Maiko's POV:
Osano and I arrived in our class, our desks are right next to each other on the second row. We sat down as I said, "Ayano's acting a little weird." "Weirder than usual?" Osano asked, I look at him with unamused stare, "You know what I mean." I said, rolling my eyes. "Anyway, I want you to meet me at the school rooftop." Osano said, I glanced at him, that's where Osana and that boy will be. "Why?" I asked, "Stop being so difficult! Just be there, all right? And don't keep me waiting!" "Okay, okay, I'll meet you there." I said, not wanting to make him mad more, "Good." Osano said, looking satisfied.

All the students came in and soon our teacher and class start. After a long class lesson, which I try not to fall asleep, the bell rang, and it was Lunch time. Osano quickly got up and left as I just got up and went up to the rooftop. I arrived at the rooftop and saw Osana and Ayano's crush not too far from where Osano and I are gonna meet. I walk up to Osano and said, "Okay...I'm here, just like you asked." Osano was hiding something behind his back and said, "H... Here!" He held out a bento wrapped in pink wrapping paper.

"A bento? You made me lunch, Osano?" I asked in surprised, it's actually the first time Osano made something for me. "Eh?! Don't get the wrong idea! I didn't make it for YOU! I just...made too much food this morning. So, you can have the extras!" Osano said. I grab the bento and look at Osano with a smile, "Thanks, Osano. I was getting hungry." "Hey! Don't look at me like that, Okay?! Just... shut up and eat your bento! Geez!" Osano said blushing, I sat down, unwrap the paper, open the bento, took out chopsticks and eat some food Osano made. It tasted really good!

I look at him and said with satisfaction, "Wow! This is delicious!" I ate some more as Osano said, "...R... Really?...... Y... You like it, Maiko?..." "Yeah! It's great!" I said, "...That's right! You SHOULD be grateful! But don't expect me to keep giving you free food!" Then he mumbled, "...U... Unless...y... you "want" to eat my cooking everyday..." I pretend to not listen as I said, pretending to be confused, "What was that?" "I didn't say anything! D... Dummy!"

He sat down with me and ate his bento. As soon as we're finished, we heard coughing, we turn and saw Osana on the floor, and it looks like she was cough really, really bad! "Osana!" Osano said as he and I ran towards her, and she was throwing up! "We gotta take her to the nurse's office! Fast!" I said worryingly, Osano nodded, and we took Osana to the nurse's office. But I feel like we've been watched.

Ayano's POV:
Damn it! Out of all the places my little sister has to be with Osano, it has to be on the rooftop! But Osana should consider herself lucky that my sister and her twin brother is taking her to nurse's office to get the rat poison out of her! But I got to be more careful on where my sister is, I just hope it doesn't happen again.

Maiko's POV:
"Are you feeling better now?" The nurse asked kindly to Osana, Osano and I brought her here just in time, and she was able to make Osana better, "A little, yeah." Osana said, holding a glass of ice water, Osano and I are sitting right next to her.

"You should be careful next time you cook; food poisoning can be very serious." The nurse said, "I'm sorry." "Nurse, come quick!" We turn to see Budo Masuta, leader of the Martial Arts club, "A boy won't stop throwing up!" "Not another one, I'll be right there." The nurse said the Budo before turning back to Osana, "Stay here, till you feel better than you'll go home." Osana nodded and Osano and I turn back to her as the Nurse walked out with Budo next to her.

"I can't believe I made Taro throw up! He's gonna hate me now." Osana cried, Taro? I guess that's Ayano's crush's name. "I spent all night making that bento for him. It didn't taste like that this morning." "We may not be there when that happen sis, but Maiko and I are just as confused as you are." Osano said as I nodded in agreement with him, "What do I do now, guys? Do you think he'll forgive me?" Osana asked us.

Osano and I look at each other and look back at Osana, "To be honest, we don't know. He might think you did it on purpose." I said, "But I didn't..." Osana cried more, "Hey, it could have been worse." Osano said, "Yeah, you could have killed him." I spoke. Osana giggled and said, "Yeah, your right. Thanks for helping me, guys." "You're welcome, Osana." I said, "I'm gonna go once the nurse comes back, so you two can go back to lunch now." "Okay, if you say so. Feel better and see you back home, sis." Osano said as he and I stood up, "Bye!"

Osano and I walked out of the Nurse's office and went to our class. After class is over it was cleaning up time, Osano is scrubbing the floor, and I was scrubbing the windows. "Hey, Maiko." I turn to see Kokona Haruka holding a trash bag. "Can you take this trash to the incinerator outside please? I told Osano to get your stuff so you two can go home then." "Sure." I said, "Heh, thanks!" I grab the trash bag and walk toward the incinerator outside next to the field where the Sports club is.

I open the dumpster and throw the trash away, as I closed the dumpster, I heard Taro's voice, "Have you ever cooked before?" I turn and saw him and Osana walking together, "Of course I have!" Osana said, "Well, don't offer me anymore bentos." Taro-Senpai said. I hide behind the wall and watch them, "Fine, I'll never cook for you again." Osana said as she walked away, "I didn't say that. Osana, come back." Taro-Senpai called out Osana as she stopped, "Look, just buy me lunch tomorrow, and I'll forgive you."

"Forgive me?! You're the one who insulted my cooking! Buy it yourself!" Osana yelled as she turned around and walk away, "Ugh, I can't win." Taro-Senpai said, "Baka..." Osana mutters as Taro-Senpai catched up with her. I came out of my hiding spot and watch them as I said, "Yup, she's definitely Osano's twin sister." "Talking about my sister again?" I turn around and saw Osano with his bag and carrying my bag. "Sorta. How long were you standing there?" I asked.

"Awhile. Anyway, let's get going already! Here!" Osano said as he held out my bag, I grab my bag as I said, "Thanks. Where's Ayano?" "She said, she'll met us at the front. Let's go already baka!" Osano said. We walk to our lockers to change our shoes, unknowing we've been watched.

3rd Person's POV:
A girl with long black hair, wearing glasses, white blazers and white skirts with red trim, and worn red bands on her left upper arm. "So that's Maiko Aishi. Ayano Aishi's younger sister." She turns to three more girls who also worn white blazers and white skirts with red trim, and they all worn red bands on their left upper arm. They are the Student Council, "We must let Megami and Megamo know." The black-haired girl said, knowing they must not let Maiko get involved of what her older sister is doing or else she'll be in danger.

Maiko, Ayano and Osano walked to Ayano and Maiko's house, they went to the front of the house, Ayano open the door as Ayaka said to Osano, "See you tomorrow, Osano." "You too." Osano said as he walked away to his house. Ayano and Maiko put their schoolbags down and Ayano said, "We're home!" They took off their school shoes and walked barefoot. They walk to the living room and their parents are nowhere in sight.

"Mom? Dad?" Maiko called out for her parents, "What's this?" Maiko turn to see Ayano holding a piece of paper. She walks up to her and ask, "What is it?" "Mom left this note for us." Ayano said as she read of what's on the sheet of paper. Ayano gave the paper to Maiko after she's done reading as she said, "Here. I need to check something." Ayano walked away as Maiko look at her. Maiko then look back at the paper and reads it.

Welcome home Sweeties!

I hope you two had a great first day of school!
Unfortunately something came up and me and your father had to leave town.
I'm not sure when we'll be back, so look after yourselves and each other.
I left you two some money for food in your rooms.

Now don't go into the basement, just cause I'm not here. You're not ready, Ayano. Not yet.
And Maiko; DO NOT go to the basement and I MEAN IT. There's something that you don't understand.
I'll call you two when things settle down.

Maiko turn away from the paper to the hallway, "What IS mom hiding down there? And why does she want us to avoid the Saikou family?" Maiko asked herself curiously. She looks back at the paper, put it back on the table and walked away towards her bedroom to see how much money her mom left for her, unknowing that Ayano left out of the basement.
