Y/N Y/L/N

It didn't take much longer until we had everything together, but the nervousness is growing. All these years I lived with my brother and was so close to him. No one could break our bond, so it always makes me not so sad that we look at each other as if we don't really know the other. We are trying to rebuild our bond like we used to, but we both know it won't be easy.

Together with Grace and my suitcase we go down the stairs and see Tom and Harrison keeping silent and looking into each other's eyes. "Creepy" Grace said to me and I could only agree with her. "Guys we would be ready", now it's time to take some distance from this place and get used to living with Tom, which I still can't believe but it really is. Tom comes running to me and takes my suitcase from me and gives me another kiss on my hairline. "I'll wait for you downstairs. You'll need a few minutes alone with him," thankfully he gets a quick smile from me before walking out of the apartment.

"I guess this is goodbye. I can't believe yet that my little sister is moving out," a tear unintentionally runs down my cheek, which my brother wipes away with his thumb. "It's not goodbye forever I'm just moving in with my-"

" Boyfriend," he finishes the sentence and looks down at his fingers. "Listen y/n, I'm sorry for being such a bad brother, but you have to understand me too. He was a player. He didn't care about anyone else's feelings and if you're not careful, he's still deep inside." Silently I look at him, because I was too unable to say anything. "You should give your best friend a chance to prove himself yourself. He can go back to being Tom who was your best friend."

I didn't know how to handle it myself, but Grace nailed it perfectly. Tom has changed and Harrison should give him a chance. They both hugged me again before I leave the apartment and walk down the stairs feeling better. At the entrance Tom is already waiting for me, who immediately pulls me into his arms when he saw me. "Ready for your new home?" he asks me with an even bigger smile. How can you not be ready to move in with this man? "I'm ready," I answer him.

The ride was very quiet, but there was no unpleasant atmosphere in the room. Everyone was in their own thoughts. However, at the end the way seemed very familiar to me. A small smile forms on my lips, because when I spent the first night with Tom a woman cab driver drove me back exactly on the way. "What's so funny?" he asked me, looking over at me for a moment. "Oh I was just thinking about something?", I answer him. He gives me a questioning look, but I just wave it off. After 10 minutes, when Tom has made his last turn, we are standing in front of his incredibly large villa. I didn't quite realize the size of this house when I ran out. "Are you ready?" he asks me, taking my hand in his. i look at him and automatically have to start smiling. "Last time I said I never want to see you again," he couldn't help smiling either and gives me a kiss on the back of my hand. "And I told you, you always see each other twice in life. As you can see, I was right and I couldn't be happier. You made me a better person and I can't thank you enough for that."

II didn't know what to say at that moment. These words have touched me that I am about to drop a tear. He gives me another kiss on the forehead, before we both get out and go into the house. I already know the entrance and his bedroom, I'm sure a few rooms are familiar to me because I've already lost my way once. I myself can't believe that I'm here again and that I've actually fallen in love with this man. It is amazing what has happened in this time. While I look around, I notice how two arms wrap around me and pull me close to them. "The doctor said you should rest some more, so I'm going to take you to our bed now." The word "our", he emphasized very strongly. Suddenly Tom lifts me up, making me squeal. "Oh god Tom put me down. I can walk myself," laughing I put my hands around his neck. "You need to get better fast and the doctor said you have a few more days of bed rest, so I'm carrying you up. That way you won't overexert yourself either."

And so Tom walks with me into our bedrooms. I put my head in the crook of his neck, immediately the scent of his aftershave comes to my nose. This man smells divine. Carefully he puts me in bed, but when I look at him more closely, I notice how it starts to throb in my middle. I've noticed that a lot lately, that when I just look at him, that I have such an explosion of feeling in my body. "Y/N are you actually listening to me?" his voice brings me back to reality. A smirk has formed on his lips. "You started drooling," he laughs. I quickly grab the pillow and throw him off with it. "What did you say?", I inquire, simultaneously making myself comfortable in this impossibly large bed. "I'm about to go back to the office, since I've been out of town for a few days. You won't be working the rest of the days either please, I'd need a replacement for that."

The feeling of jealousy comes up in me. He definitely doesn't need a replacement. I can also work from here, generally I want to start doing something again. The time in the hospital was really boring. "You don't need to get a replacement. I can do the work from here, too. I'm sure you have an office here, so I see absolutely no problem there," skeptically he looks at me and shakes his head. "You should definitely still rest for the next few days so you don't fall over at work. That's bad for me and for you so, you'll just stay in this comfy bed and rest."

Of course, I have a funny feeling about him getting a new secretary. She could snatch my job away. Then I'll have to start looking for a new job again. Or worse... he could fall in love with her and leave me. Tom is a magnet for women and every woman wants to have a place at his side. I reach for his hand and look at him. "You're not going to replace me forever, are you?"
