Chapter 42: Broken Forever

Bonnie's P.O.V

It was actually good to see the pizzeria, and by that I mean to see it in perfect condition. I'd fear Shadow Bonnie had done his work while we were gone. Though it felt wrong.

Me and Golden Freddy stepped out of the portal as I looked around. It was fine; there were no signs of damage or any attack. "The hell? It looks fine," I said looking around. "That is peculiar," said Golden Freddy. "He had the perfect chance to attack, but he chose to not accept it," I added in. "I feel like something more is going on here." "Bonnie!" I turned around to see Chica running towards me while Puppet trailed behind her as well. "You ok?" she asked. "Yeah, I'm fine," I responded. "We were able to solve half the problem, but at a cost," said Golden Freddy. "What happened to you?" asked Chica noticing his condition. "Shadow Bonnie got the jump on him while I was dealing with Shadow Freddy," I said. "What's his condition?" asked Puppet. "His legs are broken and dysfunctional, everything else is unharmed," I answered. "I'm glad you're ok. Both of you," I said. "Shadow Freddy got the jump on me as well earlier, though I'm glad I wasn't harmed," said Puppet. As he was talking the doors for the kitchen opened as Foxy and Carl peered their faces through the crack and space they made. "You're back?" asked Foxy surprised. "Yeah? What did you expect, me to be gone so soon?" I asked. "Well you made it seem that way for the whole day," he said. "Well sadly it's partially over," I said. "What do you mean by that?" asked Foxy. "Shadow Freddy... well wasn't as bad and angry as we thought he was," I said. "What?" asked Puppet. "Golden Freddy made him realize that his intentions were wrong in the end, though Golden Freddy was, gone... temporally. He agreed to give up his life to save Golden Freddy's in the end," I explained. "Wow! Maybe there's hope for Shadow Bonnie as well," said Chica. "Well that's to be determined," I said. "What's determined is Shadow Freddy's true colors." I turned around to hear a voice, one I hadn't heard in what seemed like in forever. It was Freddy. "Well, I see the asshole himself has come out of hibernation," said Foxy with his arms crossed, probably wishing he hadn't shown his face so soon. Or ever. 'Of course he has to say something that will probably trigger his hostility,' I thought. "And I see you haven't changed since I was gone. Though that's same old Foxy for you," he said. 'He's acting so calm, he hasn't been like this in forever. Not since the old days,' I thought. "It would be preferable if I was fixed by now, my current state isn't tolerable to be apart of," said Golden Freddy. "We'll take care of him, Foxy help me carry him to the back room," said Puppet. "He better not be heavy," said Foxy carrying Golden Freddy by one side as Puppet came over to carry him on the opposite side. "Chica, Carl, can you give me a couple minutes with Freddy?" I asked them. "Sure," responded Chica. She walked away with Carl while escorting Foxy and Puppet with Golden Freddy. "I see you've changed," I said. "I've put a lot of thought of how I've been acting towards everyone for the amount of time we've been here. I should've realized how my attitude has affected the people around me," he said. "It wasn't the attitude that I was questioning about, but rather why you diverted your personalty into something else," I said. "Then I guess you need a proper explanation, and why Shadow Freddy was the reason why I changed," he said. "I just hope you don't hate more than you already do."

Freddy's P.O.V

As you can remember clearly, like the others can recall, was the era when things were different. The time when we weren't in a position of being the entertainers but rather the people to sit back and watch the replacements do our job. Foxy didn't seem to care, considering he's shown to care for some things. Chica did some what care, but she tried her best to hide it. And you. You didn't hold back your feelings, which is completely justified. I tried to look past the negatives and embrace the positives, or at least the ones I made for myself. There was no thought of what bad this new life had given me. Though I focused on one important question. Why were we given this life without knowing it? I spent those four nights out of the five to reveal the hidden answer that wasn't so clear to us. It seemed wrong that going to sleep would transition into this. You would sleep and expect a normal night but then wake up to find out your not in the place you belong. I went through every file, every document, every folder to find a solid answer. It was the only purpose I had during the time I was there. But even I had my limits with that goal. I took time off to get to know the others, well mostly Toy Freddy. We had some similarities but we were different in many ways. I wasn't always dedicated to my work, thought that's besides the point. It wasn't until a while in during the second day that I met Shadow Freddy. I just wish I hadn't trusted him, because he offered something that you would've wanted.

"Twentieth time for this section of files, and nothing," I said putting the file I had aside with the others I had in a stack. For the past two hours I'd been trying to find an answer on why our place had closed down. I glanced over at the clock above the party room I was in; it was about two after so far. "I'll just check one more stack then I'll call it a break," I said looking back at the papers I had to check. I honestly wasn't getting any progress so far, considering I hadn't done this for too long. The problem was that there were huge amounts of papers I had to go through, and I'd only scratched the surface of them. "How about you have a guide assist you." I turned around quickly to see a figure at the entrance of the room. It was shadow figure of me, almost identical to me. "Who are you!" I demanded. "I'm someone that can give you a way into a shortcut that can solve you questions about why your pizzeria closed down," he said. "How do you know about that?" I asked. "I've been observing, knowing what value your place held in your heart," he said. "Who are you really?" I asked again. "I'm a friend, but you can call me Shadow Freddy," he responded. "Why do you look like me?" I asked. "What's with the questions, I can't fucking answer all of them!" he said changing his attitude. "You think I wouldn't be questioning why someone like you would just appear and talk to me out of nowhere? I didn't even know you existed," I said. "Well lucky you now you know," he responded. "It still doesn't answer how you know what location I came from,"  I said. "Let's just say I once had a life, and that was stripped away from me. Just like yours," he said. "It's obvious you have a burning passion to learn why you're here," he said. "So I'm guessing you know," said Freddy. "You don't trust me?" he asked. "Why would I?" I asked. "Well I wouldn't either. In fact I don't trust you for the fact that you don't trust me, I don't know a fucking thing about you!" he exclaimed. "I hate to point it out but you do have some issues with keeping you temper in check," I pointed out. He slowly turned to face me as he stared and didn't unlock eye contact. Even I couldn't retract my eye sight from him. He suddenly charged up at me as he grabbed me in the air by his hands. "You know why I can't control my anger? It's because the same asshole made me like this, and he's the reason why you're a pile of shit!" He let me go as I feel on the ground. "Who?" I asked getting up trying to shale off what happened. "Oh so now you care!" he exclaimed. "That was before you gave me a valid answer," I responded. "We're talking about someone, or something to be more appropriate," he answered. "Purple Guy. I can't ever forget that son of a bitch!" "Purple Guy? You make it sound like he's subhuman," I said. "Because he is, he's a psychopathic manic," he responded. "So what do you know about him?" I asked. "He's not human, can't skip that damn factor. He's crazy, which is established. And he has a tendency for tampering with animatronics," he explained. "Hold up! Does that mean we've been tampered with as well?" I asked. "How the fuck should I know? Every time I wasn't around, he was. It's like he knew every perfect moment to be at," he responded. "Maybe that's why we were unexpectedly shut off," I guessed. "It's a possibility, but don't jump to conclusions without having evidence to back it up," said Shadow Freddy. "Well, I'm just guessing. So he's basically the reason why we're here?" I asked. "For the most part, yes. And I think you should take into consideration that he's still lurking around the franchise to ruin it again," he said. "He's always comes back." "So what do I do about it?" I asked. "Obviously not let that bitch take another life, you need to be ready for him. He will strike again," he said. "Find any information about him and use it to predict his next move. That's unless you want to be more withered and battered like you're already," he said walking away. "So why help me?" I asked. He stopped as he turned to look at me, while I awaited his response. "Because I'm getting revenge for my price that I never asked for, the same price you experienced." He looked away as I turned back around. Though I should've not done that, because all it did was give me a more questionable interpretation on him. He was gone, vanished. I quickly walked outside as I looked both ways for any sight of him. The only things I could see was the empty halls and the office. I was having thoughts about him, thoughts of whether I should take his word or not. I didn't know him and not only that he was someone that was questionable. But I had an answer of who the person was responsible for closing our previous pizzeria down. Not only that there was a chance he would repeat the same process again, but I had the chance to prevent it from happening. I quickly looked at the direction of where the hallway was that lead me to the main area. I walked away immediately to the where the maintenance room was to find the others. "I need to tell everyone about this, whether it's false or not."

Just the thought of it made me question if it was possible, but first I had to share the truth. Though you and others refused to accept the truth. You, Chica, Foxy, even the toys thought I was just being delusional. Thankfully there was one person who understood my problems, Puppet. He personally knew Purple Guy and he was willing to help me. But he also agreed to help me understand who Shadow Freddy really was. We kept it to ourselves since it was my personal problem, not anyone's else. At the same time Shadow Freddy would occasionally visit me, though not so pleasantly. He knew I was sharing information about him with Puppet, and he threatened to do something about. But even when he seemed like he badly wanted to destroy me, he restrained himself from doing so. I could see the image in his eyes, the hate. It was like something was keeping him in line in order to not snap, maybe because of Shadow Bonnie. Or maybe because he knew I was important to him, at least in his eyes. I spent almost every hour of the remaining days to discover who really was Purple Guy and exploit how he caused the closure of our pizzeria. And thankfully I received the answer I needed, but not the one I wanted. It turns out during the previous day he killed five children during the day, in which he hid their bodies in us the last night we were active before we were shit off. The next day he erased any memories of us beyond that point in time, just do he could hide the evidence. Eventually the workers and visitors reported strange smells coming from our suits, and they found the bodies. Lucky for Purple Guy they never found out he was apart of that act. I found this out by finding an old newspaper article on it with files; it's obvious he was still hiding the evidence. And those weren't the first murders that took place. There was another location that existed before that once, Fredbear's Family Diner. Shadow Freddy, or formerly known as Fredbear, and Shadow Bonnie, who was Springbonnie, were the first animatronics to exist. A murder took place that took the life of a child, and Purple Guy is the one to blame. He's been around since the golden days, and he still lurks around each corner waiting to repeat each plan. I couldn't find out any other information about who he was or why he was purple to begin with, but that held no purpose to me. The only thing that did was knowing the truth, and I knew I had to prevent him from repeating history again. But somethings just change and don't go according to plan. And that's what everyone forgets to think about.

Every moment I would glance at the clock over and over, to just count every second. I needed to be ready for when Purple Guy would strike, it seemed obvious that he would strike. Not only that but I calculated when he would strike, and my calculations concluded the results to be tonight. I glanced over to hear the others laughing and giggling with each other. I could see the toys talking with one another and the others, which was strange since Bonnie and Foxy had a displeasure feeling towards the toys. Yet they seemed to be getting along with them. Bonnie was the one that surprised me the most since he seemed depressed ever since we arrived here, but that seemed to be nonexistent to him now. He was actually kinda satisfying to see him happy for once. I looked back at the clock to continue monitoring for my own satisfaction. I was doing this for me, but also for the others so that their happiness couldn't be erased for the moment again. The more I thought about it, the more I realized even I didn't fully enjoy this life. "Hey Freddy, you good?" I quickly turned around to see Bonnie was standing behind me. "Yeah, I'm good," I responded. "You sure? You've been avoiding everyone for the past two days. And I know from experience that you're feeling the same way I felt," he said. "What happened with your attitude about this place?" I asked. "Well, Chica convinced me that I can't forget what happened to us. Though you can recreate your own happiness if it's snatched out of your heart," he said. "Bonnie, I need to tell you something," I said to him. "What is it?" he asked. "Bonnie come over!" called Chica over to him. "Ok! Give me a moment," he said walking away. "Wait! Fuck!" I said. "I see convincing people isn't easy as it looks." I looked over to the side to see Shadow Freddy hovering over me. "It isn't that. It's just that I can't have the opportunity to tell him the truth," I said back. "Besides, why the hell are you back?" I asked. "I told you each night I wouldn't leave, at least not just yet," he said. "I still doubt you're here to tell me about Purple Guy," I said back not looking at him. "No, that's for sure. But a friend of mine would appreciate it if he got the chance to talk to you," he said. In an instant we were in the maintenance room, as I looked around all quizzical. "H-How did y-" "Shut up, I know you were at one place then here. Fuck, where is he?" said Shadow Freddy. I was starting to consider leaving, if that option wasn't kept in the back of my mind already. At least I kept true to my statement, I can't trust this guy. "Shadow Bonnie! I got him, just fucking hurry up already!" he yelled. "Who are you talking about? What's going on?" I questioned. "Something far more greater than you." I turned to see two white eyes illuminating from the shadows, as someone walked towards me. It was a shadow version of Bonnie, except he looked different to Shadow Freddy. "It's clear you have many questions on what we are, but that will be explained one day. Just not yet. All I can express is who I am, Shadow Bonnie," he said. "What if I told you and a friend of yours have been chosen for something of importance to us?" "How important?" I asked. "Very important. Something that can restore our broken life," said Shadow Bonnie. "Can I just fucking do it already!?" exclaimed Shadow Freddy. "Go ahead," he responded. "Wait, what's going on!" I demanded backing up as Shadow Freddy walked up to  me. "I would say it's nothing personal, but it's really fucking personal," he said. "And I don't regret it." All of a sudden, I started feeling weird as Shadow Freddy went in me. In my head all I could think of was hate, it was like I could see it. It felt like it had a life of it's own, and it was in control of me. I couldn't speak, move, or feel myself. All I had was my thoughts. "At long last, I get a new life!" said Shadow's voice that echoed throughout my head. "What did you do to me? Why can't I move?" I asked him in my head. "Because this is my life now, not yours! You don't know why I desire this so much, and soon Shadow Bonnie will be reborn again as well!" he said. "Get out of my body!" I yelled throughout my head. "Sorry, but's it mine to keep. Now the only thing that is needed is to properly dispose of the outdated," he said. All of a sudden I heard a noise as my body fell down onto the ground. "What! What the fuck is going on?" he asked. "You're losing control," said Shadow Bonnie from the outside. "But how!? I should have control!" he responded. There was a pause after he spoke again. "Fuck me. He's not the one!" "How about you get out of me now!" I demanded. "I will. We have no use for you anymore, except for one thing," said Shadow Freddy. There was a violent shake that I felt in my head as that indicated something was happening. "I-I can't leave! Fuck! Spr- I mean Shadow Bonnie I need assistance!" he yelled. "That's proves to be interfering with my ability to help you, his body is moving," said Shadow Bonnie "How? I can't even control what the fuck he does!" responded Shadow Freddy. I could hear sounds, noises, and chaos. There was the sound of punching, kicks, and something else loud increasing in noise. There was a large sound suddenly as the next second my vision was gifted back, as I immediately fell onto the floor. After a couple of seconds of trying to get my strength back, and hold back the increasingly difficult pain that seemed to just be here randomly, I finally looked up. In front of me was Shadow Freddy on the ground as well, most likely the effects of being in my body being the cause. "Get up, we have to go!" said Shadow Bonnie running over to Shadow Freddy. "No, no, NO! Not without my new life! It has to be here somewhere," said Shadow Freddy getting up. "We've already wasted the potential of the time given to us; we have to retreat," he said. "Not yet! There's still time!" responded Shadow Freddy. "Our time has to replenish now, I want to be complete again as much as you crave it. But even I wish coming here was for nothing," he said. "We'll get our life's back, but we must wait or else not halting our conquest will be the reason we'll meet out demise, deeper than the point we're stopped at." Shadow Freddy looked at me as he turned back to face Shadow Bonnie. "Fine, I'll wait a little longer," he said as he turned back to face me. "You'll be thankful that your death is still waiting for you." He turned back around with Shadow Bonnie as a portal opened in front of them, leaving their doing behind for me to clean up. As the portal closed I struggled to get up as I finally had the strength to pull myself off the ground and back on my feet. "Fuck!" I said breathing heavily. I looked at the door as I walked over to the door slowly, still being weakened from that event. I was thankful Shadow Freddy and Shadow Bonnie had retreated to wherever they were going back to, but yet this was a memory I would never forget. As I opened the door and walked outside I noticed something purple in the main room. They were far away, but the bright vibrant color wasn't hard to miss. But the longer I stared, the more time it gave me to realize it was the one I had wanted to reveal to the others, to me, and his sins. Purple Guy. I had almost forgotten about him, and he was here to continue his everlasting work. However there was only one thought and feeling I had flowing in my desire to take action. Anger. It was fueling my wish to end Purple Guy personally. And I could't get rid it. I walked in the room as I could see the others corned against the wall as Foxy was in front of them, acting as the final line of defense. "I'm warning you I hook your ass until I'm the reason you don't have one!" said Foxy holding his hook out as a way to intimidate Purple Guy. "Freddy!" Everyone looked at me as Purple Guy did the same. "Step away from them," I demanded. He didn't do as I asked him to do, however he took something out of his pocket. It was some kind of device as he took his other hand out to hit the button. "How about I ease their pain?" he asked. As soon as he hit the button everyone shut off, except me. They all fell onto the ground, shut off like being put into an eternal slumber. "Hmm, you should've turned off as well," he said. I felt a spark from the back of my head as Purple Guy's expression turned to concern. Without my will or control, I grabbed a part of the back of my head as I pulled out a circuit. I looked at it for a couple seconds before crumbling it and dropping the fragments on the floor. I then looked at him as I slowly walked up to him. "How the hell do you know where that was?" he asked backing off intimidated. "I don't," I responded. "But I know your diabolical ass is going to hell with you." "You're not supposed to be acting like this," he said at loud. "Then I guess I'm not suppose to kill, am I?" I asked backing him up in the corner while the others laid on the ground shut off. He quickly tried to grab me as I grabbed his throat while one the hand he had to grab me retracted to get my hand off his throat. I held him up in the air as he struggled to have air to support his health. "You should've known what your world created is the reason why your race will wither away, just like what you did to us," I said as I tightened my grip on his throat, and in seconds his life was wasted, only to be put into his rightfully place. To burn in hell. I dropped his body as I looked around, but yet I felt guilty. I felt like I had become a monster now in doing so of my actions. I was broken forever. All of a sudden I felt everything shutting off; I could feel my own life going to sleep now. "No! I won't repeat his doing again!" I yelled as my voice and hearing was fading away. "I won't let him come back! I won't let them come back."
