A 23 year old Travis Valkrum stood infront of a crowd of people.. Or, Preferably known as the Phoenix Drop National Poetry Club.
He was holding a small toy confetti gun which he held with his right hand as his left was giving a small happy wave to his pregnant wife and Daughter, Emily Birsa Valkrum and Arielle Valkrum.
"To The Boys Who May One Day Date My Daughter!" Travis yelled into the microphone with a slightly annoyed expression before it changed to a happy one after the audience cooled their cheers, yells, claps and finger snaps.
"I have been waiting for you!" He grinned while looking over the crowds of people in the large room, The spotlight shone on him as his naturally bright fresh snow colored was even brighter from the lights as he stood infront of all of them.
"Since before her birth, Since before my spark took hold and ignited the fire in her mother's belly! I have been training to kill you." Travis huffed, holding the confetti gun like a shut gun in both of his hands as everyone in the room laughed and giggled.
"When you took your first steps, I was preparing to make it so never walked again." Travis threatened, slowly waving the plastic and colorful gun at the crowd of people. "When you played at war, I was perfecting headshots!" He grinned, shooting the confetti gun at his wife, who squealed in surprise and giggled happily.
"You can't, Catch up, At this point!" Travis huffed, running a hand through his hair whilst he looked around the audience with a stern expression, much like one a father would give to his disrespectful child.
"And when you first meet my daughter and fall in love with the look she sends over her shoulder, her bright beautiful eyes framing her laughing smile.." He paused to give his daughter a smile which she returned.
"And you.. Are gonna want to talk to her and when those hours pass like sprinters during that first timeless conversation." Travis smirked to the audience.
"You will also know with a deep and impending sense of dread, That you, Are going to have to talk, To me when you first come to my home!" He huffed, making gestures with his hands to the audience then to his chest.
"And see the bone carving over my threshold, who try not to imagine your own femurs," Travis let out a soft chuckle, glancing through the laughing people.
"So expertly carved, Pay no attention to my 'Ample' crawl space-" The male on stage made air quotations once he said 'Ample'.
"-My room with the rubber mat and a drain, Be careful." Travis warned no one in particular.
He then pointed a slightly shaking finger like a parent to their child. "Only to approach me with love for my daughter."
"See, I have been seeding her childhood with tap root hugs to weed out indifference and apathy. There will be no 'Daddy Issues' for your teenaged talons to latch upin." Travis sternly added, He was always kind to Arielle and never rude or disrespectful in any way unless she was disrespectful to him or Em.
"If you break her heart, I will hear if snap with the ear I pressed upon her mother's belly.." Travis mumbled into the mic, his voice shaking at the thought of his child being heartbroken.
"The elboe I cradled her head in will send a message to my fist." He warned, raising his left hand to show a fist with small scars on his knuckles.
"My cheeks are attuned to her lips.. I will know if they tremble." Travis whispered, His voice shaking more as he quickly looked away to wipe a few unshed tears away.
"I have taught her that a man should never hit a woman!" He then raised his voice, pointing a finger to the crowd in a slightly playful threathening way.
"Now, My wife would add that you really shouldn't ever hit anybody, but I have taught her that a man should never hit a woman!" Travis yelled, a huff of annoyance coming from his voice.
Travis then, Gave a smirk. "Consider my genes a mark of Cain, You will suffer seven times whatever you do to her. And she will not keep your secret, You can't make fire feel afraid."
The crowd then 'Oo' with a few giggles, Mostly from Em and Arielle as they whispered to each other.
"I have been teaching her love all of her life, And all that I ask is that you continue the lesson." Travis gave a genuine smile as he looked over at his small but growing family.
"Love her, Befriend her, Protect her. Be there when I can't. And when my body gives up to the grave.." Travis paused to look at the ground, making a motion of him setting something down.
"Let that grin that eternity carves into my face be a reflection to the peace that your love brings to her, And we should her along just fine!" Travis smiled, looking around the crowd as they clapped and cheered whilst he held up his index finger to silence them.
"Addendum." He smirked, leaning into the mic to make his voice clear through the speakers.
"To The Girls Who May One Day Date My Daughter!"
"My wife, Is a better shot than I am." Travis chuckled as he headed off the stage as the crowd laughed and cheered again whilst the 23 year old man gave his wife a loving kiss to her lips and his daughter a caring kiss to her forehead.
