Chapter 3: Every Boss Is An Asshole

Bonnie's P.O.V

"Freddy, I can explain!" said Chica panicking. "What did I say about calling me by my name? I've clearly stated multiple times to call me 'boss'," said Freddy. "Why? So you can give yourself a respected title?" I asked. "Bonnie, I did not give you permission to speak. Remember the rules," he said. "Whatever," I muttered under my breathe. "Squeak, squeak!" said Carl. "Chica control your damn pet!" Freddy responded annoyed. "It's not a pet, he's a friend!" she responded annoyed he was treating Carl as nothing but a 'thing.' Honestly him taking the position of the leader makes him think he has the right to be an asshole all the time. He honestly doesn't know when to relax or have fun for once. He's always focused on work and what mistakes we do, and he has to make it seem like the things we do wrong affects his time and effort put into his work. "Now can you explain what's going on. I rather make this quick so I can go back to work," he said. "I uh... accidentally had the temperature higher than what it should have been while I was cooking my pizza," explained Chica afraid of what Freddy's punishment would be and how they would affect her. He was harsh with punishments and unpredictable, you never knew what the results would be. Though it's something we've had to deal with since we got here. Back then he still was the boss, but he always wasn't like this. He actually wanted to be well respected leader, but not use harm as a way to gain that judgment. He would also didn't let work consume his time and dedication away from us. Honestly it isn't clear on what changed him, but I have the feeling it has something to do with the previous location we were at. Though maybe we'll never know. He was basically irreparable, or at least that's what everyone thought of him. "I could take away your privilege of making pizza. But since I'm in a good mood today I'll leave you off with a warning, but only this once," said Freddy. 'That's a first,' I thought. It was rare for Freddy to be in a good mood, guess everything was going well for him today. "Bonnie, I need your help with the paper work. Come with me," he said to me. "Of course," I said to myself knowing it was the only thing he would ever ask me to do. Not to hangout, not to socialize, only work. He was not a friend. He was only an acquaintance to me. "Sure," I responded not caring. "What did I say about our responses to me?" he demanded. "Yes boss," I responded. "Good," he said leaving the kitchen. "See ya Chica!" I said leaving. "Bye!" she said. "You too Carl," I said. "Squeakems," he responded. I walked out of the kitchen as I tried catching up with Freddy. 'What was that feeling with Chica? It felt... odd,' I thought. "Now, I need help sorting out some taxes so I can pay them. I gotta get them done by the end of the week, or else we're going to be in more debt than what we're already in," said Freddy. "Huh? Oh, right!" I said getting myself back into reality. We walked into the office that was near the entrance; it was an odd place to put it, but I'm not the one responsible for designing this place so I can't really say much. We walked in as I shut the door behind us, just to make sure nobody would bother us. "We got a lot of work today so you better start," said Freddy tossing the papers in front of me on the desk that separated me from him. "Why can't you just get Foxy or Chica to help you with this type of job?" I asked. "Foxy I doubt would even do work, and I don't want Chica's greasy hands touching the papers," explained Freddy. 'Wow. You sure care about us,' I thought sarcastically. "Besides me, your the only other one who's eligible for this," he said. "It better be done by at least in an hour. Now excuse me, I need to use the bathroom." Freddy got up as he walked to the door and exited the room, leaving me alone with nobody but myself and my own thoughts. I started sorting the papers for a minute before dropping them on the table, not wanting to work. "God. Why can't I ever have any free time?" I asked myself. I looked up at the clock to see what time it was, only for it to read 1:03. "An hour passed by and wasted, except for the fact I helped Chica." I sighed as I just went back to sorting the taxes while thinking. Why did I have such and odd feeling towards Chica? What was it? I can't describe but it was like something was attracting me to her. Perhaps it was best to ask someone else? What I find odd is now at of all times I experience that feeling. As I was thinking, I saw something under the door. It was a shadow. I assumed it was Freddy but the silhouette was just standing behind the door. Could it be possible it was Foxy, Chica, or even Mike. I inched a bit closer off the chair to make out who it was, but as I finally was able to make out who it was I realized it wasn't anyone from our location. It was a bunny. 'Wait, is Toy Bonnie here?' I thought. 'No, if he was here he and the others would be here along with him. Also I would've heard them by now.' I got off the chair quietly just so I wouldn't scare off whoever was outside the office. But that didn't go to plan. As I got up, the chair made a loud creak, and that gave away my presence. The silhouette moved away as I quickly got up and opened the door, since I was free from the bonds that kept me from being loud and quick. I went outside looking to my left and right for any signs of whoever was here. I ran right to the main area as I could see the same silhouette entering the back room from the distance. I ran straight into the room as I looked around expecting someone, only to find nothing but the empty parts seeming to act dead but yet alive in disguise in a way. "Hello Bonnie," said a voice as I turned around, only to find an old familiar face. Never to be seen again until now. "You," I said realizing who it was. "You're Shadow Bonnie!"
