Lily's POV

"Our own common room!" I say. I have to share a room with Potter for a whole year. By the end of the week he'll have no limbs and I'll have purple hair. Oh god. "I didnt know there was a separate room for the heads!" "Yes mister Potter you and miss Evan's have your own common room, and dorms. You can give your password to only a select few people. Your duty as head students is to patrol from 9 to 12 on weekends while the prefects take turns during the week. You must plan any balls, hogsmede trips or any events really." He finnished with a small smile. "Now you may go to the Gryffindor common room to collect your personal items and explain to your friends about why you are leaving them. Will you please meet back here at exactly 6:30. This gives you a half an hour. You may create a password for your common room and give it to your friends while you are away." "Thank you professor" I say as he walks away. "Ready to go?" James asks. "Sure".

As we walk we think about differences passwords. Then it comes to me. " how about sol et luna   it means the moon and the sun. I think it's pretty" "that sounds great. Pixie dust" he stated as we reached the portrait of the fat lady. "Oh thank goodness your here! Something awful has happened get in quick!" She tells us " what happened". "It's awful. Some poor 1st year sat in Mary's chair. The poor divils already crying". "Oh god no" I barge in to find Mar screaming at a little boy who's hiding behind Remus. "AND IF YOU EVER TRY TO SIT THERE AGAIN YOU WILL PAY". "OMG MARY STOP"  I scream at her. "Lily thank god your here! He sat in my chair!!" "Mary go upstairs and leave the boy alone" I sigh exasperated. This wouldn't be the first time someone sat in Mar's seat. "Fine but I. Am. Watching. You." She points her finger at the trembling boy behind Remus clinging on to hime for dear life. Poor Remus looks horrified at the small boys hands around his knees. He mouths a quick help at me. "Hi what's your name" I say to the shaken up little boy who's attached to Remus' leg. He come out when he sees me and wipes his tears. He holds out his hand and smiles which is almost quite smug. He's a small ginger kid. "Charlie weasley at your service ma'am" he takes my hand and kisses it. Every one burst out laughing and Charlie smirks. "And what might your name be pretty lady". "I am way too old for you" I say with a small chuckle. "Her name is Lily Evans and she's single" Marly cuts in. I glare at her. "Well then would you like to go out with a weasley?" "I'm very sorry but I think your a bit young to be going on dates" I told him as he let go of my hand. "Oh, maybe a kiss then?" He actually looked a bit sad. "Hmm I'm not sure" I say with a smirk playing at lips.  "Ok then see you around" he goes to walk away but I turn him around and give him a quick peck on the cheek. He looks so dazed. It's quite funny actually. "Bye Charlie" and with that I walk up the stairs where I will go deal with an angry Mary.

James POV

I couldn't help but laugh as Charlie went to go scream at his friends about how he got kissed by a beautiful 7th year girl. I want to be kissed by that beautiful 7th year girl but if I asked she'd probably hex my arse into next week. No not probably she would, well she did in 3rd year. Ugggh that week in the hospital wing was not a fun one.

After we tell our friends about our new dorm we make our way to the entrance hall to meet Minnie . "Now if you two would follow me to your new dorms." Her Scottish accent was really showing through. I've always wondered how old she is? She could be anywhere between 30 and 65 years old. Her brown hair is slightly greying in her right bun. But she still looks young with no wrinkles on her face at all.

She leads us to the 6th floor and brings us to a large portrait of woman with a long ballgown dress on. "Password" she said in a very posh accent. "Sol et luna" I say. "Well then you may enter". As we walk in i see Lily's amazed face. Oh wow. It looks exactly like the Gryffindor common room. There is one large red couch that could probably fit about 3 people on. Them there is 2 more sofa chairs and one love seat. 'Perfect for cuddling' I quickly block that thought from my head. Keep it together James. The floors are a dark brown wood and there is a red fluffy carpet in the middle. In the corner there is a large desk with 3 stools infront of it. There is a fireplace with an already lit fire on the wall opposite the chairs and couches. I look at the opposite wall to see a staircase. At the top it splits in 2 ways. "I wanna go see my room" Lily exclaims as she rushes up the stairs to the door that says head girl in a fancy gold rectangular plate. "Wow" I heard her say quietly. While Lily looked about in her room I went to go check out mine.
I opened the door to see a huge room with a large king sized bed right at the back wall. My room was black white and grey mostly except for my numerous quidditch posters of red and gold. There is a huge wardrobe next to my bed. It already has packed most of my clothes away. How? I have no idea. I continued to look around until I heard a knock on my door. "Come in"
I said. Lily entered my room and took it all in for a second. "Wow your room is very pretty" "your very pretty" I say absent mindedly "what was that? "heard her say from where she, looking out the window at the view of the lake. "Oh, erm nothing. Can I see your room?" I said changing the subject. "Um, yeah sure"

She led me to her room. It suited her perfectly. It was bright yellow and pastel blue. Her bed covers were a light baby pink. Except for that the only thing different was the view from her window. Hers looked right out over the quidditch pitch.

"Hmm I wonder where the bathroom is?" As she said that I realised that I also did not realise we haven't looked for the bathroom. "It's probably in the common room." I siad as I walked down the stairs. Low and behold there is a door over by the desk. "Ooooh let's check it out" she said and ran/skipped to the bathroom.  The bathroom was huge! There was a bath that looked more like a small swimming pool in the centre of the room. In the corner there was a shower. Then there was a toilet and sink on the wall opposite it. At the sink there was a pristine white counter top. Above it there was a mirror and under it there was a double-doored press. In it there was our tooth brushes, tooth paste, pain relief potion, shampoos and conditioner, body wash and a weird green box. I picked up the box only to realise it was a box on tampons. Oh fuck. I quickly put them back in the press blushing red. Lily burst out laughing at my sudden flash of embarrassment. "I could really use a camera to take a picture of this for Sirius. He would love it" "ha ha very funny Lily"

"Well then I'm off to bed. Oh and also, be sure to lock the bathroom doors if your in here..... I really really do not want to walk in on you." Lily  almost begged. "I promise goodnight Lily-pad" I smirked. "Dont call me that. Those names are only reserved for Sirius." She snapped. "Wait no. For no one!! Not even sirius!!" She corrected herself quickly and ran to her room shutting the door. I'll have to tell him about this. I laughed to myself and went to my room. I fell asleep almost instantly due to the amount of food I ate and the feeling of the soft new bed being too comfy. 'Sweet dreams Lily' I think to myself before drifting off into my dreams of emerald eyes and Auburn hair.
