You breathed a sigh of relief as you felt the pain killers finally kick in. Most of your store trip had been in agony, and while you were a little frustrated that you only felt relief on the drive back home, you were also just happy to temporarily not be in pain. Even your wrist felt better, which was an added bonus.

You pulled into your garage, and turned off your van. Before you could even unbuckle, you saw Freddy and Sun rush into the garage. Sun opened the passenger door, gave you a very enthusiastic greeting, and grabbed your grocery bags. Freddy, meanwhile, opened the driver's door, unbuckled you, and picked you up bridal style. You barely had time to grab your keys as he pulled you out of your seat.

"Whoa! Hey guys, what are you doing?" You asked, Freddy carrying you through the kitchen.

"We're just happy you're back! We have a surprise for you!" Freddy said, and brought you into the living room.

The sight that greeted you was one you weren't expecting. A pillow throne was set up on the middle cushion of the couch, and Roxy off to the side holding your hair products that you don't typically use unless there's a special occasion going on. Chica was holding your nail care kit, along with all your nail polishes on display. Monty was off to the side, holding a plate of chocolate chip cookies and a glass of milk. Thankfully, it looked like he just emptied the package you had onto the plate. You didn't want to think of the mess he'd make trying to bake for you. It looked like they planned on pampering you that day.

"What is all this?" You asked with a touched smile pulling at your lips.

"You've done so much for us that we felt like returning the favor." Roxy said in the softest voice you ever heard coming from her voice box.

"Aw, that's really sweet. Thanks, guys, but you didn't have to do this. I'm happy just having your company." You said, trying to signal to Freddy to let you down. He didn't budge.

"We insist, Little Lady. You aren't getting out of this." Monty said, equally as soft as Roxy. You looked around at the oddly determined expressions of your friends, and decided to just roll with it. They had clearly put in all of this effort. You might as well show you appreciate it, and besides, you kinda needed a little pampering.

"Okay, fair enough. But first, I need to take something to my bathroom. Do you mind setting me down so I can do that?" You asked Freddy.

"Sun is putting away your groceries. He can do that for you." He said, looking you in the eye while still holding you.

"I actually need to use the restroom as well, so might as well kill two birds with one stone, right?" Everyone got tense when you said the word "kill", which made you raise an eyebrow at them. They shared a look, and Freddy nodded at you.

"If that is what you want." He then carried you into the kitchen where Sun was not only putting your groceries away, but also rearranging your whole kitchen to be more organized.

"Which bag is it in?" Freddy asked, and Sun only glanced at them before going back to what he was doing.

You spotted the colorful packaging, thankfully untouched, and pointed at it. Freddy adjusted you into one arm, making you briefly admire just how strong he was, and picked up the bag. He handed it to you, before readjusting you back into bridal style. He then proceeded to carry you all the way to your bathroom. Apparently not allowing you to walk was part of their "spoiling you" treatment. He set you down outside of your bathroom, allowing you some privacy. You were grateful for that. You'd have to question his sense of morality if he insisted on coming in with you. You did your business, changed your pad, and was out in a matter of minutes. He carried you back down, and placed you on the pillow throne. He stepped off to the side, as if a servant waiting for orders.

"Your hair is beautiful, (Y/N)." Roxy complimented as she started to brush your hair, surprisingly not mentioning herself for once.

"You have the cutest little cuticles, Sugarcube." Chica said, starting to file the nails on your good hand.

"Cookie?" Monty offered, holding a cookie to your mouth. You allowed him to feed you.

You sat there, and allowed your friends to treat you like royalty. Roxy playing with, and styling your hair, Chica doing your nails, and Monty feeding you cookies with the occasional sip of milk. At some point Sun finished what he was doing in the kitchen, and joined Freddy off to the side. Chica finished filing both hands, being extra careful with your injured one, and asked you what color of nail polish you wanted. You picked your favorite color, and she started her work.

"What do you think?" Roxy asked, holding up a mirror to show off her handiwork. You had to admit, Roxy knew how to style hair.

"You're quite the stylist. Thank you, Roxy." you smiled.

"It's the least I could do." you heard her say in what was almost a somber tone.

"All finished!" Chica announced. You looked down, and admired your nails, which were in much better condition than they were several minutes ago.

"Excellent job, Chica. Thank you so much." you said, liking the way the light shined off your nails.

"No, thank you." she said, mirroring Roxy's tone. Before you could question it, Monty held another cookie to your mouth.

"Do you like the cookies?" he asked.

"Of course I do. It's my favorite brand." you said once you swallowed the bite he just gave you.

"Yeah?" he asked, as if genuinely interested in what cookie you liked best.

"Yup! They're absolutely to die for." your statement was met with everyone inhaling sharply, despite the fact that they couldn't breath. Chica let out a muffled sob into her hand. Sun and Freddy were hugging each other in what could only be described as comfort. You were about to say something when Roxy beat you to it.

"Right. Speaking of... if you were to die right now, would you say you'd die happy?" she asked, again in that same somber tone. You raised an eyebrow at the strange question, but again, decided to roll with it.

"Well... I don't want to die right now. I'm still young, and there is so much more of life that I want to experience." Your answer only seemed to make them all sadder. Freddy broke his hug with Sun, and walked up to you. He placed a hand on your shoulder, and looked deeply into your eyes.

"What parts of life do you wish to experience the most?" he asked, completely serious. You wondered why everyone was in such a weird mood all of a sudden, but decided to answer the question anyway. You had a feeling you'd get an answer soon enough.

"Well, I guess I look forward to motherhood the most." You answered honestly, and everyone looked at each other with unreadable expressions.

"Can you wait one moment, Superstar?" Freddy asked, and you nodded.

Everyone gathered on the other side of the room, Monty having set down the cookies and milk on the coffee table, and began to whisper to each other in a huddle. You raised a brow at this, wondering what they were up to now. They seemed to be discussing something rather fervently. Sun then started to do the "eenie meenie minie mo" thing on them, stopping at Monty. The alligator seemed agitated at being picked and you swore you heard Sun and Freddy hiss "language" at the same time. Roxy smacked him upside the head and muttered something to him while pointing at you. He glanced your way, and seemed to crumble in defeat. You watched as he trudged over to you as if walking to his execution. He glanced back at the others who gave a "go on" gesture to him, and he turned back to you. His whole being screamed embarrassment as he opened his arms wide, as if asking for a hug.

"Mama." he muttered, not looking you in the eye.

The sound that escaped your lips sounded inhuman. Out of all the things you expected, that was definitely not one of them. You tried to calm down because poor Monty looked so mortified, but the harder you attempted to stifle your laugh, the more you wanted to laugh. The thing that finally got you to stop was the feeling of your bleeding acting up. It was worth it, though.

"I appreciate the sentiment, but Monty doesn't have to pretend to be my child. I'll gladly wait for the real thing." You said, wiping away tears of mirth. Everyone seemed to become even more upset at what you just said.

"She doesn't even know." you heard Chica whisper loudly, followed by Roxy saying something about denial. If you didn't know any better, you'd think they expected you to die soon or something. You crossed your arms and gave them all an inquisitive look.

"Okay, fess up. What's going on with you guys? You've been acting strangely since I got back from the store." They all suddenly refused to meet your gaze. Did they really expect you to die? They got all tense any time you brought the subject up. Maybe you should test the waters to see if your suspicion was true.

"You guys are going to be the death of me, I swear." That really did it because Sun let out a distressed cry before swooping you into a massive hug.

"NO! WE'RE SORRY! PLEASE DON'T DIE ON US! I PROMISE TO BE A BETTER FRIEND IF YOU LIVE!" he shouted, all but confirming your theory loud in your ear.

"Sun, stop!" Chica shouted.

"We need to be strong for her in this difficult time!" Freddy agreed, and tried to pry you from Sun's strong grasp.

"I knew it! You guys think I'm dying!" You said, sounding triumphant at solving the mystery.

"We don't think, we know! We all saw the blood!" Sun sobbed into the top of your head. Not it was your turn to feel embarrassed.

"You guys went through my dirty clothes?!" You shouted, a blush of mortification painting your face red.

"Don't change the subject! We know you tried to hide it from us, but as your friends, we deserve to know if you're dying." Monty accused.

"I'm not dying! I bleed like that every month!" You said, and the whole room stopped. There. It was out in the open. The very subject you wanted to avoid since you woke up that morning. Now you had no other choice than to explain yourself to your friends.

"W-what?" came Freddy's fragile question.

You took a deep breath, and mentally prepared yourself for one VERY unpleasant conversation.
