Appearance: Dark blue-violet scales with both amethyst and obsidian black markings and light purple underscales. She has a RainWing ruff and slender snout, with straight NightWing horns. She has a RainWing's delicate build with long fangs and a forked black tongue. Her wings are a gradient of purples with faint silver stars scattered on the underside of them, as well as silver  teardrop scales beside each forest-green eye. 

Personality: Nightshade is a quiet, calm dragon who often relies on her mind for her defences. She's generally pretty chill but she can become ferocious in a heartbeat if something threatens her siblings, whom she's incredibly protective of. She's usually quite guarding of her emotions and mind (she has a mental shield against other mindreaders) 

Likes: Her siblings, her pet snake, 

Dislikes: Skyfire, when her mother looks like she doesn't trust her, having to stop reading at a good part, being told what to do, being treated differently because she's a hybrid princess, 

Flaws: She's willing to do anything to protect those she loves. She can come off as withdrawn and sullen.
