Victim.03

Trouble.

And through all my dreams I have completed another my friend. God himself has told me about it in my dreams that he is so proud of me. I had saved a patient today but with the same result as the others, death. That smell lingers but I've become used to it. Before the woman died I managed to get her beautiful eyes, unlike most victims of mine, I'm keeping hers. They're a beautiful green and I find it hard to look away from that jar sometimes. I hid her body in the woods near the statue of Mary; so many bodies that I thought she'd have fun. I must go unfortunately my love because tomorrow is a new day..

Bryce closed the book as he swallowed a bit from what he had just read. The book he had in his hands was someone's journal but not just anyone's journal for it was a killers journal. "Okay Bryce," he whispered to himself as he relaxed a bit. "Calm down. So the way I see it is this is either real or fake." Even Bryce wasn't sure where he was taking this but the shovel seemed to be calling his name in a hushed whisper. "No way are you going to dig up a body."

Dirt fell to the ground into another large pile of dirt as Bryce dug deep into the ground. His hands ached with pain because of how long he's been digging but it didn't stop him for his curiosity maxed out the pain. Finally his shovel hit something and it made a bone cracking sound, he flinched. Bryce looked down into the dirt and moved some of it off with his boot to see white..

"What're you doing?!" A man yelled from behind him and he immediately jerked back away from the pile of bones he had discovered. His face was pale-too pale and this caused the male to raise a brow as he peered into the hole. Bryce watched as his eyes widen and he looked straight at Bryce as if to blame him.

Before Bryce knew it sirens echoed through the air and he was standing at gun point by the man who had yelled over the phone that he had caught a cold blooded killer. Bryce was
Trying so hard to keep himself from shaking as he held him arms, what had he gotten himself into?

Detective Wrecker and officer Fong stood there locked in conversation; the hazel eyed detective couldn't keep his eyes away from the male who was staring at the hole. "I don't know man," Fong whispered as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Doesn't seem like the type to murder.." Ryan glanced him over and took in his appearance.

The blonde was wearing a dark blue button up shirt with a brown coat and blue jeans. He definitely didn't have the taste of a madman but most importantly, he wasn't a female. Based off the evidence they had gathered it was a female they were after and not a male.

"Right on that." Ryan threw the cigarette on the ground and smashed it with his shoe, feeling as it was his place to do so. He made his way to the male and crossed his arms over his chest as the male stared down that hole. "What was you doing here?"

The sudden question made Bryce look up at him and when Ryan's hazel eyes stared into the blue ones he found himself lost. But only for a minute. "I was trying to find something.." His voice was shaky as his eyes returned back to the bone pile. "But I found something else instead.." Ryan raised an eyebrow as he looked the man standing in front of him. "What was it?" The question made the blonde male look up, "Something my friend and I buried a long time ago.."

Ryan couldn't tell if the blonde was lying or not but something told him he wasn't any harm to them and he sure as hell couldn't do this much to a person without having a mental breakdown. "Alright..well sit tight and I'll get to you shortly.." He sighed as he turned around and left the blonde hugging himself. Smitty was standing with his arms crossed over his chest watching his partner make his way to him, "What'd he have to say?" Smitty watched as his partner glanced back at the other male who just kept his gaze into the dark pit. "Told me he was looking for something him and his friend buried. I don't know if it's true or not though honestly.."

Smitty hummed as he sighed and put weight onto one leg. "Definitely doesn't look like someone to stir up trouble..he's good looking to be young though." Ryan's eyes went a little wide as he looked up to his partner who was smirking teasingly. "You're something else." Ryan gave a shake to his head as his partner smiled and looked to Bryce who was looking right at them.

He could tell they were talking about him because of he look he got from Ryan.

"Anyways," Ryan began. "What'd the old man say?"

"Said he caught him digging and he didn't know if the man had something to do with the bones..aka he just did whatever came to mind."

"Damn it. There's no telling how old them bones are either.."

"I mean if I had to take a guess they look a little well over a couple of months man. If not weeks.."

"Smitty," Ryan shook his head. "You're not an expert."

Smitty gave a light laugh as he clenched his stomach a little at what his friend just told him. "You're right Ohm, I sure as hell ain't. Do you want me to tell mister McQuaid he can leave now?" Ryan looked back to Bryce then Smitty who held a grin. "Um, no. I will.." Smitty shrugged and said, "Can't blame a guy for trying."

Ryan made his way to Bryce and stuck his hands in his pockets as the blonde looked to him again. "You can leave McQuaid but my advice would be to stay away from here for a while. Old Rick over there still thinks you did them bones.." Bryce looked over to the old man then back to Ryan. "Thanks.."
