Steve Rogers POV

"Avengers..." I begin to say to my fellow Americans.

"I will not get ready if you say 'Assemble'" Daredevil rudely cut me off.

Natasha glides over to me from her place next to Clint,"We know the drill, Steve. We will all be ready to go in five." She says unamused as she checks out Daredevil and walks to the elevator.

I nod, not needing to say anything. Natasha is hard to read but it looks like she has a past with whoever is behind the red mask. Either way, there is a mission to complete. Percy needs to permanently have his emotions replaced.

What have I gotten myself into? This is madness.

I join Natasha and the others in the stuffed elevator. We joked back and forth about each others costumes and code names are. Before we knew it, we were fully armored and flying over to the warehouse.

Percy, wearing bronze traditional Greek armor, stayed silent the whole time.

"Ready to advance?" I ask over coms. Daredevil nodded back at me. Percy glanced at me with a stern look, almost questioning why I asked.

I received an affirmative from everyone. After glancing one more time at the building, I give the okay.

Percy races ahead of me. Almost excited to face these monsters he told us about. And no amount of debriefing could have prepared me to experience these creatures.

I have seen horrors of World War Two and the damage done by Nazis and the Red Skull. These creatures were surreal.

The smell is what hit me first, it smelled like rotting flesh and death. Immediately bad memories of war came to my mind, like any soldier.

Percy muttered a few words, "Blemmyae, hellhounds, and Tidy Whites himself."

I didn't understand the first word but it must describe the pair of eyes now, staring at us after our loud entrance.

A woman type thing stood in front of me snarling. Her eyes were in the place of her brazier and a long pointed nose and orange lips on her sternum. Her shoulders were mismatched and awkward with the rest of her body. She snapped at me revealing a nasty set of death. Acting quick, I nailed her in her chest or face as Tony burst through the ceiling.

"Well hello there, sexy lady!" He called out to her. Only to have his leg grabbed and tossed through the left side by the Minotaur.

Now this guy is the one who smells. His bright white underwear stood out against his brown hairy man legs and chest.  His horns stood far out from his head and looked razor sharp.

Percy, who didn't seem to notice Tony, sliced away at a couple of huge black dogs with Daredevil trying to aid him. As I kept swatting the blasphemy thing whenever she ran towards me.

I looked over to see how the right flank was handling everything. The spider set were dealing with a female with goat legs and a head. For some reasons, this girl also had a cheering uniform on from a local school.

I ran towards the middle of the building, rolling out of the way of the Minotaur grasp, to activate the bubble holding everything in place. Out of the corner of my eye, I notice the monster move towards me. I raise my shield to meet his pounding fist, only for no impact.

"Haha!" Thor shouts with joy, "I have always wanted to battle with you, Man Bull."

He swings his mighty hammer a few times to slam it into the monsters face. The Minotaur is thrown back a few feet. He takes a moment to turn to the side and spit then to stand. He does the classic sign of a bull about to run before charging to Thor.

At the last moment, Thor jumps up into the air only to immediately slam onto his back. A loud crunch came from his back breaking. The Minotaur stayed laying on the floor not moving before crumbling into dust.

"It's time for Code Green." I hear Natasha shout over the noise of guns, metal, and battle cries of the monsters.

I reassess the scene. Percy and Daredevil successfully killed the hellhounds and were working on the blasphemy thing. Daredevil was distracting the thing while Percy came from the behind. She turned at the last moment to have her arm cut into instead of her torso being cut in two. Blasphemy raised her own weapon and met Percy's sword raining down on her.

Spider-Man and Natasha were still trying to kill the other monster. His webs were slowing her down but not doing a whole lot. Thor was quickly coming over to aid.

Iron Man was flying around shooting randomly at different monsters. His armor and weapons were doing very little to them, but it was annoying them.

Hulk suddenly burst through the left wall and grabbed Blasphemy. Hulk slammed her into the ground on his right and left several times before chucking her into the ground. Percy was quickly on top of her plunging a sword into her face or chest.

I raced over to them to see what their injuries were. Daredevil seemed fine, barely winded. Percy was covered in blood and monster dust but had minor cuts.

Hulk quickly snapped to the monster tormenting the Spiders and rampaged over to assist. He knocked over several canisters and boxes as he picked up the monster girl and started to slam her into the ground too.

An arrow suddenly whisked past me to hit another hellhound that randomly appeared. The black dog started to catch on fire. It didn't do damage to the hellhound as he ran over and bit down on Hulks arm. Hulk yelled in outrage and threw the dog into the tanks.

Everything happened so fast. An explosion ripped through the warehouse from the right side. I grabbed Daredevil, who was near me, and blocked most of the damage with my shield. Spider-Man thankfully sensed it and web-slinged him and Natasha out of reach.

Percy, who was close to the explosion, was thrown back into the sidewalk edge before falling into the water. I did not see what happened to Thor and Tony.

The explosion ended quickly but everything was on fire, including the monsters. Thankfully, the bubble holding device was still functioning.

I wasn't worried about Percy because I knew the water would help him. I was concerned on how long we can hold off with these monsters since we don't have the weapons to kill them.

We only had one more to deal with, the girl monster. But she was still on the ground after Hulk got to her.

"What are these things?" Daredevil shakes his head as he steps forward to avoid a falling wire.

"I have no idea." I admit, "I only know we need to kill them."

As we walked closer to the girl, she was incredibly beautiful. Her hair was perfect even when her outfit was a little torn. While her upper half was mighty fine, her legs were weird. A bronze fake leg paired with a donkey leg. I could now see them properly close up.

"Step away from Kelly," Percy. "I have some unfinished business with her."

He stands over her about to drive his sword into her too as he says, "This is for ruining my day at school and my date." Percy has a ghost smile on his lips as if remembering simple times as he runs his sword through her.

"What now?" A voice asks from behind me. I haven't heard her young voice since I was on ice.

I turned to see Peggy standing behind me, just as I left her. Same uniform and all. Seeing her makes me run to her and pull her into a kiss. Only to be rejected.

"Why would I kiss a manufactured soldier?" She questioned.

"Peggy?" Confusion highlighted my voice. What did she mean?

"You were never a soldier, Steve." Peggy spits out my name like it is rotten. "The only reason why you exist is because of some chemicals. You mean nothing. You're nothing but cooked mix of drugs."

I look around in confusion only to see the other Avengers talking to other people. Peggy grabbed my jaw forcing me to look back at her before I could identify who was who.

"You show me respect when I am talking to you." She demands.

Peggy continues to degrade me and shout at me. Ranging from how pathetic I still am and how little I have been of help to how mad she is that I broke our promise. She went on with several different scenarios of how I could be have been a better leader and caused less men to die. With every word she said, I could see how bad I have been. Each word was a knife cutting into me. The first few didn't hurt so much but with each one, the wounds got worse.

"We both know you could have dropped the plane in a better spot where we could have found you. Or even jump out and let the plane crash itself. You call yourself a Capta-" Peggy suddenly dissolves into a mist.

I blink and look up to see the fires still burning around me and the other Avengers in the same state of confusion. Hulk, however, being upset is trying to destroy the whole building, which is not good.

"Is this the guy we talked about?" Daredevil's voice rang out. He walked in from one of the holes in the way with a bright blue haired man. His hair was expressive to say the least. You could see different colors as he moved towards us. Blue was quickly being replaced with a bright red suggesting his hair could change colors. Daredevil had this man in the mutant cuffs we gave him with tape over his mouth.

"Yes it is. Good work." I nod and take a hold of this man. "You gave him the anti-mutant serum we gave everyone, correct?"

"Correct." Daredevil shoves Morr towards me.

"Has anyone seen Tony and Thor?" Natasha asks as she and Peter walk towards us.

We all shake our heads. "I haven't seen them and what even happened just now?" Peter questions aloud.

"You guys met the Algea." Percy answers his question. "I am wondering why it didn't effect you, Daredevil."

"That's simple." Daredevil meets his eyes. "I'm the man without fear."

"You're trying to tell me that the entrance to Olympus is in the Empire State Building?" Tony asks. He ended up getting knocked back in the explosion and his suit malfunctions after being assaulted by the flames and several metal beams.

"Tony. We have already discussed this." I tell him sternly.

"Yeah yeah, something about taking Morr here to meet with some gods. I don't see why we can't just kill the guy."

"Um, Mr. Stark, Morr is a god too which means we cannot kill him." Peter joins the conversation.

"That's just a minor detail." Tony states, "We gave him the formula so he will never be able to use his powers again. So just lock him away if he can't die."

"And we already know how that will end." Natasha speaks up from her position on the couch. "Just admit you're wrong."

"Never."

I roll my eyes at Tony. Percy is taking a long time to get this passkey from the security guard. He insisted that we waited off to the side until then.

After a few more minutes, Percy waves us over to the elevators. We crowd into yet another steel trap as Percy selects floor 600.

"How long will this take?" Peter asks, "Thor said he wanted to play some games when we got back."

Percy decided that Loki and Thor shouldn't come with because 'Zeus is a man-child' and 'might get protective of his godhood'. I don't know what he means by this.

"A few more minutes. Just remember what I said. Let me do the talking. Do not get sassy with the gods. They will not hesitate to kill you. And try to be respectful. Its been a while since humans were on Olympus."

"I'm always respectful and perfect." Tony adjusts the sunglasses on his nose as Natasha snorts at the lie.

The doors open up to reveal a beautiful set of gardens, buildings, and statues. Nymphs glanced over at us as we walked out of the elevator.

"Stay on the path." Percy said taking the lead. "Don't talk to the Nymphs." He kept his eyes on the path refusing to look around him.

"Wow, this is beautiful." I can't help but say aloud.

Tony was equally impressed, "Look at the architecture and set up of the buildings. Genius. I would love to meet the god who did this."

"It wasn't a god. It was my girlfriend." That's why Percy doesn't like it here.

We quickly entered into the Throne Room where a giant set of thrones in a reverse U shape. Each one was fit for a the ten feet tall gods. There were 12 main ones with several more thrones that looked like add-ons but were still breathtaking. Each throne was unique, like it was made to match the god.

"Perseus Jackson." Zeus's voice thundered across the room. "It has been awhile."

"I talked to Fleecy. She said she would make sure you got my message." Percy steps forward out of our group.

"Indeed, young hero, we know you are here about Morr."

"Then you know what he has done." Percy is trying to waste no time by being short. He wants to get out fast.

"Where is this Morr?" A man covered with armor and a few guns asks.

"Yes, where is this god? It has been a while since I've seen him." A woman in a grey elegant toga with a few books stacked up next to her adds in.

Percy looks back at me and nods so I push Morr forwards towards him. Morr stumbles trying to balance himself with his tied hands.

Aphrodite looks up from painting her nails, "Where's Loki? I wanted to ask him about his date."

"Aphrodite, please try to stay on topic." A woman with a bowel of cereal scolds.

"Like you're one to talk, Demeter." The man with the guns fires back.

"Oh shut it, Ares. You just want attention." A man covered in gold joins into the argument.

From there, like children, they start bickering back in forth.

"Enough!" Percy yells and it echoes louder than Zeus's throughout the throne room. "It is hard enough to be here and I do not appreciate you guys arguing when I have had to save your butts so many times now. All I am asking you to do is to either throw Morr into Tartarus or take away his godhood. Then I will gladly leave you alone."

The gods stopped immediately and stared down at him. Poseidon, twirled his trident, looked smug like he was proud of his son.

Zeus seemed confused for a moment as if no one had ever talked to him like that before, "Ah, yes. Thank you for the reminder, Perseus. We do not care for Morr. He is not needed as a god. I thought he was still in Tartarus after the mess he caused in Greece."

Aphrodite laughed, "That was a fantastic time! The drama was better than most reality TV shows!"

"Because he has now escaped and caused more issues, we will remove his status as a god. All in favor?"

A chorus of yeses rang throughout the hall. Morr was pushed, again, by Percy to be directly in front of Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. They looked at each other and nodded. Morr suddenly cried out in pain. His body started to lose its color and shrink. Morr fell to the ground as his body folded in on itself and crumbled into dust.

Percy stared at the dust and then back at the gods. "Can you please teleport us to the Avengers tower?"

"Of course, my son. I will be in contact soon." Poseidon smiled and waved his hand.

It smelled like sea breeze. I inhaled and closed my eyes remembering the last time I was on the beach with Bucky. Only to open them again to find us on floor 70.

"So Percy, how does it feel?" Tony asks nudging the guy.

Thor and Loki looked up from their paused game surprised to see us back.

Clint smiled, "Feel like a new man?"

Percy was facing us but not looking at us directly. There was a faint outline of several kids around him talking to him. Percy looked like he was about to cry. But not in the bad way.

These kids must be the other members of the Seven but there was more than seven. There was a guy with a tool belt standing next to a boy with blond hair and glasses with his arm around a girl with choppy brown hair. A small girl with curly brown hair was in the arms of a big man with a military style hair cut. There was another boy with a leather jacket on standing next to a girl with a purple cape.

Directly in front of Percy, holding his face in her hand must be Annabeth. He turned to talk to them his voice quivering.

They all joined around him in a giant hug and slowly each one said something to him and disappeared. Until it was just him and Annabeth.

He pulled her into a hug and a kiss. Tears streaming down his face.

She whispers something into his ear and he nods.

Offering her a tearful smile, she holds onto his embrace until she disappears like the others.

We give him a moment before Loki breaks the silence, "Percy?" He voices our concern.

Percy looks up at us through watered eyes, "I don't know if I will ever be okay again, like when they were here. I know I can get better with help. But I will still have to deal with their deaths every single day." His voice breaks, "I can't let that control me any longer. Annabeth wouldn't want that."

Behind him appeared the faint outline of the girl again, supporting him.

And that is the end.

This was over 3000 words.

I'm sorry it took so long to get out. It turns out that I had a sinus infection since April 2017 (which is when this book stopped getting steady updates). Since then, I have graduated high school, started my first semester of College, and had a surgery in January 2018.

Either way, this book is now done.

I hoped you guys enjoyed it. Please let me know what you think!

I will eventually edit it so it will be a less cliché. I reread my story and wasn't super happy with the beginning.

Thank you so much for reading.

Stay alive <3
