Rosè family called her next. Still having no idea of the girls joint business to open in Seoul. Karina had called her daughter. "어떻게 지냈어? 괜찮아?" (How have you been ? Are you alright ?) Rosè was still a bit disappointed that the ultimate solution was to send her away. "I am fine, Mom. How is the company ?"

Karina could easily tell that her daughter still was upset. "Is that all you wanted to ask me ?" Rosè rolled her eyes heaving a sigh, "Dad can chose his heir whenever he wants. I just don't want to be a choice anymore."

Karina was confused as she sat down in a chair. "회사에 대한 당신의 요구를 거절하는 건가요? 왜요?" (You're refusing your claim to the company ? Why ?) Rosè thought back to why she was sent away in the first place. One of her siblings took advantage of her downfall. Basked in it even. Her parents even opted to agree to send her away.

"I don't want the company anymore. My ambition has changed. I'll also be moving out." Karina felt things were rushed. Her daughter spent some months away & all of a sudden wishes to withdraw from the family ? "What you are saying is no easy decision, Rosè. One that isolates you almost completely..."

Rosè knew her mother was grasping at straws. That she was heavily worried about her daughter. However, Karina had more than one child. Rosè didn't feel the need to compete with Seulgi, Hana, or Jaeyoung anymore. All Rosè wanted was a decent cut of ties from her family. "이제 끊을게요. 제발 다시 전화하지 마세요, 엄마. 아빠한테 안부 전해줘." (I am hanging up now . Please don't call me back, mom. Send Dad my love.)

The line soon went dead. None of this was easy for either of them. It needed to be done though. They need to flourish on their own. Lisa didn't bother answering any of her family' calls. She was in constant contact with Ying though. Ying had brought in many reliable investors from Thailand.

Lisa had asked only one favor of Ying throughout their partnership. Help her find her biological family. "Have you found them, Ying ? My family ?" Lisa was beyond nervous. This news was a part of who she was.

"I have located your biological parents. Hansa & Sawat Manoban are their names. Should I schedule a flight before the business launch party ?" Lisa was finally going to feel whole. She was going to meet the very people who brought her into this world. "네. 회사 출시가 바빠지기 전에 만나보고 싶습니다." (Yes. I want to meet them before I am busy with the company launch.)

Ying was more than glad that Lisa wanted try to accept her Thai roots. Each of the girls rode together. So they all heard what each of their families weren't expecting from them. "They shall arrive a few hours before launch." Lisa was ecstatic. "그들을 만나면 태국어로 말할까요? 아니면 한국어를 아나요?" (Should I speak in Thai when I meet them ? Or do they know some korean ?)

Ying double checked her references. "I would speak in Thai for the moment." It wasn't long before their call ended. This was the beginning of many great things.

Jisoo was the last to call her family. Now there was no issue between her & her parents. She was just supportive of Jennie. Her father answered. "당신은 언제 집에 있습니까? 센터에 전화했더니 이미 가셨다고 합니다." (When will you be home ? I called the center and they told me you already left.) Mind you, Jisoo' father was Daesung' brother. "I won't be coming home, Dad. Jennie needs me."

Insu was always supportive of his daughter. She was his only daughter. "How is Jennie ? I know you left to help her a few months ago." Jisoo was grateful her father was so trustworthy. He trusted his daughter & her decisions. "그녀는 잘 있다. 이해해주셔서 기뻐요, 아빠." (She is well. I am glad you understand, Dad.)

The air within the car was less tense. More calming. Everything was falling into place...
