Devinah Velaryon

Devinah Velaryon comes from a long bloodline of dragon riders and dark magic witches. The dark magic skipped generations until it found its rightful holder. The Velaryon bloodline was the one that started it all. Only Velaryons could tame the wild beasts that were dragons. There was a specific breed of dragon that only dark magic witches could tame, the Melkasta tīkun. So that's why Devinah was sent to Earth to retrieve an egg hidden somewhere. When that same egg hatched she formed an inseparable bond with Devinah. She named her dragon viseria who became the champion of the skies. She named her after her late great-great-grandmother who was the previous dark magic wielder and Melkasta tīkun (valyrian for purple wing) tamer.

Stories could go on eternally about the magical dragons and their riders. No sane person would believe it until they saw it with their own eyes. 

Devinah came from a kingdom, Valyria. It was right next to Asgard. Her grandfather, many years ago had an ongoing war between him and Bor Burison. That war was put to a stop by Odin and her father, Laenor Velaryon. They became allies, happily living together in unison in the nine realms.

When Dev started getting older, her father thought training her and nyah wouldn't be a bad idea. They would constantly train together for years. They bonded over that and they became an unstoppable trio. He explained that one day, they would become one of the strongest beings in the universe. When he told Devinah about getting her own dragon, she was ecstatic. Dev grew up seeing dragons soar around her home and hearing stories of the battle of the dragons.

Ambrosia the cursed was the creator of chaos magic. She was chaos magic. Devinah's grandmother told her a story that she was the living reincarnation of Ambrosia. And that one day she would be the all too powerful devinah the Dauntless. Again her parents would shut the stories down, not wanting their daughter to believe in those tales.

However, they weren't just tales. they were all truths. Her grandmother should know she was one of ambrosia creations. Ambrosia found lost souls and turned them into powerful witches. Just as powerful as the Eternals, or their leaders the celestials. In many ways, the dark magic witches were the creators of life.
