HALLOWEEN SPECIAL!

Bryce sighed deeply as he flattened the cookie dough on the pan, his fingers pressing down on the little pumpkin shaped cookie crunchers. A laugh escaped into the air causing the blonde to turn around and see his husband holding the little girl between his lap. Their attention turned towards the scary movie known as Halloween which played on the large tv. A small smile painted his lips as this happened.

It was one day before Halloween and Lily's class was having a party for the whole day. He planned on doing them before hand but time wasn't on his side so here he was fixing cookies at nine in the night. Bryce took a glance at the clock before turning his attention back to the two figures now standing in the living room, "Ryan it's almost her bed time."

The two rushed in at that, Lily on the olders shoulders with a small grin plastered on her face. "Alright. I'll take her up after this movie okay babe?" Ryan grinned as he leaned in to place a kiss on the blondes cheeks. "Yeah yeah." Bryce rolled his eyes as he felt the man press a soft kiss on his cheek.

He watched as they disappeared in the living room again.

It had been a while since the toe curling note the Wreckers had received and since then things had calmed. Of course the police had said it was just some kids screwing around but the blonde felt it was more so he made his husband request an officer to stop by every night except the holidays. This made him feel much safer.

Bryce could care less about his safety however. His daughter on the other hand was another story to be told. Unlike Ryan, he felt something was still messed up around this town. Even when the woman was gone.

It tore him apart to even think about something happening to his little girl.

Bryce jumped at the feeling of a hand on his shoulder. His blue eyes locked with his lovers hazel ones and he let out a sigh. "You okay Bryce?" Ryan asked, giving a look to show concern. "You look a little pale.." The blonde only looked away from his husbands gaze.
"Ryan what if this isn't over?" His question was a whisper.

"It is."

"But what if it isn't?"

"There's a lot of what if's baby. Trust me okay?" Ryan embraced his husband. "I won't let anything happen to you or Lily.."

Bryce inhaled deeply at those words as his fingers dug into his boyfriends back for closure, his eyes closing. He believed Ryan more than anyone in this world. Once they tore apart he went upstairs and peered into the cracked door where his daughter laid snuggled up to her stuffed bunny, the cat curled up next to her feet.

•Next Day...

"Lily you look so beautiful." Ryan smiled as he fixed his daughters queen crown. The little girl looked up to Bryce with a warm smile and he could've sworn his heart had melted right there. Lily was in a red and black checkered shirt with a black skirt and heels and her hair was pulled back into a ponytail.

Bryce and Ryan had decided to go with the Alice in wonderland theme since she wanted to be a queen and not a princess. Bryce was the white rabbit while Ryan was the mad hatter.

Lily grabbed her fathers hand before grabbing her bucket so they could go outside to trick or treat. "Everyone ready?" Bryce said, opening the door. "Let's go!" Lily called as she took a step out the door.

The family went from house to house getting candy. Ryan and Bryce stayed close behind their daughter who lead the way most of the time. Until a woman stopped them, it was their daughters teacher. "Stay beside me okay?" Ryan whispered to his daughter who nodded slightly.

"I'm so glad I seen you two!" The woman said as she held her sons hand. "I wanted to talk to you about something I gave out two weeks ago. Lily is missing it for some reason. My book has her marked that she was there but others teachers don't."

Bryce tapped his foot as his husband talked to the woman standing in front of them. His eyes began to wander around until they landed on the empty spot beside Ryan. In panic, he looked around.

His blue eyes widen once he seen his daughter standing in front of a black van with a small smile on her face. Someone was holding out candy. Bryce gasped as he gripped Ryan's sleeve, hearing going out.

"LILY!" Bryce screamed as she reached out. The child froze and turned to look to her father who had taken off in a sprint for her. She let out a cry as someone grabbed her and pulled her back into the van, doors sealing shut.

Bryce's heart sunk as he fell to his knees in front of the crown that had slipped from his daughters head. The only sound was his heart pounding through his chest as he gripped the crown tightly. Ryan fell beside his husband to comfort him as he too began to cry.

His hazel eyes locked on a piece of papers that was under a rock. He felt his stomach turn at the words.
