Johnny texted me last night saying 'we should go out tomorrow.' I'm so excited that I overthink what dress I'm going to wear for the so-called date. I even wore light make up since today's Sunday and we're only one week away until graduation.

Graduation huh? We're all going to be separated from everyone as we chose our path to take. I'm sure, I'm going to miss my friends.

"You looked so pretty in that dress, but you're always pretty no matter what you wear," He complimented making me blushed madly.

I was surprised to see him offer his hand as he chuckled lightly, "Take my hand."

I couldn't help but hold both of my cheeks as I feel my face heating up. This isn't the first time I held his hand but being aware of our feelings makes me felt hot all of a sudden.

One step at the time, right? I accepted his hand as he held it like he's holding a fragile thing. Careful enough not to shatter it to pieces but tight enough for me not to breakthrough.

He smiled at me and these are one of the moments, I'm thankful that I'm alive.

We went to a restaurant as he ordered my favorite dishes, of course, he remembered. This is Johnny we're talking about. After we ate, he insisted on paying even if we argued before for like millions of times that we should share the bills. After feeling embarrassed at the restaurant as we caught most of everyone's attention because we bickered, we laughed it off like it was nothing,

And now, we're in his favorite spot. I couldn't help but roll my eyes as we entered the library near our university.

I was a fool for thinking this is a date, he just wanted someone to accompany him.

"Candice, hurry up!" He scolded loudly making everyone shushed at him.

We looked around, trying to find available seats because who would've thought this public library will be packed on freakin' Sunday?

"College Entrance Exam," Johnny stated making me startled but the idea sinks in.

Of course.

I immediately dragged Johnny and luckily, I found a table with four chairs. No one was occupying it at the moment. It was a corner one at the very back too, Johnny's favorite spot.

He smirked at me as he put his phone at the table and started searching for the books.

Knowing Johnny all these years, we didn't come here to sight-see the public library but to review. For what? For the college entrance exam. Come to think of it, I haven't ask Johnny what course he'll take. When we were kids, he told me he wanted to be a doctor. Then when we reached 12 years old, he told me he'll be perfect to be a famous actor. He's so silly!

"What are you giggling about?" He asked, whispering at me making me startled and hit him lightly.

"Oh, did I scared you?" He teased as he put the five books on the table.

I glare at him but he just shrugged it off. Minutes later, he focused on reading as I glanced at his face. Johnny has thick eyebrows, long eyelashes, with hazelnut eyes, not to mention that jawline...

"Stop staring, Candice." He whispered, eyes still looking at the books. I pouted and rested my head on the table.

But as annoying as Johnny can be, this is one part that I loved about him. He's serious at everything he does, whatever it was. So, I'm sure he's serious when he entered a relationship. I can't wait for that day to come!

I could not ask for more than this time together.

I rubbed my eyes and felt a jacket dumped on my shoulders, I roamed my eyes to find Johnny and there he is returning the books at its respective shelves.

Something caught my attention, it was Johnny's phone. He must've left it on, probably unaware.

How cute.

"You're awake?" He asked quietly once he reached the table. I nodded my head and grab my purse.

"Let's go?"

"Right."

It's almost sunset as we walked side by side to go home. He hasn't said anything so I enjoyed this comfortable silence between us.

"Thank you for accompanying me for today. I actually wanted to spend more time with you but you know how important college is right?" He began.

"Don't worry, I enjoyed today," I assured him as I smile widely.

He stopped walking as he took my hand, "I hope that one day, you won't leave my side."

I furrowed my brows at him, "Why would I leave you?"

He simply shrugged and scratched the nape of his neck, "I don't know...maybe I'm not good enough for you?"

"Psssh, you're more than enough for me," I replied, staring at his eyes.

He snorted, "Even if I say I'm not the best at everything?"

What's with Johnny and his silly questions?

"But Johnny Gargano is the best at everything," I stated, making him smile even more.

"Hahahaha damn right, I am. But let's say...what if I'm not?" He asked, expecting an amazing answer. Oh, Johnny Gargano.

"Even if Johnny Gargano is the second-best, I would still choose him," I answered as he pulled me into a hug. I felt something warm on my head. Did he kiss me in there? Who knows?

"Everything you are is everything to me. Forgive me because this seems cliche to hear but to be with you until eternity is what I've always prayed and dreamed of..."

He let go of me as he took my hands, staring deeply at my eyes, "Walking alongside with Johnny Gargano in this life... will it be enough for you?"

"I could not ask for more," I replied and soon he pulled me into a kiss, matching with a perfect sunset on the background like fairy tales. How romantic!

Extra:

Something caught my attention, it was Johnny's phone. He must've left it on, probably unaware.

I scrunched up my brows, before widening my eyes in realization.

"Oh my!" I gasped.

Seeing the home screen makes me feel annoyed but at the same time, warm inside.

It's a picture of me sleeping in this library, next to me is Johnny taking a selfie.
