You know how in Fritz Donegan comics every day is a life or death situation? Like, he's going to the grocery store when the city is suddenly attacked by the Imperial Sludge?

I remember I used to think that was stupid. Like, what is up with that? No one's life is that dangerous.

I just realized it's my life.

     Seriously, every day is filled with danger and mayhem. I go on a date and get chained to a wild roller coaster. Cole visits his dad and gets a bunch of stage equipment dumped on him. We have a dance party and Pythor steals the fang blades. This is just in my brother's first few months of being a ninja! I can't remember a day in the past I don't know how long where something dangerous hasn't happened.

    And the thing is, not a lot of dangerous things happened before the ninja were banded together. It wasn't until Kai and the others got their powers that the Serpentine were awakened, the Great Devourer released, Lord Garmadon built the megaweapon and the Overlord attacked, the Digital Overlord built a bunch of nindroids, Master Chen decided to turn his army into Anacondrai, Morro escaped from the cursed realm, or anything as catastrophic as that. Sometimes I wonder if it's our fault for existing. Oh well.

   Occasionally my life feels so unreal, like I'm living in a movie or something. I know that's impossible though. I mean, I think I would know if I was in a movie. It just seems like there's so many life-or-death situations, all the time. Eating dinner could turn dangerous(when it's Cole's turn to cook, it already is) in a heartbeat. Or brushing your teeth. Or playing video games.

     I don't know, maybe I'm just being paranoid. Maybe everyone's life is like his and I just didn't notice!

Whatever is going on, I sure am glad I know Spinjitzu.
