Victim.14
Cross of Saints.
Bryce stared at his wall in pure horror as blood trickled down it. The letter in his hands fell and hit the floor as he nearly gaged at the sight set before him. Of all things to come home too this had to be the worse.
After stopping by the store and driving a long hour out to Brocks then to his home he opens the front door only to find his house wrecked and a message in a stray cats blood. His face turned sickly pale as he leaned against the door, trying to keep himself calm. In blood was the words, "He Has Said You!" Bryce frowned deeply as he remembered what the letter said.
And God shall not take mercy from those who kiss the Devils lips. The day man believes it is okay to love the same sex is the day I shall send an Angel of destruction down to them. Let this be known my servant that you know his sins.

Within minutes he had made a phone call to the police who reacted to it with shock but they stayed on the line with him. He was shaking head to toe and honestly his fear was beyond the point of just shaking violently. Bryce was holding himself as he leaned his back against the wall.
He honestly didn't know why the crazy woman was starting to target him but for whatever reason, if it was for him being gay, just the thought of death holding his hand made him shutter. His blue eyes watering at the thought of dying. How could someone hate him for being himself?
If this was her only reason he would love to rub it in her face that killing even for God is the biggest sin man or woman could make.
Shortly after realizing what this meant he held himself close as tears streamed down his cheeks. What would everyone think or even say about him if photos got out or even that note. It wasn't the worlds right to know what he was..
The door burst open and he flinched only to look up and see Ryan who held his gun high as he scanned the area. His eyes fell on Bryce and he frowned slightly, "Oh Bryce.." His whisper was hushed as he lowered his weapon and knelt down beside the smaller boy. "Smitty check around the rooms!" Smitty nodded as he dashed in the back.
Bryce didn't know why he held onto Ryan but for some reason his body clung to the other as if he was the only person trying to save his life. Tears streaming down his cheeks and hitting the others clothing. "Shh..it's okay.." He heard Ryan whisper as his hair was pet.
Bryce stared at the wall as camera lights flashed brightly in his home. Ryan and Smitty were in the other corner talking about the situation before the Canadian sighed deeply. "Ryan this could be related to the Brian's case we've got. Since the two were friends..if so this means that Bryce has become a target.." Ryan knew his partner was onto something but he didn't want to believe the boy was a target.
Then again he really wouldn't be suprised. Not after the rumor going around that Bryce was snooping around town asking questions he had no business asking.
Ryan looked to the blonde and gave a hand to his partner which caused the male to nod as he understood the meaning. Hazel eyes peered down at the man huddled on the floor until his lips parted slightly and his knees bent. He knelt. "Bryce," his voice was smooth as his hand rested on the males leg. "I need you to talk to me okay?"
Bryce looked into the hazel eyes of the sinner in front of him and nodded slightly as he shifted his gaze away. "Okay.." Ryan heard how upset he was and clenched his jaw. "This won't go out in the newspaper Bryce. I'll be damned if I let people criticize you..but on a serious note Bryce, I need to know who you've talked too.. Anyone and everyone."
Bryce gave a choked chuckle as he looked up at the man before him. "I'll talk Ohm..only if you promise to protect me.." His voice was low and the older gave a nod before letting the words pass through, "I promise Bryce."
That was all it took. Bryce listed every name he could remember and even described what some looked like. Ryan, took notes and listened closely until standing to his feet and saying something completely irrelevant.
•Later...
Bryce pulled himself into the window and landed on his back with a groan. The floor beneath him creaked loudly and even made a cracking sound. Light flashed across the sky as rain poured down and thunder roared like a lion.
The blonde male fixed his coat before stepping over the large board in the floor. He wasted no time going through the papers that had been set on the table. His blue eyes scanning over the little girl in the photo he held in his hand firmly.
Suddenly the sound of the door creaking downstairs made him freeze on spot. Heels clacking against the stairs echoed and a chilling voice rang through the air, "Bryce where are you dear? I know you're here." A slight shiver ran up the boys spine when she said his name. The voice so firm and cold.
Bryce snuck as best as he could back to the window, his knees preparing for a jump. With a loud grunt he managed to get his soaked hands on the edge and pull until he was able to fit back through. Bryce landed on the ground and pulled himself up quickly in hopes of getting away.
As he ran down the driveway the photo he had gotten slipped from his coat and landed on the ground. Bryce though, didn't take notice. Instead he ran like it was the end..
