Me, Sheldon and Leonard were sat in a lecture room in the university. I was stood next to Leo at the front.

"So, if any of you are considering going into experimental physics, my door is always open. Once again, I'm sorry that the demonstration didn't quite work out, but now we know what happens when you accidentally spill peach Snapple into a helium neon laser. Short answer is... don't. And now to tell you about the theoretical physics department is Dr. Sheldon Cooper. Dr. Cooper?" Leo stated.

"Forget it." Sheldon says.

"Excuse me. Sheldon, we both agreed to do this." Leo points out.

"It's a waste of time. I might as well explain the laws of thermodynamics to a bunch of labradoodles." Sheldon says. I looked at Leo. I had a idea.

"If you don't do this, I won't take you to the comic book store." I stated telling him.

"Hello. Nice work with the laser, by the way. Looking out at your fresh young faces, I remember when I too was deciding my academic future as a lowly graduate student. Of course, I was 14, and I'd already achieved more than most of you could ever hope to, despite my 9 o'clock bedtime. Now, there may be one or two of you in this room who has what it takes to succeed in theoretical physics, although, it's more likely that you'll spend your scientific careers teaching fifth graders how to make paper mache volcanoes with baking soda lava." Sheldon says.

"Oh, good God." Leo answered.

"In short, anyone who told you that you would someday be able to make any significant contribution to physics played a cruel trick on you, a cruel trick indeed. Any questions? Of course not. I weep for the future of science. Now if you'll excuse me, the latest issue of Batman is out. Come, Leonard." Sheldon stated.

"Laser demonstration's looking pretty good now, huh?" Leo asks. We were in the university cafeteria.

"I love this time of the year. The leaves are turning, there's a bracing chill in the air." Raj started.

"Plus there's a whole new crop of female grad students about to put on just enough winter weight to make them needy and vulnerable. That's right, honey, have another calzone, Daddy can wait." Howard stated.

"Gross Howard. I didn't need to know this." I stated putting my sandwich down.

"Isn't there a university policy against dating graduate students?" Raj asked us.

"No, if you can talk to them, you can ask them out." I stated.

"Damn, there's always a catch." Raj pointed out.

"That is exactly what I said." I pointed out.

"Hey, guys." Leslie says as she walks in.

"Oh I can't be bothered with this." I muttered to Raj making him nod.

"Hey, Leslie." Leo stated.

"So, dumbass, I heard you made a grad student throw up last night." Leslie said to Sheldon.

"The truth can indeed be a finger down the throat of those unprepared to hear it. But why should I cater to second-rate minds?" Sheldon asked.

"Because first-rate minds call you "dumbass"?" Leslie asks.

"Oh, yeah? Well... you're a mean person." Sheldon answered. I just looked between the duo.

"Excuse me, Dr. Cooper, I'm Ramona Nowitzki, I was at your talk last night. I think you're just brilliant." A girl said to Sheldon.

"That is the prevailing opinion." Sheldon said looking at Leslie.

"Oh, now I'm gonna throw up." Leslie stated.

"Same. I'll join you." I stated making Leslie high five me.

"Howard Wolowitz, department of engineering, co-designer of the International Space Station's Liquid Waste Disposal System." Howard tried making me laugh.

"Leslie can I borrow you for a second. I need a girls opinion on something." I stated pulling her away. I didn't often get along with most people.

"What's up Alex. Why did you pull me away?" Leslie asked as we made it to the girls bathroom. I lock the door as soon as she's inside. "And why are we hiding in here?"

"Because I need your help." I answered going into one of the cubicals and sitting on the floor leaving the door open.

"With what?" She asked looking down at me.

"I haven't got many girls outside of here. I only have Penny. And well Penny isn't the brightest of the bunch." I stated.

"Go on?" Leslie asked me sitting next to me.

"I haven't had my period in two months. Which would be normal if I was irregular. But I am always on time. Often early by a few days." I explained.

"Does Sheldon know that you haven't had your period?" Leslie asked me rubbing my back.

"Not yet. I have managed to hide it from him but Leonard has caught on that I am late." I explained as there's a knock on the door girls room.

"Alex I know you're in there. You can't hide anything from your brother." Leo stated.

"Do you want to let him in?" Leslie asks. I nod and she unlocks the door to let him in. She locks the door as soon as he gets in.

"How did you know where I would be?" I asked him.

"This is the closet bathroom to your office. You hate using any other toilet." He answered sitting next to me taking Leslies spot on the floor.

"I've even noticed that." Leslie says as she pulls me out of the cubical.

"Leslie can you go into my office and get my bag please? Here's my key." I stated. She went to my office.

"What's going on. You may be able to hide stuff from Sheldon but not from me. I'm your twin. I know these things." Leonard tells me as Leslie walks back in with my bag.

"I have the reasoning why in my bag." I stated pointing to the bag Leslie has in her hands. She looks at me to ask if she can go through it. I nod.

"This is the only thing that stands out." Leslie says pulling a pregnancy test out.

"That's why. I didn't want to tell you this way Leonard. But you caught on quick. That's why I kept having days off work I kept leaving work early or coming in late." I explained as Leo hugs me tight.

"Bloody hell. I'm going to be a bloody uncle." Leo stated.

Raj's pov:
Alex, Leonard and Leslie all disappeared without a trace. Which was unusual from the twins. But not unusual at the same time as they are always together. I'm guessing Howard had noticed as well as he looks at me before turning to Sheldon.

"Sheldon, do you have any idea what just happened?" Howard asked him.

"Yes. Apparently I'm getting a free dinner." Sheldon answered him.

"You have a girlfriend. Who has disappeared to somewhere. Leslie and Leonard in toe. Don't you think that's weird?" Howard asked him.

"They are probably having a girls chat. She doesn't have that often." Sheldon tried.

"What if something is wrong. Alex hasn't acted like how she normally would when she's on her period in two months. She has been coming in late to work for a month. And doesn't scream weird?" I asked him.

"Now that you have pointed it out. It does seem weird. I'll talk to her tonight after my food." Sheldon stated making me sigh.

Alex's POV:
I heard a knock at my bedroom door.

"Come in." I yelled. I saw Raj standing outside the door.

"What's going on?" He asked me as he sat next to me on the bed. He has always been like a brother to me.

"Im pregnant." I muttered hanging him the test.

"This is why you've been so weird lately. How far along?" He asked me.

"Just under two months. I didn't want to act strange so I hide it." I stated.

"Who knows?" He asks me.

"You, Leo, Leslie and Gablehauser. He had to let me have days off." I answered.

"Not even Sheldon?" Raj asked I shook my head.

"Not yet. I just need time to tell him." I answered.

"Alex you home?" Penny yelled.

"Penny needs me. Come on." I stated standing up.

"I'm here if you need anything." Raj stated.

"Thank you for that talk Raj. I really needed that." I stated as we walked past Sheldon.

"Course." He whispered since we were in the living room.

"See you in a bit." I said hugging him.

"Call me if you need me." He whispered to me. I nodded.

"Hi, Leonard. Alex." Ramona stated.

"Yeah. That's me." I stated moving out of the way of her.

"Are we okay?" She asks me.

"What do you think. You're bringing food over for my boyfriend. So take a wild guess." I stated moving away.

"Hey, Ramona. Come on in." Leonard stated.

"Thanks. Where should I put this?" Ramona asked.

"In the bin or far away from this apartment." I muttered to Penny making her snicker.

"Uh, the kitchen's fine. (To Penny) Hey, what are you doing?" Leonard asked looking between us.

"I need to see this. And be Alex's moral support." Penny stated.

"Uh-huh. The viewing area's right over there. Sheldon, your girl... date... person... Ramona's here.  Whatever you wanna call her. Might as well call her your girlfriend at this point." I stated sitting next to Penny.

"Oh, hello. She's not my girlfriend you are." He stated looking at me confused.

"As if. Boyfriends don't let other girls flirt with them." I stated crossing my arms.

"Oh, sorry I'm late. I just got so caught up reading the draft of your latest paper." Ramona stated.

"Did you enjoy the humorous footnote where I illustrate mirror-symmetry by likening it to the Flash playing tennis with himself?" Sheldon asked ignoring me.

"So funny. But the idea that you might be able to incorporate gravity, I have to tell you, I found it physically exhilarating." She answered.

"My hypotheses tend to have that effect."Sheldon stated.

"I'm sorry I didn't bring enough for your friends. I assumed we were going to be alone." Ramona stated.

"As if I'm going to leave you alone with my boyfriend I'm not stupid." I stated looking at her.

"Oh, yeah. No, we were just going. Cause I'm slightly annoyed and need to leave." Leonard stated.

"I never agreed to this." I stated looking at him.

"To watch, right?" Howard asked.

"No, come on, now, we're going out." Leonard stated looking at me.

"Oh, come on, we'll be quiet.

"Fine." I stated standing up before going to the door.

"Let's go. Okay, you two, just, have a nice... whatever this is. I hope you're happy Sheldon. You're seriously hurting Alex. Your girlfriend." Leonard stated. I felt Penny grab my hand in comfort.

"Okay, you guys, look, I know this is none of my business, but I just, I have to ask, what's Sheldon's deal? Just leaving Alex like that?" Penny asked.

"What do you mean "deal"?" Leo asked.

"Leaving Alex the way he is." Penny asserted.

"Honestly, we've been operating under the assumption that he is stupid to that sort of thing. Considering it took Alex and Sheldon six months before they got together." Leo stated.

"Come on, everybody has a deal." Penny stated.

"Not Sheldon. Over the years, we've formulated many theories about how he might reproduce. I'm an advocate of mytosis." Howard stated.

"He has reproduced Howard that's the thing." I stated.

"I'm sorry?" Penny asked looking at me.

"I believe one day Sheldon will eat an enormous amount of Thai food and split into two Sheldon's. I'm sorry wait what?" Howard asked me.

"Surprise. I'm pregnant. That is why over the last 2 months I've been acting strange." I explained.

"Hey, do you want to hang out with us?" I asked Penny.

"What are you guys gonna do?" Penny asked.

"Uh..." Leo stated.

"My mom's making a brisket tonight." Howard said making me look at him.

"The one with the little onions? Mmm. I've been craving that so bad." I stated. I started walking to my car. We were in the apartment. There is a knock on the door which then opens and Penny enters.

"Hey, guys, this package came for y..." Penny tries. Sheldon is sitting in his usual seat, typing on his laptop. One foot is in a foot spa. Ramona is pumicing the other. She looks at me. I was sat at my desk.

"I'll take it thanks Penny." I stated as she handed it me.

"Dr. Cooper is working." Ramona stated.

"Yes, I'm close to a breakthrough. Ooh, it tickles." Sheldon stated.

"Sorry. Alex come with me. Bring your laptop and whatever you need. (In hallway, shudders) Holy crap on a cracker." Penny stated.

"Hey, Penny Alex." Leo stated.

"Hi. You know, you probably don't want to go in there." I stated looking at him.

"Why? What are they doing?" Leo asked me.

"You know, the only way I could explain it would be in a therapist's office with dolls." Penny answered.

"Hoo-boy." Leo said as he walked in.

"Dr. Cooper's working." Ramona stated.

"Yeah, I can see that. Sheldon, Halo night, Koothrappali's. You coming?" Leo asked him.

"Oh, yes, it's Halo night. Let me just dry my tootsies." Sheldon answered.

"You're not going to Halo night." Ramona stopped him.

"Yes, I am. It's Wednesday. Wednesday's Halo night." Sheldon tried.

"Didn't a great man once say, "Science demands nothing less than the fervent and unconditional dedication of our entire lives"?" Ramona asked as Penny put her arm around my shoulder. I put my head on her shoulder. She rested her head on top of mine as if to comfort me. 

"He did." Sheldon answered.

"And who was that great man?" Remona asked him/

"Me. Sorry, Leonard." Sheldon answered looing at us.

"Seriously? You're not coming?" I asked him.

"You heard her. How can I argue with me?" Sheldon asked.

"Okay, well, once again, you guys have a good... whatever this is." Leo said before turning around.

"Alex stay here?" Sheldon asked me.

"No Sheldon. We're done. I am not being second to whatever this is." I answered walking out. Penny high-fives me. 

"Well done girl he deserved it." Penny stated. I have been staying at Penny's house for a bit. Leo has been helping me by bringing me clothes and my books.

"(Knock, knock, knock) Penny, (knock, knock, knock) Penny, (knock, knock, knock) Penny." Sheldon stated. Penny opens the door.

"Sheldon, honey, I've told you, it's a small apartment, you only have to knock one time." Penny stated looking at him.

"Please, please, I don't have a lot of time. Look, Ramona finally dozed off, and I need you to help me get rid of her. I've messed up with Alex. I want Ramona gone. I want Alex back." Sheldon stated.

"Get rid of her how?" Penny asked before looking at me.

"I don't know, but apparently I'm in some kind of relationship, and you seem to be an expert at ending them. I don't want to be in a relationship with Ramona." Sheldon stated.

"Excuse me?" Penny asked him making me laugh. 

"I see man after man leaving this apartment never to return. And I heard Alex laugh let me in.

"Okay, first of all, it is not man after man." Penny said.

"It is Pen." I tell her as I walk to the door.

"Dr. Cooper?!" Ramona exclaimed from inside the apartment. 

"Hide me." Sheldon stated.

"Hide you?" Penny asked.

"I formally request sanctuary." Sheldon stated as soon as Remona came outside.

"Why aren't you working?" Ramon asked him.

"Um... she distracted me. I told you, Penny, I don't have time for your nonsense, I have important things to do." Sheldon answered making me laugh into Penny's shoulder.

"Oh, man. Alex it isn't funny." Penny stated making me laugh harder.

"Oh it  is." I stated.

"I know what's going on here." Ramon exclaimed to Penny.

"Really? Well, then will you explain it to me?" Penny asked.

"I would love to hear this." I said looking at Ramona. 

"You're in love with Dr. Cooper." Ramona said to Penny which made me laugh harder.

"Ramona you should go into comedy this is too funny." I stated.

"Uh, yeah, no, that's not it." Penny stated hitting my side.

"Don't try to deny it. He's a remarkable man, but you have to let him go." Ramona stated.

"Oh, gee, okay." Penny stated.

"I know it's hard, but he's a gift to the whole world, and we can't be selfish." Ramona stated.

"Yeah, he's a gift all right." I stated laughing before going back to the couch.

"Sisters?" Ramona asked.

"No." I stated.

"Um, sure, sisters. (Ramona leaves.) Holy crap on a cracker." Penny stated.

"She's crazy all right." I stated laughing.

"You tell me." Penny said before sitting down. The next day me and Penny were in the hallway as Ramona was leaving.

"Oh, hey, hi." I stated looking at her.

"Oh, bite me!" She exclaimed.

"Sisters?" Penny asked making me laugh.
