CLARK MASTERS HAD TWO WAYS TO GET TO KLAUS, BOTH THANKS TO KOL TELLING HIM, WHICH HE WAS GRATEFUL THAT KOL WAS THE ONE TO FIND OUT HE WAS ALIVE. One way of getting to Klaus; Elena Gilbert, the doopleganger who was still human. And a; Caroline Forbes. He was sure he didn't see the girl at the ball. But, he probably did just didn't care enough to get a name.

Now, his problem was walking around town without being noticed my any Mikaelsons or the trio. But he had to somehow get to Elena. Maybe if he went to the Mystic Grill to bump into her, or the Caroline girl.
Clark knew that the as Kol had said 'Salvatore brothers' would be around Elena. And he didn't want problems with other people just to end up being known and attacked.

Clark had killed plenty of people, almost all with no remorse. He would never kill an animal or kid. He would try his hardest to never kill either. He had only ever killed one kid.  The kid had been bleeding, and he didn't have control over himself yet. And two animals, one being a bear that was about to attack an eight-year-old. And the other being a wolf, a werewolf. They had attacked one of his friends, biting his last friend, who was a vampire.

Clark's hand hovered around the door nod. Klaus would have to find it that he was in town at some point. Clark still needed his revenge after all. And in getting that he would have to show he was here and alive. But if he got his revenge on Klaus, and made him suffer, it was worth it.

Clark yanked the door open. He didn't know if it was the right time to show he was in Mystic Falls, But if he didn't do it now he wouldn't ever think about when the right time was again. After all, he had been in Mystic Falls after about a week.

Clark knew that he could trust Kol to not tell anyone that he was there. But, he had wondered if Rebekah had found out; Would she be able to keep a secret?  He didn't want to doubt the girl, but everyone knew that sometimes her emotions blinded the correct answer.

Clark didn't want his plan to fail. It must succeed, he had to get his revenge. And he didn't care if he had to die or kill millions in the process. 

Klaus will feel guilty, he will feel bad.  Clark will make him terrified. Clark will make him feel as if he could never escape. He will be terrified to even walk in the day-light.

Clark didn't care if he had to die, he didn't care who had to die so he could get his revenge. As long as he gets his revenge, Clark could be killed right after he ruined Klaus, he didn't care.
"Kill or be killed."
