I sighed as the other team's running back ran another touch down.

"Come on guys, we can do better than this." I muttered.

"Lyn, there's no way we can win. Or even make a decent comeback at this point. But we're the cheerleaders we need to stay preppy." Kassie told me.

I nodded, my eyes still trained on the play.

I watched Caiden go in to tackle, but his head was down and he tackled to high. The other player overpowered him and landed on his right shoulder.

As the play ended he stood up and rolled his shoulder.

It looked injured.

But I'm not sure.

A few plays later the game ended and the people in the stands flooded the field.

The air was getting harder to breathe. Windows were fogging up, and the room was so full of people.

I left my half empty cup of beer on a table with many other cups and tried to push my way through the crowd.

Although we lost the game, everyone still showed up to the after party. It was at one of the other player's house.

Well more like mansion. The place was massive, it took me half an hour just to find a bathroom.

I had opened many wrong doors, unintentionally walking in on couple hooking up, before finding the right room.

Now I was sufficiently intoxicated and in desperate need of fresh air.

I grabbed on to some random guy's shoulder as I almost tripped over my own feet.

He turned around, and quickly his expression turned from agitated, to a smirk.

"Hey," He grabbed my waist to steady me. "You good?"

I slowly nodded my head, too shocked to say anything.

He was so hot.

His jawline was so sharp it could probably cut my hand if I touched it. He had dark brown hair that stuck up slightly. The light dusting of freckles on his nose gave him a boyish charm. His lips were pink and so fucking kissable.

"How much have you had to drink?" He cocked his head to the side a concerned look on his face.

I shrugged, still unable to form words.

God he was so gorgeous.

I couldn't help myself anymore, I grabbed his face and slammed our lips together.

He heisted at first, but slowly he melted in to it.

It wasn't passionate or lustful. It was sloppy and needy.

His grip tightened on my waist, and I pulled on his hair on the nape of his neck.

As we parted for air he smiled.

"I don't even know you name." He stated.

"Ashlyn." I muttered.

"Well Ashlyn, you're a pretty good kisser. I'm Liam by the way."

I just smiled before grabbing his face again, and smashing our mouths together.

He slipped his tongue in my mouth, and I let him do whatever.

He trailed kisses down my jaw and to my neck.

I found myself sorta bored as he sucked and nibbled on my skin.

I opened my eyes and spotted Kassie across the room.

She quickly started approaching me, and grabbed me by my shoulders, pulling Liam off of me.

"Let's get you home Lyn." She said as she dragged me away.

I spotted the annoyed look on Liam's face but it didn't really bother me that much.

He was really good looking, but there was nothing special about our kiss.

"How drunk are you?" Kassie frowned.

"Ith's not that bad." I slurred.

"Okay we're gonna go back to the hotel." She dragged me by my arm out the front door.

I almost fell down the steps, when two strong hands steadied me.

"What's going on?" Caiden furrowed his brows.

"She's drunk. Here take her, I'm gonna go find Kent and Kade then we're leaving."

Kassie shoved me in to his strong arms. He wrapped his arm around my torso and sat me down on the steps.

I leaned in to his side for support.

His tattooed hand rubbed up and down my arm in a soothing motion.

"What are your tattoos for?" I looked up at him.

His expression hardened and he looked away from me. He watched a drunk girl stumble down the driveway before puking in a bush.

He cringed momentarily before turning his attention to the moon.

"Because I liked them." He finally said.

"There's gotta be another reathon." I slurred, giving him a slight shove.

"There is."

"Then tell me." I whined.

He took a deep breath and looked down at my eyes.

His eyes looked more blue than the usual grey.

"It's for my mom and my brother."

I didn't say anything, waiting for him to elaborate.

"Kohlton and my mom, they, well they died when I was eleven. They got in to a car accident. I never wanted to forget them. Not that I think I would forget but ya'know what I mean. So I got a this tattoo of them."

I didn't know what to say. So I leaned my head on his shoulder and wrapped my arms around his torso.

I could feel his abs through his thin shirt. They moved as he breathed in and out.

He smelled really nice too. Like clothes softener and old spice. But with a hint of beer.

I closed my eyes and tried to fight sleep.

I fluttered my eyes open.

My head was resting against something hard.

I lifted it off and looked around. My eyes adjusted to the dark.

A familiar face was looking ahead.

Caiden was carrying me. Bridal style.

I wasn't sure where we were going but I knew that it was dark and he was walking down the sidewalk next to an empty street.

"Do you want me to carry her?" Kade's voice asked.

"No, she's pretty light." Caiden replied.

After a few more moments Kassie broke the silence.

"Do we even know where we're going?"

"Yeah I think so, the hotel should be right around this corner." Kent spoke.

I breathed in the cool night air mixed with the smell of laundry detergent and old spice.

Warm air hit me as we stepped inside a brightly lit room.

Caiden carried me down the hall and to the elevator.

He walked to my room, Kassie unlocked the door and he put me down on the bed in my corner of the hotel room.

He pulled the comforter over me, and tucked a piece of my air behind my ear.

"Good night Ashlyn." He mumbled. "Hope you keep sleeping well."

I guess he thought I was asleep and didn't hear him.
