I grunt awake as my alarm clock blared. I turn it off and stare up at my ceiling. "Today's the day," I think to myself, trying to keep my anxiety at bay. I glance at my phone and sigh, picking it up. I peek at my unopened emails but get bored soon after, so I go on Instagram. Everyone's still flipping out over my photo with Jungkook from last night. I laugh at a few fans that have been long time shippers even before we met. The second I mentioned him they were right there ready.

I chuckle to myself at the replies. I wouldn't have added Jungkook in the reply if it didn't cause a reaction. At the mention of Jungkook, my mind drifts to yesterday. The way he handled the store employee, his cute bunny smile, his sense of humor, he's perfect, beautiful. My mind snaps to tonight and my heart picks up. Nerves surge through me as I start getting out of bed. It's time to start the day.

I shudder as I walk up to the door of his house. I can't remember the last time I was this nervous to go to a house party. "Nothing's going to happen, Jiminie, stop worrying," I say to myself as I knock on the door. I'm second guessing this, but before I can act on the thought, the door swings open. "Jimin, you made it!" Jungkook greets me with a smile and steps to the side to let me in. The costume he decided on was a bunny costume. Cute.

We turn the corner into his living area. There, I'm greeted with five other males. "Jimin, you've met Taehyung, right?" I smile at the fellow Instagram model and nod. "We've talked a few times over DMs. It's so good to finally meet you in person!" Taehyung smiles and nods. "I know and Jungkook has told us so much about you! Welcome to our friend group, Chimmy, so good to finally meet you." And with that, he excuses himself to get more to drink.

The next person makes his way over to me on his own, his high energy and a big smile immediately take effect. "Jimin-ah! So glad you could make it. Jungkook here wouldn't shut up about how much fun you two had yesterday at the mall." He teasingly hits Jungkook on the arm and I blush at the thought of Jungkook talking about us to all of them and nod. "I'm glad he could come with me, I would've been bored picking a costume by myself." Jungkook smiles at me and turns to the smiley guy next to him. "This Hoseok. He's in the rapper trio on SoundCloud." I nod and smile. "Absolutely love your guy's music! You can definitely tell there's a lot of work and production put into your songs." 

Hoseok chuckles and two other guys I recognize as Namjoon and Yoongi, the other thirds of the trio walk up and shake my hand. Hoseok puts his arm around Yoongi and smiles at Namjoon. "Jimin here was just telling me that he loves our music. He truly appreciates good production too!" Namjoon's eyebrows raise and he nods contently. "Jungkook-ah, you've found a keeper." Jungkook rolls his eyes, but he also smiles at the end. "Jimin, you don't have to flatter them. They have a million fans to do that for them." Namjoon chuckles, but I freeze. 

"No, I didn't mean it to sound like I was just trying to flatter them. It's true! I really do like you guys. A lot of SoundCloud rappers think they have talent, but don't sound good at all. Like come on, I-" Jungkook cuts me off by grabbing my wrist and smiling down at me. "Jimin-ah, we're just kidding around, it's okay." I smile and look down. Working on social media, there's always a 50/50 chance people will like you without a little bit of flattering and ego-boosting going into it. I guess these guys aren't fake like a few people I've encountered. 

A tall, wide-shouldered man comes up and grabs Namjoon's hand. He extends his open hand to mine and gives me a welcoming smile. "I'm Jin, the eldest of the headasses and the only one who's not famous. I've known Namjoon for forever and because of that I got sucked into all this nonsense." I laugh and shake his hand. "Nice to meet you, all of you."

Jungkook leads me outside to wait for my lyft, after the small, but fun, party starts to disperse. "I'm sorry my friends can be a little, much at times." I laugh and shrug. "They were all great. I hope we all can hang out again soon?" He nods and looks down. "Hey, I love the costume you picked! The bunny fits you well." He chuckles and catches my eye, "Thanks, I thought you'd like it." Before I can answer, my ride drives up and I sigh. Jungkook must notice because he says, "I'll text you? We can plan something soon. Maybe do a collab, yeah?" I nod and smile. "Yeah, I'd like that."

His smile widens. "Then it's a date." And then his smile vanishes and his eyes go wide. "I mean, not a date, just like, we'll decide on a date, like a day to hang out, like as friends."

I laugh and smile at him. "Goodnight Jungkook."

Okay, this is loooooongggg overdue. I'm so sorry I never got around to writing this and publishing it.

I'll hopefully get this book back on track 💜
