A sigh escaped the middle aged man's lips. This girl was a tricky one. She was young and he hatted killing children, but he had a job to do. She was a threat, and he needed her out of his way. "Sir, you have a call on line one." The young woman stood at the door not daring to step foot in his office. She clutched a binder to her heaving chest.

Switching off the screen, he stood and walked over to his desk. "Thank you." The girl nodded quickly and shuffled away as fast as she could in those high heels. "Picking up the phone, he leaned back on the desk. "Hello Marcus." The voice sent chills down his spine. "You have not yet completed your task." Marcus found his voice. "I need a bit more time, Mr. Dun. I must succeeded where the others have failed."

The sigh made him shiver. "And how do you plan to do that?" "I need to gather information about the girl before I attack. I must know her every move. All her weaknesses....before I hunt her down." "*Sigh* I am afraid you have run out of time, old friend." 

His voice wavered as he spoke. "Please....just a bit more time." "And if you fail?" Marcus had to smile. "Sir. I never fail. I swear. This girl will be at your feet dead or alive." There was silence. "Do not disappoint me. The consequences would be.....dire." The long tone sounded more to Marcus Trenton.....like a flat line. Putting the phone down, and sitting back down he sighed. "This girl will fall. No matter the cost."

Alex's P.O.V

A tooth brush, a bundle of rope, a gun, a knife, a flashlight. These were the items all of us had in our bags as we left the lair. "So how are we going to get to Chicago?" Tony asked. I grinned and leaned on a black SUV. "Well, this should do the trick." I patted the hood and tossed the keys to Jack.

They all grinned. All except Jessica. I nodded for them to get in. They got in and I folded my arms. "Jess, I know leaving Leo was tough...But you have to focus." She looked at me. "Alex, you don't understand. Leo is worried sick, I might not come back, and I I have no idea when I'll see him again!" I leaned back onto the vehicle.

 "That is how I felt when I left Raph....But tell you what. I'll make you a deal. We fix up HQ. Get everything running, and you can quit the force. Fair?"

She nodded, and walked past me. I sat in the back with Kylah, and Duke. Jess took front seat with Jack. I leaned on Duke and sighed. He put his arm around me, and I closed my eyes. I looked up. Jack looked back at me. 'You ok?' his expression asked. I gave a small smile. 

'I'm fine.' We drove in silence the rest of the way. When we arrived the others were confused. "Uhhh, Alex...." Tony scratched his head. "This is an empty lot.." I grinned. "Good. That's what it's supposed to look like." I walked to the back wall of a abandoned mall.

I took a key card from my pocket, and swiped it over a spot on the graffiti covered wall. A green light blinked, and a door creaked open. "Whoa...." was all they could say. "A Hanger, a gym, a labratory, bunks, a lounge, meeting room, also a basement cell for interrogating. and storage rooms." Jack said proudly. 

They nodded, impressed. "So, you both did this by your selves?" I laughed. "No. We had help from a few agents."  Jess sighed. "I guess the rest will be easy." Jack shook his head. "Not at all. Wish it was, but we have other work to do.." Jess glanced at me. 

A young man walked up to us, and handed a binder to me. "Records of all the new recruits." I took it, and flipped through it. "Thanks Mike." He nodded, and winked at Kylah. I chuckled. "Who is that?" Tony asked, nodding to a woman in the lab.

She looked up and took off her goggles. She waved, smiling. "That is Jane Halton. She will be your lab partner so to speak." We continued down the hallway till we got to a room. I grinned and nudged Tony. "This is your and Duke's room. 

They grinned. "sweet!"  Duke hugged me. "Thanks Alex." I smiled. "No problem guys." They ran in. "I call top bunk!" Tony shouted. I chuckled and took the girls to their room. And then it was only Jack and I alone the hallway.

"You alright sis?" I looked away. "Y-yeah." I shoved my hands in my pockets. Jack tilted my chin up, and looked into my eyes. "Alex, I know this is rough, but Raph still loves you yaknow." I huffed. "No he doesn't. If he did he wouldn't have ended it. He-he doesn't love me any more."

Jack sighed, and leaned on the wall. "Alex. Raph loves you and one day you will see that." He kissed my head and walked off. I sighed and went to my office. I sat in the chair and rubbed my eyes. I leaned back and stared at the photo of the turtles and I. Mikey made a funny face. Donnie was grinning. Leo was folding his arms and leaning on me, lookinf smug. Raph had his arm around my shoulders, and was kissing my cheek. I was laughing, and putting two fingers above Don's head.

I sighed. Good times.. "Director Rodgers?" I spun around in the chair. "Yes?" The man dropped a giant binder on my desk. "Paper work?" He nodded. "Gonzalez wants it in by Tuesday." I groaned. "I have a lot of work." He chuckled and patted my shoulder. "You sure do. Better get started."

I nodded, and he left. I grabbed a pen and got to work, the thought of Raph still in my mind.
