changbin stands in front of felix's door once again. his hand was better, it was swollen and quite red for some time but did swell down. he wanted to remind felix that he was okay, he knew the boy needed some reassurance after all he's been through. although, he was guilty of killing chan, that point would not be brought up at the moment. nor, at any moment.
so he knocks on his door, his knuckles hitting the door three times as usual. "felix, it's binnie.." he says as a short notice. "I just wanted to let you know my hand is okay. don't feel guilty, it's not your fault."
he receives no answer, maybe he was taking a nap? most likely ignoring him but thinking positively stuck to changbin. he presses his ear against the door yet he can't hear anything. giving up on that method, he decided to talk to the thing that is blocking him and felix away from each other. he takes a deep breath and starts to speak. "felix, you know I'm here for you."
no response is given, but it's okay. changbin was willing to wait forever. "I want you to know that you don't have to be afraid to talk to me. I know we just met, I know I've had a past with chan but don't let those things get in the way. I promise you, I will not leave you."
changbin smiles, his eyes starting to get somewhat watery. he couldn't lie, he was somewhat of a sensitive boy. "felix, if you were to open this door right now. I'd give you a bear hug because you definitely need one. please stop crying, with your head down and knees tucked in. don't degrade yourself because of what you did, I promise it'll get better. I promise you that because I'll ensure it."
changbin knocks on the door once more, "the day you open this door and let me in...I'll thank you. but for now, take your time. have a good day lix."
changbin walks away from his room, walking off to his dad's office. he doesn't turn back, but little does he know.
the door opens. and a faint, "binnie..." escapes from felix's mouth as he wonders where the boy has left to. he has wiped his tears and heard every word the boy had told him.
