A mother's love is perhaps the most precious thing to have. A mother's nurture is what makes us into a kind and caring person. We celebrate Mother's Day across cultures and barriers because, despite our differences, that one woman that unconditionally loves us is who we owe so much to. Though it's celebrated on different days and started for different reasons, the one thing that stays the same is who and what we are celebrating. Motherhood isn't an easy thing and not everyone is suited for it, but despite the challenges and growing pains, their love doesn't waver. So hug your mom if you can, your teacher, grandma, or a dad, and thank them for all they've done.
