I was excited when I found out that Pokémon Sword and Shield has a Battle Tower. I thought that it was a step in the right direction towards a new Battle Frontier in the next game. I thought that they'd make a unique boss/tycoon/maiden for this Galar Battle Tower, a new character for me to get attached to.

I was too hopeful.

There isn't a boss for the Galar Battle Tower.

Are you fucking kidding me, GameFreak? Sure, the Battle Facility fans are a niche crowd to pander to, but we've waited so damn long for something good. I'm still gonna buy Sword so I at least have something to look forward to, but come on.
