Elsa pulled her glove back over her hand once class was over and she now stood alone at her locker, the rose Jack made her sitting quietly inside after she had made a small pedestal of Ice for it to balance on. Elsa smiled shyly at the memory of having someone in class with the same powers as her own. Though he doubted he had the same problems as she did. Releasing a heavy sigh, Elsa shut her locker before heading to her next class, which had to do with the Magical Beasts in the Stables. This was one of Elsa's favorite classes by far.
Elsa smiled once she spotted Hiccup heading outside to the Stables in the back as well, and ran up to tap his shoulder. He turned and smiled. "Hey, Elsa. You ready?"
Elsa nodded eagerly. "I can't wait to see Ingrid."
Hiccup laughed and shook his head. "I just can't wait to get back to Training with Toothless again."
She grinned back and nudged him in the arm. "Guess we were both waiting for the school year to start then, huh?"
Hiccup gave her one of his crooked-toothed smiles. "You bet."
Elsa chuckled quietly under her breath as they both followed the rest of the Beast Taming class to the Stables, where they confronted their teacher, Susan Pevinsy--one of the Queens of Narnia--who would be telling them all she knew, since most of the Creatures in the Stables came from Narnia themselves. Susan wasn't considered Magical, even though she was in a world that was, so she was just labeled as a Norm, but knew everything there was to Magic. Her own personal weapon was a Magic Bow and Arrows that would never miss it's target so long as she believed in it. She also happened to be one of Elsa's favorite teachers.
Elsa then noticed a blue hood standing up front with a curved brown staff in one hand, and shrunk back to hide behind Hiccup, hoping against hope that he wouldn't notice her. Hiccup glanced at his icy friend out of the corner of his brown eyes, but didn't say anything. Elsa was more than grateful Rapunzel didn't share this class with them. She would've been shouting her blonde head off for Jack to come hang out with them. Luckily Hiccup was more chill about things like that. Oh, punny, Elsa thought wryly to herself.
After Susan began listing off which Creatures were available to ride, she sent off each of her students to find one that wouldn't mind their company. Elsa practically sped off for Ingrid's stall and slipped inside the gate with a secret smile on her face once she spotted her feathery friend napping peacefully in the corner.
Ingrid had been labeled untameable due to her always pecking at people and bucking them off of her when they tried to ride her. But with Elsa, she was always easy-going. Even though the frost girl was told never to ride her, Elsa did it anyway, and both she and Ingrid enjoyed every bit of it. Elsa wasn't normally the rule breaker by nature. That was more of her sister, Anna. But with Ingrid, Elsa went all sorts of wild. They were alike in that way. Plus, she was one of the rare few that could get Elsa to use her powers freely in front of the Griffin, saying that she adored the refreshing breeze Elsa's powers provided her. Elsa only ever used her Ice powers in front of Ingrid if she agreed to call her 'Grid' instead.
Elsa slowly crept up on Grid's sleeping form and reached for her tail, giving it a hard yank as she squawked awake and jerked her beady Eagle eyes at the perpetrator while narrowing them dangerously. Elsa giggled to herself as Ingrid stood up and shook herself free of sleep while spreading her wings wide. "You know, if I didn't know you well enough by now, I would've attacked you."
Elsa casually waved her off and walked up to stroke her beak as she purred beneath her touch, closing her golden-yellow eyes in appreciation. "You couldn't hurt me even if you tried," Elsa told her, and the massive Griffin snorted into her hand.
"True. So what's the motive for today?"
Elsa grinned. "Riding lessons."
Grid squawked while raising her giant Eagle wings high. "Then what are we waiting for?"
Elsa laughed and ran around to Ingrid's stall gate, peeking it open so that she wouldn't get caught being with Ingrid by Susan, before pushing it all the way open and urging her forward as she rushed out, her wings already spread for flight. Elsa quickly closed her stall, erasing any evidence that she had been there and ran for the awaiting Griffin as she jumped up onto her back, her wings opened fully and her body ready to take off when a voice came from behind them, "I'm pretty sure Ingrid was non ride-able, Elsa Arendelle."
Elsa froze up as Grid did the same, turning with both their heads bowed to face the Huntress instructor with crossed arms as she approached the two of them. "I-I'm sorry, Susan. It's just, Ingrid is the only one I will ride, and I've been doing it ever since I first met her."
"Mmhm. Is that so?"
Elsa hastily nodded her head, her gloved hands clenched behind her back tightly as Ingrid furled her wings down tightly to her sides. "It is, Ma'am. Ingrid will only let me ride her."
Elsa heard Susan let out a laugh then, and snapped her head up in surprise at the sound. "Very well. You may go now. I'm sure she'd like to spread her wings since she got moved from Narnia."
A slow grin found it's way onto the ice girl's lips. "Really?" Susan nodded, and Elsa laughed while jumping onto Grid's back since she had slipped off once being caught. "Thank you, Susan!" Elsa called back at her once Grid had taken to the skies and she was straddling her sides, Elsa's gloved hands buried in her neck feathers as her wings beat against her hips. Elsa laughed joyfully, allowing the wind to pull back the hood of her black sweater and for her braided white-blonde hair to fly in the breeze.
Elsa leaned forward to rest her face against Grid's warm feathers as they tickled her nose until they were above the clouds and away from everyone else. A sudden high-pitched screech alerted them to look back over their shoulders, only to find Hiccup strapped in the saddle of Toothless' back as the Night Fury Dragon sped up to them both, matching their pace perfectly as she smiled over at her friend.
Hiccup smiled back before giving her a mock salute, diving down with his Dragon as Grid slowed her pace so that we were just floating on air. Elsa sighed and relaxed against her Griffin's body as she squawked in the air, her voice echoing around them as the ice woman giggled when something blue sped right past them, causing Grid to jerk to a stop and flap her wings rapidly so that they were steady and Elsa wouldn't fall off her back.
Gripping her feathers tightly and trying her hardest not to fall off, Elsa looked around for the blue figure that had caused them to halt so suddenly in their path. Elsa gasped once spotting the figure high above them. She couldn't believe her eyes.
Jack Frost was flying directly above them as his staff made a trail of Ice that formed into tiny little Snowflakes that showered on both Elsa and Grid. Grid purred as the cold flakes hit her body and melted into Elsa's bleach-blonde hair. Elsa looked up at Jack to find him smirking widely down at her, before flying off with the wind in tow. Elsa blinked questioningly. What was he trying to do exactly?
Could Jack possibly be flirting with her?

Once Grid and Elsa had headed back to the stables, the snow woman kissed her beak in departure and headed off with Hiccup to Lunch, the only period of the day that the Magicals shared with the Ordinaries. However, Elsa would usually sit alone at her own Lunch table, Hiccup sitting with the Dragon Tamers and Rapunzel with the other Princesses while Anna sat with her small group of friends that consisted of Merida the tomboy, Esmeralda the Gypsy, and the only boy in the group, Kristoff, who Elsa was starting to suspect of having a crush on her little sister.
Elsa had always been alone, and personally, she preferred it that way. It was just easier for her not to hurt anyone that way. Heaving a sigh, Elsa idly picked at her food, her black hoodie once again hiding her face from view since she had pulled it up after her flight with Grid, when a sudden cold breeze blew harshly by and pushed her hood back. Elsa frowned and lifted her blue-eyed gaze only to find crystal clear blue ones gazing back at her. Elsa tried to hide the warm glow spreading across her cheeks.
"Will you ever leave me alone?" she muttered, and grabbed her hood to yank it back over her head, when another harsh cold winter breeze blew it back again. Elsa looked up to glare at the snow-haired boy before her.
"Nope," he said, popping the 'p' while plopping down in the seat across from her, leaning his staff against the table next to him before digging into his own food, though his face didn't seem to register any of the taste the spicy tacos brought to him.
Elsa narrowed my eyes in confusion, before deciding to just ignore him and continued to pick at her cold salad. Elsa speared a piece of lettuce, lifting it up to her mouth when it suddenly froze over, causing her to glare harshly at her fork before snapping her icy blues up to see Jack trying to hold back his laughter. Elsa threw her fork down and grabbed her tray as she stood up to toss the half-eaten salad into the trash before sitting back down at her usual seat, still refusing to speak to the extremely annoying frost boy before her.
"I'm sorry if I couldn't help it," he shrugged and tossed his leftover tacos in the trash behind him without having to get up out of his seat. He didn't really eat much, she found rather surprisingly. "You're the first person I've met here who has the same powers as me." Elsa glanced at him only to find him staring directly at her and quickly looked away.
"I know how you feel," she finally whispered, crossing her arms while leaning on the table. "But that doesn't mean you have to toy with me every chance you get. If you've forgotten, we just met this morning."
Jack shrugged. "To you we may have just met, but I'm just glad some people can see me clearly here."
Elsa frowned. "What do you mean?"
He smirked and directed a hand around them towards the cafeteria. "Do you really not notice that you and your friends are the only ones able to see me?"
Elsa glanced curiously around them then, meeting her sister's matching blue-eyed gaze, her facial expression a deep frown as she gazed at her elder sister. Elsa turned to look back at Jack, finally realizing Anna's empty look was because she really couldn't see the snow-haired boy before her. Elsa gaped at him, "How-"
He shrugged, cutting her off while skillfully swinging his staff over his shoulder. "Being the Spirit of Winter has it's downfalls."
