I park my car and get out, locking the doors behind me. I pulled out my phone and saw a messaged from him.

"I'm at the cafe in the food court, meet me there?"

I smile to myself as I start towards the food court.

We make eye contact as I reach the cafe. He stands up and waves a lidded cup in the air. I smile and take it graciously. "I didn't know what kind of coffee you liked so I just got the basics."

"Thank you, Jungkook, but for future reference, I like cappuccinos, but basic coffee is great too." I chuckle and wink. He laughs and shakes his head.

We approach a Halloween store that was recently put up in the mall for the fun holiday. We walk in and instantly are surrounded but chilling music and amazing costumes. A worker walks up to us and smiles. She's dressed in what would be known as a provocative costume and makeup. She smiles innocently and asks what we are looking for.

"I'm having a Halloween party tomorrow, we're looking for him." She turns to me and smiles. I get shy under the gaze and wave a small wave. Jungkook chuckles shaking his head. The girl gets confused and furrows her eyebrows. "Are you two, you know," Our eyes widen and we both shake our heads. "No no, we're just friends." She sighs. "Thank God, I was starting to fall for this one." She winks at me and I grimace. "I am gay though."

Her smile falls again. "What are you looking for today, then." She says it more like a statement than a question. "What is there?" She rolls her eyes and huffs. "There are scary, cute, funny, kids, female stripper, male stripper, gender-neutral strip-"

"Something cute but humorous, please." Jungkook cuts her off. She walks off and he turns to me. "Sorry, I knew if we didn't stop her, she wouldn't have stopped saying stripper." I chuckle. "It's okay, you got what I wanted right anyways."

She comes back with a few options. I go into the dressing room and jungkook sits outside waiting. I grab the first option and my eyes instantly furrow. What the hell is this? I walk out of the dressing room and hold it up. "I said cute and funny not male stripper!" She chuckles innocently. "I wanted to see what your butt looked like in it." My face heats up and I instantly get uncomfortable.

Jungkook must sense it because he stands up and grabs it out of my hand. He hands it the girl and smiles, fakely. "He asked you for cute and funny. Please don't make this a bad experience for him." She huffs, taking the costume. "You guys are totally not any fun." She walks away, rolling her eyes.

He smiles back at me, gesturing to the dressing room. "I'll handle her, you worry about your costume." I chuckle and thank him, going back into the room.

After about an hour of shuffling through costumes and sharing laughs and stories, we finally found the perfect costume.

He walks me to my car and laughs. "It was fun hanging out with you with Jimin." I smile and look down at my feet. "It was fun hanging out with you too." He chuckles again. "It's funny, what we do couldn't be more different, but our fans still wanted us to befriend the other." My heart nervously skips. "Yeah, our fans did want us to meet for a while now."

Jungkook's phone buzzes and he checks it, his eyebrows furrow. "That's Jin, my roommate. He needs help, I better get going." I nod. "Oh yeah, go ahead, don't want to keep him waiting. I need to get home and get ready for tomorrow anyway." His phone rings and he answers it, looking back at me. "I'll see you tomorrow."

Yeah, see you tomorrow.

I lay awake. My clock reads 1 am. Why can't I sleep?! My phone buzzes and I see a notification for Instagram, I press it curious to who is awake at this late other than me.
