You're like my favorite book,
On the side of my bed;
And I'll read you again and again,
Until the day I'm dead.

I travel between your stories,
Flipping through the pages;
And read every minute of your past,
You've been hiding since ages.

I fold the end of the pages,
That I wish to read again;
And bleed into the intoxicating smell,
Of your happiness and pain.

And as I taste your book,
On the tip of my tongue;
I finally understand the story,
Behind Your every word stung.

Your ink is the oxygen filling my
lungs,
That helps me to breathe;
And maybe you act all calm and composed,
But I can sense a storm forming beneath.

And I finally go to sleep
As I hold you tighter
Because the story of this reader
Is same
as the story of the writer.
