Percy's POV

24 Hours Earlier

"I have no clue." Tony admits, "But that means one thing, to the lab!"

"What is this? Johnny Test?" I roll my eyes and head to the elevator where Bruce is already waiting. "Or maybe Emperor's New Groove."

"I have no clue what those things are." Steve says as he takes a spot next to me.

"How do you not know what Emperor's New Groove is?" Loki questions as he and Thor joins us.

Thor laughs, "Man of Iron made us watch it. It was a joyous movie."

Tony shrugs as he walks in and presses the button for the floor. "I thought they needed to be educated in the American ways."

We shortly arrive in the lab and get to work.

But we quickly run into a problem. There is nothing on Morr. Nothing at all.

"This is pointless. Obviously Jarvis can't find anything on this guy in any historical documents." Steve says, sitting on a spinning chair.

"This is true, sir. There are no mentions of him in Sir Loki's book either." Jarvis

Bruce runs his hands through his hair. "There has to be a trail. Something we can find on this god. He's been around too long to not have a path we can follow."

"He could have erased his own history to remain hidden." Loki suggests. "I would have done it. Only if I wanted to stay hidden."

"But humans believe it is myths, why would it matter?" Tony questions.

"I would do it to hide from other gods." Loki says.

"But he wouldn't have the power to erase their minds, like you do brother." Thor says.

"That is correct, brother." Loki slides into a white chair next to Thor and Bruce.

I shift my weight from one foot to the other accidently bumping Tony.

"You got something to say kid?" He asks me.

"Yeah, actually." I start off, "So if he can't erase memory, why don't we go ask someone who remembers ancient Greece."

"But isn't everyone dead?" Steve voice carries a confused tone.

"Human, yes. But not a special teacher I know." I smile.

"What are we waiting for then? We should go see this teacher." Steve stands up.

"Where is he even at? And why are we hearing about this now?" Tony types a few more things onto his screen not looking at me.

I shrug. "I don't want to go back."

"Why is this, Percy?" Loki raises an eyebrow.

I shake my head and ignore his question. "We are going to go there, today. We leave in an hour. We might be there for a few days. Get ready."

I walk out of the room and get to the elevator before anyone can stop me.

A few hours later, we arrive at the base of the hill.

"Where are we?" Clint looks around in wonder.

"Why are we at a strawberry farm? They aren't in season." Natasha observes.

"What's with the huge pine tree?" Tony points up to it.

"Enough questions." My voice shuts them up. "Just follow me."

We walk up the hill. Memories haunt me all the way up.

The first time I was here, I lost my mother. I learned about this world with gods and monsters. It made me into one.

I can't remember how many times I have had a date on this hill. Or how many kisses we shared. Not as many as we shared on the beach or the docks. But still enough to make my heart ache.

Before I turn to the Avengers, I place a hand on Thalia's tree and hang my head. She's one of the few still alive but the pain of not saving her friends is too great.

They, the Avengers, can't see Peleus guarding the Golden Fleece on the other side. Peleus is comfortably sleeping on the other side, knowing we are not a threat to the camp.

I slowly turn around and face them, "I know it doesn't look like much right now. But everything will make sense in a moment. I need to swear everyone in."

"Swear us in?" Clint seems wary, "What does that mean?"

"Don't worry about it. I'm just giving you permission to come into camp." I quickly give permission for them all to enter.

One by one they step over the boundary in awe and amazement.

"What is this place?" Steve, the last one over, asks.

"It's called Camp Half-Blood. It's been my home for several years now. It's a safe haven where demigods can go to be safe from monsters. The other place is Camp Jupiter."

"Let me guess, that's for the Roman demigods?" Tony starts to walk down the hill.

"Yeah, but now it doesn't really matter. We need to go to the Big House. Follow me." I suppress my emotions overlooking camp and march forward.

We pass saytars working in the fields, even though it is autumn, playing their pipes helping the strawberries to grow. They stop and look up as we pass by. They aren't the only ones. Other half-bloods stop in their tracks and stare. They haven't seen me since the Giant War, back when I was a mess. I still am a mess.

Some of them wear looks of disgust on their faces. Others seem worried. I try to meet everyone's eye but I can't. There's too many memories. Too many people I have disappointed and hurt. Several whispers between demigods could be heard.

"Percy, why is everyone looking at us?" Natasha glances around.

"Percy!" Chiron, in his full form, calls out. "You're back!"

I see the Avengers glance at one another.

I barely hear Peter lean over to Tony and ask, "Isn't that the guy we talked to on the phone?"

This is quickly followed by Peter crying out in pain. Must be some digging they did behind my back.

"Hello Chiron." I say as calmly as possible. "Something is happening."

Chiron glances around, "Not here. Let us go find Ms. Dare. She wants to see you."

I pale. "She's going to kill me."

"You're right." A voice calls out. Obviously Rachel, "I should. But we have to do something else first. Come quick."

We all walk into Rachel's roomy cave. This is new, but it's much nicer than her living in the attic. I hate that place.

"Percy, what brings you here? You asked for us to leave you be." Chiron starts once we are all sitting comfortably.

"Some god has been trying to mess with us." I start out with.

"Who?" Red asks even though I think she knows the answer.

"He is called Morr. We can find no other information on him." Loki responds for me.

"Morr..." Chiron thinks. "I believe I have heard that name."

"I have for sure." Rachel says. "I know what we have to do, Percy. And you're not going to like it."

~^~

I scream.

I keep screaming. It was too real. It was real.

"Percy! You are alright. We are still here." Red's comforting voice reaches out.

Someone else tries to put their hand on my shoulder, but with my eyes still closed, I grab ahold of their wrist and flip them over me.

"Crap! Percy it is just me!" Peter's voice enters my ears.

I keep my eyes closed. I'm afraid that if I open them, it might actually be real. It's all my fault they died. I had to kill everyone again.

I think I'm officially past broken.

We may have gotten the information we needed, but at what price?

~~~
So I'm writing this with a possible broken finger...
I'm okay, we don't think it's broken, but it sure feels terrible.
Were you guys safe this week? I sure wasn't..
I hope this chapter explains everything. And if you think Percy has had enough suffering... he barely has dealt with anything so far. This guy is meant to break Percy in every way possible.
I chose to write this book because I wanted a book where Percy is actually dealing with a mental illness. In other books, yes he is depressed, but as soon as he meets everyone, he's perfectly fine.
I do not mean this as an attack on those books. They are great, and I do read them. I just wanted something more realistic.
Anyways, I hope your week was better than mine.
Have a fantastic week!
