything glow with a hint of magic and happiness filling the air. As I was wondering about, gazing in awe at the mystical environment it only took a chuckle from a certain someone to bring me back to my senses.

I looked over to my left and saw Taehyung trying to hold in a laugh at my actions, but he couldn't keep it in so he let out a fit of giggles. Sooner or later I and Jimin joined in laughing at my silliness of wonder. It is true that laughs are indeed contagious.

An *ahem* could be heard breaking our laughing moment, and for us to realize what we were originally here for. We stood up straight and I gazed at a beautiful woman. She had her golden-brown hair tied up in a dashing bun. Her bright yellow dress flew down towards the floor and fading into what seems to be Pixie dust. Her skin is as clear as day, and her wings were as beautiful, as a flower when it had just bloomed.

Finally to what showed her authority over the entire warm side of fairies, is her elegant crown, its jewels placed in the right places and it fit her entire look.

"Boys, would you mind to explain why we have a guest?" She asked politely, yet firmly towards Taehyung and Jimin, the boys looked like they were having a kind war on who should speak.

"I'm waiting?" She spoke again, but even more firmly.

"We found her unconscious in a forest and we thought she could stay here until she is well again to travel."

Surprisingly Taehyung is the one who spoke.

"I hope that's alright with you Queen Clarion?" He asked, continuing, politely bowing his head slightly in respect.

Her eyes softened a bit when he spoke and she put on a small sweet smile.

"Of course she could, but I hope your friend doesn't cause too much trouble." Queen Clarion answered, looking at me jokingly whilst she said the last part. After she had agreed to that I could almost see the excitement jumping in Taehyung and Jimin's eyes.

"You won't regret this!" Jimin half-shouted out and started to run towards the end of the tree, gripping my hand in the process. Jimin, forgetting I couldn't fly, didn't hear my warnings and jumped if the tree leaving my hand in the process. I tried to save myself from falling but failed with a scream.

Everything was going so fast I could barely hear a thing over my voice screaming in terror. The full wood could be seen in my vision zooming by so quickly as I fell. Nearing towards the ground, I couldn't help but squint my eyes and brace for impact.

When I felt two familiar strong grips hold onto my waist and hold me firmly against their chest. I didn't look up for the first few seconds without grasping around the person's neck and wrapping my legs around their waist for extra safety measures.

After ensuring I was safe I looked up to my savior and saw that it was Taehyung. As the same scene repeated from when it happened earlier his face had a hint of worry and anger. He didn't dare to look at my face, just focusing on the flight ahead. With that response I hugged him and placed my head in the crook of his neck, waiting for him to place me down at our destination.

We arrived at this small hut on top of support beams, it had straws as a roof and branches as replacement walls. As soon as my feet touched the ground, Taehyung continued to hold my waist then immediately letting go before realizing what he did, his head whiplashed to the side, and had a hint of blush on his skin.

Jimin came rushing over to me as fast as his tiny legs could.

"(Y/N) I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to, I wasn't thinking, how could I be so stupid?! I'm so sorry! I should never be trusted to be by your side ever again!" Jimin rambled his knees hitting the ground and is on the verge of crying.

With that, I stood on my knees on the ground and went closer to Jimin.

"Hey, it's ok! I survived thanks to Taehyung, plus between you and me I felt a hint of adrenaline whilst doing that." I tried to add in humor and it worked, he cracked a smile. As we stood up I was attacked with a tight hug from Jimin, having me stumble back from the impact.

"I'm sorry again..." he mumbled hugging me tighter than before.

I just hugged him back sighing in defeat forgetting all about Taehyung standing in the back, this must be awkward for him.

Jimin was fast asleep, he was kind enough to lend me some pajamas that fit me. I hadn't wondered where Taehyung went so I assumed he was outside on the small makeshift landing platform/balcony.

And my assumption was correct, he was just sitting there head dangling off the edge and hands laid behind him, as support. I took a few steps and sat next to him but tucking my legs in instead. I gazed at the stars with him when I suddenly remembered.

"Hey, Taehyung?" I asked softly still gazing at the stars and moon. Taehyung hummed in response as a yes and turned his head in my direction, looking at my side profile.

"I just wanted to thank you for saving me today, you were a real hero." I turned my head to look at him and caught him gazing.

"Sure thing, it was no big deal." He whispered still staring into my eyes.

"Well, I hadn't told you that you looked handsome doing it," I added, catching him by surprise, he blushed and didn't know what to say. So I leaned in and pecked his cheek after I had stood up and was making my way inside before stopping at the door frame and looking back. "Goodnight" I had said and headed inside to sleep, leaving him dumbfounded and blushing hard.

After that magical night between me and Taehyung, we had quite a liking for each other. I had also returned home the next day not forgetting to promise that I will always visit. So I did and that caused a bit of a fusion between the fairy colony and the Leafmen colony. All I have to thank is my little Social Butterfly for bringing me more joy than I had my entire life.

Hope you guys like the ending of the series! This last chapter was my favorite to write because I felt creative whilst doing it. Hope you guys liked the Easter eggs I put in such as the movie Epic and included Tinker bell in here!

I would also like to apologize for not updating, I thought starting school would help me fix my already messy schedule but it only added more stress. But it's Christmas break meaning I'm having two weeks off! Yay! I get to update often!

I'm doing a few more one-shots this holiday break and I might be doing more because I just found out the other day that schools might have to undergo online learning again because of how strong the pandemic became.
