Lily POV

The next morning I woke up and went downstairs to see Sirius in my bikini being a little spoon to Marlene. I quickly took a picture with my wand. "WAKEY WAKEY PEOPLE" I shouted. "Shut the fuck up Lily it's Sunday" Sirius grumbled into the carpet. "I second that" Alice said from one of the sofas. I already knew Alice wasn't a morning person. Marlene or Mary either. I suppose I was the only one. "We're going to miss breakfast" I told them. Marly an Alice Always got up for food. Always. "What! Why didn't you wake us up sooner!?" Sirius said while running up the stairs to James's room. Huh, didn't even see him get up. "JAMES GET THE FUCK UP YOU PIECE OF SHIT" I heard him scream from the top of the stairs. They are literally the me and Marly of the group. Speaking of Marlene she grumbled her way up to my room, grabbing me and Alice as she went by us. I was still in my pyjamas which was surprising for me. I was always dressed around other people. But I felt comfortable around the marauders. Safe.

We went into my room and I set straight to picking us all out outfits. For Marly I picked out blue skinny Jeans, a white crop jumper, that complemented her figure, with some white convers.

For Alice I picket out some loose maroon trousers a white long sleeve jumper and some shoes with grey fluffy parts. It made her look taller which was always a plus.

And lastly for myself I picked a green shirt and a pair of ripped black skinny jeans. I wore a pair of Nikes with it.

Then I did everyone's hair because Alice and marlene were still half asleep.

I left Marly's in her natural long curls.

Then I plaited some of Alice's hair back and tied it behind her head on either side.

Then I just tried mine up in a messy bun because we were running out of time

We made our way downstairs after putting a bit of makeup on only to see that neither of the boys were down yet and Peter was still asleep on our couch. "Potter are you ready yet?" I shouted up the stair. "Give me a minute. Sirius is doing his hair" he shouted back.

10 minutes later they finally came downstairs. "Sirius you took a total of 45 minutes to get ready. Also I want my bikini back" I told him. "Ah my dear Lily-flower, your never getting that back. James took it so he could smell you while he-". "Oh my fucking god Sirius. I'm not a creep. It's just in the wash because it smelt like a wet dog." he stared at Sirius. A wet dog? Eh it's the marauders. No one knows or needs to know.

James POV

We made our way to the great hall stopping by the Gryffindor common room to get Remus, Mary and Dora. "Sup cuz." "Sup Siri" she replied. Peter disappeared after we woke him up to go to breakfast. We just assumed he went to go change. Because we we're so late to breakfast there was only a few students left in the great hall. One of them being Snivellus and Belabitch, along with the rest of their cronies.
As we walked pass their table, they got up and came towards us. "Well, well, well if it isn't the mudblood and the blood traitors." Lily stepped forward. "What do you want Belatrix. Hex another 1st year?" She asked. "Hows your cousin you freak" she taunted. "How do you know about her?" Lily whispered. "Doholovo told me. He also told me about how sweet your scream was. I would love to hear it for myself." She raised her wand at Lily. "Back off" I said pushing Lily, who was frozen in place, behind me. "What are you gonna do about it? She'll be gone by the end of the year." She smirked. Then a voice behind me whispered. "Let's just sit down. I'm starving". It was Lily who just didnt seem bothered by the death threats. "But Lily she-" "but nothing Remus. Come on" . She tugged at my sleeve.

We sat down and Tonks joined us. "Lily you cant let them get away with the name they call you. It's ridiculous!" Sirius exclaimed. "Calm down Sirius I'm used to it. You hear this every day in the corridors at hogwarts. I'm currently the only muggle born at hogwarts right now. I'm always going to be their main target. Hell even after school I'll be their main target. You just have to suck up and work through it." "Fuck that Lily. Give them detentions!" Alice whisper shouted from across from me. Alice cursing? I've only been friends with these girls two day and I already know so much. But these little things still surprise me.

After 10 minutes of just regular chatting the owls came in with the post. I opened my copy of the daily prophet only to see more deaths. I thankfully didnt know any of these people. But one day it could be someone close to me. I didnt want to think about that. I looked over to see that Lily got a package. She opened it up and pulled out a little silver bracelet. It was from her sister. That was nice. But Lily just got up and walked out of the great hall. "What was that about?" Remus asked Mary who was just looking angrily at the table. "When Lily was 8 years old her and her sister saved up all their pocket money to by two friendship bracelets. They told eachother that they would wear the bracelets until they died or stopped loving eachother. So one day Lily may have preformed underage magic and put a spell on the bracelets. Al long as they loved one another the flowers would never wilt." Mary picked up the 2 bracelets, (Lily took hers off and dropped it before she ran) and gave them to me. On petunias there was 4 flowers. A rose a petunia a Lily and a daisy. All 4 were gone black and crispy. On Lily's they were all bright pinks and yellows. "Oh no" I looked back at Mary. She was reading the paper that was in the box. "I'm going to kill that girl." She passed it to Alice and Marly to read. "I'll join you" Marlene said while cracking her knuckles. "It cant be that bad can it" I said before Alice passed the letter to Remus to read. He was usually so calm and collected but now I have no idea what was going on to be honest. He was clenching his fists and his face was red with anger. "It's bad enough to make Remus angry" Marly replied to me. Sirius removed the letter from Remus's grasp. So we both read it.

Dear freak,

Thankfully all the flowers have withered so I can send this atrocious bracelet back to you. I had to use that stupid feather brain of yours though. I've nicknamed him freaklet after you. You know Lily I wanted to be your friend and then you left for your freaky school and became the ugly person you are today. I over heard that snape boy saying he'd like you dead. I wouldn't even care to be perfectly honest. I heard that your a freak in your world to. Your so stupid Lily you cant fit in anywhere.

I hate you and I always will. Also aunt Mickey agrees with me. You got our only cousin killed. Her only daughter. Some guy In a blue and purple cloak came to tell them that it wasnt your fault so they shut the door on them.

I turned to Sirius horrified at what I had just read. He looked at me with a blank expression but when I looked in his eyes I was sure I could see fire.  "How old is she?" He asked. "She is going to be 23 next month." "What an absolute baby". This is what Dumbledore meant by discrimination. "I'm going to see if Lily is okay. I'll see you guys later" Marlene told us and left the hall.

"How does she deal with this? I left my family after 5 years and she's been living with this all her life!" Sirius exclaimed. "Lily's strong, stronger than we know" Alice stated.

I just hoped she could stay strong forever. But no one's that strong.
