【RHEA RIPLEY's POINT OF VIEW 】

After telling Adam that I like him as well, there's part of me who squeals in joy when he hugged me that night. It's like being lost in heaven when I'm lost in his blue tiny eyes.

"Morning Rhea," He greeted wearing a black shirt when he approached me. I just nodded at him but he frowned.

"Is there something wrong?" He softly asked. Damn, what's with his voice? It's like a melody to my ears.

"You're too close..." I muttered scratching my right cheek, looking away at him.

I heard him chuckled as he pinches my left cheek, "I missed you."

"We just saw each other last Friday, reptile," I replied, why am I being embarrassed for? This is just Adam Cole, a reptile.

"Stop calling me that, babe." The endearment was soft yet a whisper from his mouth.

"And don't call me that," I shot back.

He let go of my cheek when Matt Riddle entered the classroom, he went back to his seat and started playing on his phone.

How will I get used to that? Adam Cole's attention and love are pure. I don't mind not knowing what I'm headed for, it's the feelings that I didn't expect. He glanced at me and I get weak! Isn't this what's called romance? Ha ha, I'm screwed.

"Morning Rhea~ you looked beautiful with your long hair," Toni complimented and I just smile at her. I sighed, not knowing what to do.

When we heard the bell rings, it's our favorite time. LUNCH BREAK! I frowned while staring at the twenty unread messages on my phone. What the hell is wrong with reptile? He keeps texting in the middle of the discussion.

I was about to reply when Matt Riddle suddenly dragged me. I'm strong, I know but he's stronger than me.

"Stop being a slowpoke Rhea broooo, I don't want to lose our seats." He muttered and I put my phone back in my pocket.

"Where's Toni?" I asked and he smirked at me, "Already at the cafeteria."

Oh yes, Toni likes Adam Cole and she's sitting at his table.

"Where are you going Rhea bro?" Matthew asked but I ignored him.

"Don't disturb Toni! She's finally making a move to her crush," Matt warned me, he even dared to stop me by holding my arm.

I give him a fake smile as I gritted my teeth. I noticed Shayna sitting next to reptile. I almost forgot Shayna. I scratched my forehead at what I'm seeing. Why is Adam Cole so charismatic to women? I played with my foods as I kept looking at my wristwatch. I glanced at him and he's busy talking to Toni and Shayna. I grabbed my phone from my pocket and send him a message.

After that, I caught him searching for someone. That's obviously me.

"Are you alright Rhea?" Mia asked, concern's obvious on her voice. I nodded at her and just drink my bottle of water.

"Rhea," I almost spat my drink when I heard Toni's voice. THAT SURPRISED ME!

I raised my brow at her, "You should sit with us." She suggested. Something's wrong with her voice and I can't pinpoint it.

"Why would I?" I asked but she just shrugged and turned around to go back.

I checked my phone but there's no reply. I followed Toni as I lifted my tray, "I'll be accompanying Toni for a while."

"Okay Rhea bro," Matt was the first one who spoke. I didn't wait for them to reply as I walked towards reptile's table.

"Can I sit here?" I asked while eyeing Adam. He grunted but nodded his head.

Alright, what happened to them? Their mood was not good.

"Is it alright with you?" I asked Shayna who's sitting next to Reptile.

"A-ah o-of course, go ahead." She's even stuttering?

So, we're back in the usual seat. Adam and Shayna in front of us while Toni and me on the other side.

I glanced at Adam but he's scowling. "What were you talking about?" I innocently asked but my attention on reptile only.

"About how Adam won against his friends and Candice at board games before when they sleepover at Johnny's" Toni replied eating her lunch like the usual.

I waited for Adam to stared back at me but he seems pissed off. He's ignoring me all of the sudden. We were alright this morning, what in the world happened?

When Shayna went back to her friends, Matthew suddenly dragged Toni, mentioning about video games. I immediately grab Adam's arm, "Something's wrong? Care to tell me?"

"I don't know. Ask yourself." He coldly muttered and instead of getting hurt, I'm mad.

What the hell is going on? We were fine just a while ago. I don't remember doing things that will make like that. Is it about not replying back at his text messages? If that so, it's a silly reason because I don't open my phone in class.

I just let him be. Is what I wanted to do but him acting cold towards me was really weird.

When I walked inside the classroom, I saw him talking to Kyle so I went back to my seat. I can't focus on what Mr. Kassius Ohno's lesson and I felt sleepy.

"Rhea..." I heard Toni's voice called my name.

"Hmm?" I asked rubbing my eyes.

"Your phones ringing," She pointed out and I immediately take it and thankful that I named the number by "BABE"

"You're dating someone?" Toni mused with a teasing voice and I just patted her head.

"Where's Sir?"

"Already dismissed the class, by the way, Sir E's late..." She uttered while writing her notes.

I dial his number as I waited for him to pick it up. But he's not doing anything. I sighed at his action. Are we falling apart this early? This is sucks.

"Hey brooo, can you accompany me to buy a juice at the cafeteria," Matt Riddle asked me as I scratched my brow, "You can do it on your own Matthew," I groaned.

"Please!"

"Fine! Stop annoying me!" I sighed in defeat, stood up from my seat.

He punched the air, "This is why Rhea is my favorite bro."

"Stop talking nonsense and let's go."

When I get back, I saw 15 missed calls from him. I don't care what pranks are you playing Adam Cole but you're pissing me off.

"Rhea..." Toni called out.

"WHAT?" I snapped but she just giggles.

"Adam kept staring at me, he's so cute," She pointed out.

And Adam is indeed staring at her. I shook my head, there's no point feeling jealous. Wait, jealous? I glanced at Toni and laughed. There's no way. Why would I be jealous of her?

Then I remembered Adam Cole kept pestering her since day one. And that thought made my blood boil in anger.

"Bro! Can you look at this?" Matt tapped my shoulder and scowled.

I turned my attention to him, "Go ask Mia or Dream, Matthew."

"They're busily flirting with their special someone." He reasoned out, pointing the couples.

"What is it this time?" I asked, another day of dealing with Matt Riddle who needs constant attention.

"My eyes hurt...." He said refraining himself from rubbing his eyes.

"Huh?"

"Can you blow some air to it?" He requested making me sighed in annoyance.

"You're such a hopeless kid, Matt Riddle!" I uttered, glaring at him.

"RHEA BROOO" He called out like a five years old whining kid.

Why are my friends like this?

"Alright, open your eye and get closer you idiot!" I instructed. We're only inches apart as I hold his hair and was about to blow air at his eye when someone yanked my arm. What the fuck?

"What happened to your eye, Matt Riddle?" He sarcastically asked. I removed his hand from my arm and faces Matt Riddle, "Come here, Matthew!"

But Adam pushes me lightly as he faces Matthew, "You know what? I can do it for you." He suggested.

"You will bro?"

"But I'm going to do it," I insist pushing reptile as well.

"Stop being stubborn Rhea and go back to your seat," Adam Cole growled not looking at me.

I sensed Matthew glancing at the two of us as he scratched his head, "I'm just...going to ask Toni..."

I gritted my teeth in anger as I walked out of the classroom. I sensed someone's presence at my back.

"Rhea." He called out but I ignored him as I walked towards the rooftop. He closes the door and I sighed.

"What is wrong with you?" I asked as I turned around to face him.

"You...you were the one who started it." He even dares to glare at me, this reptile.

"I started what?" I asked in confusion.

"Huh? You're clueless?"

"I don't understand what the hell?"

"You know what Rhea, how hard it is for you to reject someone's request?"

"What are you talking about? Is this about Matthew's eye problem?"

"Just how hard it is for you to reject him? He kept pestering you the whole day and here you are obeying him!"

He kept blabbing nonsense but is he perhaps? There's no way, right? With Matthew of all people?

"Rhea! Are you listening to me?" I glanced at my wristwatch and there's still time since Teacher's Eva's late.

"Rhea!" He called out as he put his hands on my shoulders. I raised a brow at him and he's still mad.

"Yes, babe?" I asked sweetly and he seems confused.

"What did you just called me?" He asked, wanting to hear it again. You're so damn cute my reptile.

"Babe," I repeated as I held his face.

"Y-you're calling me babe?" He asked surprised at my sudden sweet action.

I stared in the sky, then at his eyes, "Hmm? Babe also called me more than fifteen times today, what should I do?"

His face suddenly lights up as he bites his lower lips before he speaks, "You mean my caller id at your phone was named BABE?"

I nodded making him smile widely. In just simple things like this, he's really happy.

"So babe, don't get jealous at Matthew. We're just friends." I stated, reassuring him. Seriously? He's getting jealous of Matthew, of all people.

Adam's ears are turning red as he stuttered on his voice, "Huh? Jealous? I'm not jealous at that twin tails braided guy!"

"Oh really?"

"Really." I'm not convinced. I removed his hands on my shoulders as I asked a question, "Why do you keep staring at Toni by the way?"

"Oh, you saw that?"

"Uh-huh."

"I keep calling her to wake you up." He admitted making me smirked.

"Toni doesn't know anything. I haven't told her yet." I don't think I can.

"Is that so? Don't tell me you're jealous of Toni..." He teased which makes me shrugged.

"Huh? Nice try reptile, I won't get jealous of my friends." I proudly stated.

"But I used to have a crush on Toni..." He admitted and I know he's studying my face. Waiting for a reaction. Tsk!

Of course, I know that. I just smiled and feigned innocence, "Oh really?"

"You meant Kyle?"

"Don't joke around, reptile." I slightly hit his stomach and he faked a groan.

"Will you stop calling me that?!"

"Babe."

He gives me a small smile, "You seriously haven't told Toni or your friends yet?"

I shook my head as I frowned, "Not yet." Never.

"Can I tell my friends?" He asked for permission.

"Are they alright? I heard Bobby and Roderick fought yesterday." I changed the subject.

"Roddy even packed his things last night." I heard a hint of sadness in his voice. So it was serious huh?

"Are you alright?"

"I felt sad about my friends. I wanted to do something but Kyle told me that we should give them some time to think." He's frowning while telling me that.

I nodded and I guess Kyle is using his head once in a while.

"Let's go back, Adam," I suggested and started walking ahead of him when he yanked my arm once again. Does he really think he's in a movie?

"Hmmm? What is---" My words were cut when he suddenly hugs me.

"Sorry for being a jerk," He muttered, tightening his hold. I can't breathe this reptile really!

I tapped on his back and uttered, "Apology accepted." Let go or I'll throw you in this building.

He let go and held my hand, "Let's go."

He really thought he's a romantic guy and I was a fool for feeling happy about this.
