Eden Kane was the daughter of the vice-chancellor, she was smart, and she wanted to pursue a career in medicine. But everything changed when her dad told her the impossible: they were sending 100 teenagers to Earth to see if the planet is livable.

So she did the only logical thing she could think of: she snuck onto the ship after Chancellor Jaha denied her request to be join the group of teenagers headed to the ground, following Bellamy Blake in the chaos after he shot their leader.

Earth wasn't always easy for her to handle, and neither was the death and chaos that seemed to follow them around. Every so often, she'd find herself alone, separated from all of the destruction that the hundred had brought with them to the ground.

Only then was she able to find someone who made her feel less alone, someone who made her laugh and want to punch him in the throat all at the same time. Maybe he was from Ice Nation and maybe he wasn't what her father wanted for her, but she couldn't deny the feelings in her heart for the man who saw her for who she was and trusted her with his life.
